Monkey Puzzle Biography
Beginning as a reason to dog school, avoid responsibility and damage livers, 'Monkey Puzzle' was born. Consisting of Conor Moore, Ross McAdam, Lewis Kelly. Monkey Puzzle has went from 4 young men terrified to step on stage to a regular face in the Glasgow Metal and Alternative scene. MP have already supported many notable local and international touring acts including: Codejak, Ekram, Psyko Dalek, BrokenCYDE, The Millionaires, SENSER, Trapt, Death Valley High, The Bastard Sons, Snot, Asteroid Boys, Big B, Ceekay Jones, O.P.M, Crazy Town and DJ Lethal (House of Pain and Limp Bizkit). The latter of which, invited the band onstage to perform live covers of the Limp Bizkit songs "Break Stuff" and "My Generation". With a currently outstanding reputation for live shows, backed up by notable reviews from both Sound Influx, GoboPhotography, The New Hell Fire Club and the Queen Margaret Union, Monkey Puzzle have headlined many nights in several of Glasgow's well known underground venues and came first place in the 2014 Battle of the Bands at Glasgow Universities Queen Margaret Union. "they make pounding funk-metal that fits comfortably beneath their frontman’s raucous burr." - Sound Influx (11/3/13) "Step a-side and make way for a heavy helping of stomping rhythmical beats and a vivacious attitude and style that is sure to get the fan base jumping!" - Gobophotography (10/8/13) "Jaw-dropping rapping that proved better than Korn or Limp Bizkit." - qmunicatemagazine.com (24/4/14) "Playing the circuit-like monkey assassins on a power speed trip!" - Gobophotography (19/5/14) "I just keep thinking, can they get any better? Then all of a sudden, aye, aye they fucking do. So if you like rap/hip hop/nu-metal, or even just 'music', then this single will make you shit rainbows." - The New Hell Fire Club (10/08/15) Certified "FOR REAL" March 7th 2017
