Blue Note Napa Summer Sessions

My Wife surprised me ( just love that girl ! ) with tickets to see Kenny Wayne Shepherd last night at the Center for the Arts there in Grass Valley. Not Napa , not sure how that happened! BANNER EVENING ! The staff there are all happy, crazy helpful and make sure you get to your seat . Every seat in the house is good so no worries there , unless you get those nonstop “ dancing bears” in front of you that don’t care if they stand in front of you when all you’d like to do is watch and enjoy the show. Great show, Kenny is an incredible guitarist and Noah Hunt’s voice has literally continued to get better, how is THAT possible? The band , were in perfect unison all through the show , timing and tunes perfect. Thank you for the best evening

KWS always puts on a great show. Kenny shreds on his guitar every time we’ve seen him. Great to see him play some songs live we’ve never heard before too. If you like some screaming guitar definitely check them out. Thanks

Show was great! Getting into the venue was a fiasco. 2 lines to get in and no accommodation for handicap access to get in. They expected handicap individuals to stand in a huge line that rapped all around the facility. I was able to get a security guard to allow my access with a little convincing.

Amazing show, amazing venue. The band flew in that morning from Boston and still delivered an amazing performance. They played an array of songs from albums over the years with a twist, and an awesome backdrop of Napa behind them.

Wow oh wow! I really had no idea what to expect and was blown away. This band is top rated and as a Pink Floyd fan, I wouls see them again. Then, to my surprise, they play Great Gig in the Sky. What? Am I dreaming? I love this somg. The young lady belted out the vocals like a pro, enough to send chills down my spine. She got a well deserved standing ovation. The Meritage resort in Napa is a fantastic place to see a concert in the summer. It's outdoors. There's food and drinks and pretty much everything you need beautiful setting. .
