Oh my god it was like a bucket list completion. Phil was in top form, it was absolute perfection!! I wish they would've sprinkled in a few more older tracks, but they did hit us with some very epic early tracks, like "the somatic defilement". Attila opened, they were dope af very impressive. But Whitechapel reigned Supreme as expected!!! Sound was great, lighting was great, Vibrant music hall is a beautiful well-made facility, and overall this was an event I'll remember and relive for a long time to come. All hail Phil & Whitechapel. Much love from Des Moines, Iowa. Thank you for not forgetting us and passing us by- as is the case with many bigger names these days. Shoutout to Slaughter to Prevail as well!
Show was phenomenal!!! Our second time seeing Spiritbox. First time as the headliner. Got to say probably one of my best Birthdays I’ve had so far! My wife and I can’t wait to see them perform again! Also, my first time at this venue and I have to say it’s great. Definitely would recommend this place! We will go here again!
Not sure why my rating came in at 4 1/2 but it was a 5!!
Best toad show we’ve ever seen. We’ve seen them about 10 times in California, Tahoe, Arizona and twice in Iowa. Their music means a lot to us since 1990 and I just fell for the love of my life in a tent in Mendocino Ca listening to toad♥️ Still together after all these years and loving seeing your shows. Thank you Toad
They played a great mix of their old and new songs, interacted with the crowd like always, and had me singing along with every song! And, this was Josh still getting over an illness! Those guys really know how to bring the whole package to the show every night! 10/10
THE WHOLE "EXPERIENCE" WAS AWESOME!!!! GREAT VENUE, AWESOME SOUND AND LIGHTS, AMAZING PERFORMANCE. WHAT I LOVED MOST ABOUT IT THAT IS WAS MORE LAID BACK AND INTIMATE AS COMPARED TO A LARGE VENUE. ALL THE STAFF WERE SO NICE AND COURTEOUS....WHAT A GREAT MOTHER'S DAY EVENT!!!!! I LOVED ALL OF IT!!!
BRING BONHAM BACK....AND I WILL BE THERE!!!! LET'S ROCK!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!
This show was just amazing, Frozen Soul is 100 percent worth seeing. Fit For A King picked up their early slack. Kublai Khan Tx kicked a*s just like last time and Killswitch was well great. The venue is great and I’ll definitely be back again.
Kip is the best artist alive, and is extremely under recognized. I found Kip in 2015 when 'Wild Ones' was released, and have been hooked ever since. I've been to 6 of his shows, and he's the best performer I've ever seen, and it's not even close. Him and his band are incredible. We're looking forward to the next show, and going to try to make it overseas somewhere! We're willing to travel to Cape Town if he plays there again! Going to do my best to appreciate him and his band while they're around.
I did not care for either of the first 2 bands. Everyone else seemed to like that Tim, whatever his name was, though. Skillet was incredible. Seether sounded great, but I honestly expressed their show to be a little more interesting, considering how weird some of their videos are. I still enjoyed their set very much. First time seeing both, and was not disappointed (except for the support bands). Beautiful venue, but water is expensive and not even good water. Also, having to hold a giant cup instead of a water bottle is not convenient
Love the venue. Everybody that worked there was really nice and professional and things ran really smoothly. It was very clean. Didn't care for Royale Lynn. Tim Montana rocked the place and Skillet t Tore. It. Up! And Seether. Although they're my favorite band, kind of seemed like they just were phoning in it in. I know they must have been tired because they've been out for a while, but it was a little disappointing. They were good, but kinda lackluster. It seemed like Shaun was just like "Yeah, we're here. Let's get this done so we can go home".
The Smashing Pumpkins were fabulous Billy and group did not disappoint. The Glorious Sons were the opening band and they were better than I expected. I was not familiar with their vast variety of songs however they rocked the house.
I thought it was incredible as always! James had tons of enthusiasm that I'm not used to seeing. Jimmy was on point as he always is. The new guitarist had tons of s***k! I felt bad that Billy appeared as if his voice was somewhat out because I've seen him seven times now, and though he had an incredible passion on stage, his voice didn't have the punch it usually does. I can't fault him for that. Playing at a high level as often as he does is no small task. He challenges his vocal range with the set list he chooses, so I appreciate that. I do think he could mix it up though with songs that don't require such taxing vocal demands. I get his concern though with needing to stick to a setlist that includes specific hit songs because the fair weather fans that only want to hear the "hits".
I'm still in the post concert blues. Incredible show! Great lights! Sounded even better in person and was an experience I will never forget. I am a HUGE fan and I'm so glad I got to see them live. The venue was decent with great staff.
This was my first time seeing Sleep Token!! I drove 2 in an half hours to worship. The show, the lights, the Sleep Token- was perfect. The venue was nice- however, the standing room was over crowded. I’m short and spent a lot of time trying to see between tall shoulder bros, but I do not feel defeated. I will absolutely be seeing Sleep Token again when the opportunity arises. Love you guys- thank you for this experience.
It was worth it's weight in gold! Sleep Token, what more could you possibly say. Vessel's vocal range, even live, is unmatched. The energy of II, III, & IV was amazing, the production was perfect for them, and the performance was something that will stick with me forever. I will definitely be seeing them again when they come back around! Still awestruck a day later!
The guys delivered a great show. They left out some obvious hits in place of cover songs, which is frustrating for a band with a decent sized catalog of songs. This is our second time seeing them and we will check them out again when they return.
It was amazing! I got to meet with Anne's mom and talk to her, I also gave Anne a preasent. It was so fun and I felt the Lord there and I felt that Anne did an amazing job! I love the new song she just made called God and Country. Anne is a beautifull you lady after God's heart! Anne you are very talented. Anne's music has inspired me and helped me with my greiving of my dad. I love her music!!!!!! Like I said before She is an amazing SINGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
When I saw Anne Wilson was coming to WDM, I had to see her. “Let Me Tell You About My Jesus” got me through my darkest time as a mom in 2021 when my 19 year old son nearly lost his life due to an illness. Her song gave us hope and we experienced God’s healing. Jay is 22 now and his faith in God going through that forever changed him. I saw Anne in Sheldon, IA in 23. God gave her a gift and am so proud she hasn’t caved to society’s expectations as an entertainer. I only wish she and Jay would meet…a mama can dream can’t she? LOL!
First time at VMH. What a beautiful venue! Way better than Wellsfargo! Parking was great with easy entry and quick exit.
My daughter's favorite band. We listened to the line up all the way from our hometown to Des Moines. She might be in love with Vic 😆 The band donated a guitar to a fan and the music was amazing.
The concert was great and the staff at Vibrant music was good and personable and professional. I had a meet and greet with the band and it was worth the money and would do it all again. Great time and great show
