Perfect lineup for ppl with a taste in jimmy's direct circle..& extra fun for anyone who like the lesser known but pioneering to the scene bands. The venue looked fantastic, just the ppl outside trying to sell vip came to us 5x & when i mentioned you told us 5x the kid dressed like a depop ad says we prob gonna say it a few more times. Jim had the best sound..hey mercedes is jus like their albums, vocals take the backseat slightly..get up kids still sound like pre puberty adolescents.

100% one of the best concerts I’ve ever been too, my only problem was they were only limited to 5 songs due to a 30 minute timeframe but they made the best out of those 30 minutes and I even got to meet David Sanchez and Brett Rechtfertig which was dope and they signed my Zip up hoodie aswell which was Insane!

Special day celebrating 15 years of this band! The matinee start allowed us to bring our daughter and celebrate Mother’s Day with a band special to my wife. The venue was organized, and beautiful. Brooklyn Paramount refurbishment was fantastically done. Cannot recommend enough.

I was happy and excited to see her. I like that the dancers came out and preformed. Angie Martinez took it easy on her...and didnt even ask good enough questions it was so much to touch on and they didnt ,it was only and hour and they started late...ijs a lil disappointed

Great show one of my favorite albums from them played in its entirety, what isn't there to like. I'm always impressed by how good this band sounds you can tell that there are no tricks to their recordings they are exactly who they are and the energy and writing is incredible.

The Brooklyn Paramount is gorgeous. Even the lower bathroom lounge was amazing. There was pictures of Ella Fitzgerald & Little Richard. There was no opening act. He started playing around 8:40 from the posted 8:00 start. His band is tight & talented. I'm a big fan of October London, I know his " Color Blind" album. He did all his hits and a D'Angelo tribute of "How does it feel". He only performed just over an hour. It made me wanting more. Some folks felt short changed for their money. The Brooklyn Paramount has uncomfortable fold up seating

First, the deltas: Mr. London came to the stage nearly 50 minutes after start time. No explanation was not ideal, and what made the not even one hour performance worse was the number of times he said how long he would stay onstage, the "temperature check" to see how old the audience members were, and the general behavior as a personality, not a performer. The plusses: He was in great voice, RJ killed it with the guitar, ditto the drummer the keyboardist, and the backup singers, and his songs are terrific. Before anyone calls me a hater, I am a legit, longtime fan who saw him last May at Radio City who is about the Marvin album on vinyl in lieu of listening to him on Apple Music This performance was a letdown from the jump. Whether Live Nation's ownership of Brooklyn Paramount (with more bars than bathrooms and foldings chairs used instead of making the main stage floor something other than Standing Room) or Snoop's Death Row Records ownership and seeming management of his young artist moved a terrific, soulful singer to arrive late and wrap before 10pm is unknown. What I do know is I will think carefully before buying tickets to see October London perform at a large, corporatized venue. Thankfully, his repertoire is available on discs and vinyl on Discogs.

Really good show. The Wood Brothers had a horn section! The sound was a little less than perfect. It is a big venue (and really incredible btw). All and all the show was good and the band did not disappoint.

Show was excellent venue was nice but long time too stand as seats were very few and off too side not a good view .they offer ellas longe as add on for Xtra 40 per person but in my opinion not worth it as it doesn't get you in any earlier than fast lane only thing it really offers is drinks too purchase by the time you get a drink your way back from stage as fast lane is in there also.

If you are a Devo Fan, this was a 5 star concert. The music sounded great as I remembered it. A fantastic performance by Mark and the crew. They were into the performance and enjoyed being on stage. The energy was returned by the crowd who enjoyed a large selection of our favorites, including Mongoloid, Beautiful World, Peek-a-Boo, Whip it and MTVs most played song of all time, Uncontrollable Urge. The Paramount is a great place to see a show like this. the big open area allows a nice personal experience. There are plenty of spaces to purchase beverages with several on the floor so you don't even miss any show action while you maintain fluids. The acoustics were enhanced likely due to the solid walls and very high ceilings. If you love Devo or live music or both, this was a great show that will likely lead me back to the Paramount in the future.

4.5 stars for venue. If you are not at the very front, you won’t see them too much. They performed very well. Mic was ON. Fits were fitting! Been here for them since cardboard box. I hope they skyrocket into super stardom. This debut was very delightful. Enjoyed hearing Caught up, On & On, Soft, Walk Like This. The trio sounds just like the studio version, it’s insane. Can’t wait to what’s next!

Venue was easy to get around with help from the staff, house of protection was incredible, kumo was great even though not my thing. And Poppy started just as good as the studio album versions, like she was amazing, going between harsh and clean vocals.

The absolute GREATEST concert I’ve been to in a long time. Both artists were SUPERB!!!! It was a mesmerizing journey back into the 1980s. I had the privilege of meeting Mr. Blades at the meet and greet, and he was the nicest person ever to walk the planet. He performed my favorite hit of all time, “The Look of Love” and he sounded exactly the same as he did back in 1982. Howard Jones was also phenomenal !!! he has never sounded better. As an added bonus, Mr. Jones pleasantly surprised us by revealing that one of his guitarists was the founding member of the 80s group “Kajagoogoo” , and Mr. Jones as an homage to the the group performed the smash hit “Too Shy”, and everyone sang along. It was very moving. Both artists performed every single one of their songs and to see both artists perform was worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY!!!! If I had the money, I would see them again!!!

I thought this show was awesome! Even though I didn't actually see the show, but bands in town is asking me to review it. So I don't know.. maybe it totally sucked? Oh well, I'll give it a good review anyway

Amazing night - Phantogram are professionals. The setlist was well-balanced, the band’s performance was phenomenal, and the lighting stole the show more than a couple times. It’s incredibly rare to find an electronic band that can make such intricately mixed songs sound just as good or better live, but somehow Phantogram pulls it off every time. Hats off to everyone who helped make this concert Come Alive!

great show! i loved it but i wish it was seats or a way the tall ppl can b in the back so the short ppl can see the stage. 😒 also it said the show starts at 8 but they had another band play for about an hour so keep that in mind if ur not looking forward for that. also they played alison in a very upbeat happy way and i really wanted the original depressing vibe it naturally has. that’s what we all want TBH; but other than that great performance, respectful ppl and worth the time and money. i’ll never forget this concert there music is truly healing💗🌌⭐️

Honestly, one of the best, most lively shows I've been to this year. Plus, the Brooklyn Paramount venue was perfect for Fontaines DC's sound as the acoustics were fantastic! This band just keeps evolving and getting better! This show proved that.

the way he connects his soul to his guitar is one of the most beautiful things i’ve ever experienced live. he’s got a very huge future to come and i’m grateful i was able to experience it right now. he’s special.

They started an hour late but made up for it . Performed from 930 straight to 1130 without any breaks in between. The djs at the beginning were good but talked too much instead of just playing the music
