Awesome show! Lots of energy, played all our favourite songs!
They have truly come full circle and So great to see, from days at Fort York, summer nights.
Greg and Jim were spot on. The piano man was fantastic, had a couple of great solo parts!
Show was great! I’ve been following Morrissey since the 80’s and this is the first time I finally saw him. He never disappoints and his voice is still brutally beautiful.
I heard that the Niagara show last night was his third best favorite.
Jenny is always a delight. It's evident that she takes her craft very seriously. Vocals were stronger than ever, and she is now actively participating in choreography with her backup singers/dancers. The genuine joy she shares is evident. If you don't already know a good set of Ace of Base songs, I highly recommend familiarizing yourself with them so you can sing along. Jenny has solo material, which is great as well.
In terms of the concert and event itself, it was well done, but I do think that the lineup of other artists was a bit of a mismatch, since the theme was primarily 1980s freestyle, and despite Jenny being one of the top 3 featured artists, everyone had equal stage time. It's a shame because Jenny definitely had more material, but had to stick to the "basic big hits" setlist.
Saw TS lasy year at the Danforth MH in Toronto. It was young, hip, vibrant. One of the best concerts I'd been to.
Niagara Falls was a casino concert. The crowd was VERY much older and mature. I got the sense that most of the crowd was there on free casino tickets.
TS did his usual amazing performance, but it was a tough room. The room simply had little energy. He did cater to the crowd (a dixie version of "for when the saints") and eventually won them over, reflective of the band's versatility.
To be honest, if Trombone Shorty and a Casino performance were to go together again, I wouldn't be there.
Great venue. First time at that theater. Soind was great! Set list was very good. Quite a catelogue he has. Few songs voice cracked, but at 76 vocals still strong.
No pics or videos allowed so 4 stars from me
Awesome show Burton Cummings is an outstanding performer, he never disappoints !!! He played old hits from the Guess Who days hits from his single days and even gave us a taste of his new album which is amazing, just like the man himself. If you ever get a chance to see him, it’s well worth the price of admission .❤️❤️❤️
Show was excellent but perhaps a little loud. I notice the background music at most shows is so loud it is sometimes difficult to hear the singers. This is at both theatre's but especially this one. Overall it was excellent
Sam is always fantastic. Live singing and a great band. Good mix of songs from all his albums. He always puts on a great show.
Venue was nice and new but the bass was very loud at times and drowned out Sam’s vocals. We were front row first balcony so not sure if it was where we were sitting or an audio issue. But at times it was quite loud and screechy.
Other than that I will look forward to seeing him again.
This was my first time seeing Alice Cooper or any of his band in concert. I was not disappointed—there were lots of hits to choose from. Interesting little side plots are happening throughout the show. And a good amount of 'shock' to add to the 'rock.'
Also, the was the first time I was at the OLG Stage, I was impressed with the theatre. It's a little crowded in the entry, both entering and leaving, and lining up for merch, but after you put up with porters hurrying you along, you can relax and enjoy the show.
Always a great show! LOVE the energy on the stage. Feel great every time I see him and the band. Raining Jane is awesome and the brass section was a great addition, and the lead guitar! We need more concerts in Canada. Overall FANTASTIC!
Excellent show in a perfect venue. Great show in every way, great seats, enthusiastic crowd. Nickelback put on a non stop perfect setlist of their hits. Opening act was one I was not familiar with but was a pleasant surprise. Great choice!
Sadly did not find the souvenirs. They were downstairs somewhere.
I can never convey properly how amazing g Nickelback are live! An absolutely amazing show - both the musicianship and set list. Drove 7 hrs to see them and was totally worth it. Never been to the OLG Stahe before but will definitely go back.
Been to many concerts , but Nickelback was the best one ever!!! Owen opened up and was fantastic as well…. I love the way they interacted with the fans and have an amazing sense of humour…. Proud to be Canadian!!’ ❤️❤️
It was incredibly interactive, fun and provided an insight to the band. We have not been to a concert in a long time that provided great music and entertainment like we witnessed last night, we had a great time. It was an excellent venue. I would have liked to have had more vendor areas for tour swag and beer/alcohol stands would be my only suggestion.
Gord W.
Nice venue, Ridiculous prices for beer $14 pop $7, wine $18? Great show, nice BTO band & Randy Bachman is a True Master guitarist and writer. Especially nice that he told the stories of his life his career & where he got the ideas for songs. 80 years old & He Rocks!
Boyz II Men will forever be a favourite of mine, you can’t deny the talent and hits they have… but they really need to update their show. This is the second time I’ve seen them live, and it was the same format, same set list, giving out roses during I’ll make love to you, same “surprises” with the cover songs portion, even the same cover songs. If you youtube them, you can literally watch their concert in some random other city, even as back as 2019 and it’ll be the same thing. I also wish the show was longer, at least an hour and half or 2 hours. The drive there being longer than the actual concert is not it 🫠
Welcome Home Honeymoon Suite! Exceeded expectations - obvious that the band enjoys playing together and each others musicianship and support were apparent throughout the night. Vocals and harmonies were all on point with no negative signs of decades on tour. Terrific sightlines and acoustics for the venue. Fast transitions between four artists - kudos to stage managers/crews.
Aldo Nova finished strong after a wonky start (in-ear monitor hung conspicuously from shoulder all night) but for all of us who have clear vision, PLEASE MAN PUT YOUR SHIRT ON!
Such a beautiful venue with an intimate experience.
Brett was very clear and fun. I feel as though he is very structured in his set and I love what he stands for! Tyler Rich was a perfect opener as well! Such good people!!
Second time seeing machine gun kelly live!! First time was in 2022 in Vancouver bc loved it so much when I saw he was only having a show in niagra falls in 2023 I had to book a quick 3 day trip from Vancouver island to niagra falls just to him him live again. Can't wait for the next show!
Great performance by Bret Michaels. Sang all the hits, don't think he left any out. Excellent venue, wonderful seats, great sight lines. Would definitely come here again to watch a show.
Wasn't particularly pleased with the $60 parking fee, but......it is what it is.
