The Funktastics

Funktastics are no newcomer in the jungle / drum and bass bizness. Hailing from France, the group comprise Hugabass (founder of legendary parisian parties I Love Jungle and Jungle Juice), C-Nine and jungle pioneer DJ Science. They've already had a stride of underground hits on reknowned labels such as Good Looking, Shogun Audio and Spin recordings. After a brief hiatus honing their studio skills, they're finally back in the game with a punchier and more polished sound ! Marrying their infinite love for funk, electro and big bad dancefloor bass, their new productions also opened up to a wider range of bpm's as their upcoming "Soultown EP" on french label Under Pressure Records attests, notably with 2step and dubstep influenced tracks. Les Funktastics, junglists parisiens de la première heure n'en sont pas à leur coup d'essai en matière de drum and bass. Composé d'Hugabass (co-fondateur des soirées I Love Jungle et Jungle Juice), C-Nine et du légendaire DJ Science, ils se sont déjà illustré par leurs sorties sur les labels de renoms que sont Good Looking, Shogun Audio et Spin recordings. Après un bref hiatus à peaufiner leur technique en studio, ils sont enfin de retour ! Avec un son plus abouti mariant leur amour de la funk et l'electro à la big bad bass dancefloor, leurs nouvelles productions livrent une musique toujours plus funky et punchy qui s'est aussi ouverte à d'autres bpm, comme l'atteste leur prochain EP à sortir sur Under Pressure Records, avec notamment un track aux influences 2step et dubstep.
