Eric Burdon

Coined for their wild stage acts during the British Invasion, The Animals have rocked the music scene since 1962 with such hits as The House of the Rising Sun, We Gotta Get Out Of This Place, and Dont Let Me Be Misunderstood. Led by the gritty, bluesy sound of front man Eric Burdon, The Animals had ten Top Twenty hits in both the UK Singles Chart and the US Billboard Hot 100 and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994. They also received the Grammy Hall of Fame Award in both 1999 and 2011.
