I flew my son here from B.C. as we both love Cypress Hill. It was an awesome show playing a lot of their great songs. A lot of people were on their feet. . My son said it was a moment he'll never forget. We saw them at the OLG in Niagara Falls which is a great venue to see a concert. We have to wait for our merch packages to come and I can't wait to see what we get. We had a blast and enjoyed every minute of the show.
Fantastic show. Best Culture Club concert I’ve ever seen and I’ve been to tons of Culture Club shows. Boy George’s voice was undeniably the best ever now. Love the new songs. He made the show worth every penny. He spoke to the audience like a friend, sharing his honesty and vulnerability. Waiting for the new songs to drop.
Looking for more correlation to Frank Sinatra as advertised as well a better more festive stage set up as it’s more than music, it should be a show. See Coldplay how they incorporate lights and audience interaction etc. not the same league but put a festive tree on stage, or green and red runners on the stands etc.
Love Arkells, one of my all time favourite bands. This was my 7th time seeing them and our 7 year old’s 1st concert! He was so excited to finally get to go to an Arkells show with his parents. Didn’t disappoint! Loved the Xmas element of the show and LOVED hearing Money and What Good live.
What an amazing night at OLG Stage at Follsview. Firstly, this is an absolutey great venue for live music. No seat is a bad seat! Add to this the amazing talent from Lost 80's Live and it was a perfect nostalgic night that brought us back to the fabulous 80's. Adding the meet & greet with the artists was an added bonus. So much fun!! Can't wait to see who the next show will bring. Keep up the amazing work!
There were 3 of us to see the Cult and it was an awesome show. The only thing all of us didn't care for was the opener and I can't remember the name of the duo that played. Didn't like them at all which has to be bad as I love all genres of music.
The Cult was fantastic and did not disappoint at all. The first part were songs I was not familiar with but still great. The second half of the show they played a lot of their hit songs that you know all the words to. Rain, Love, Lucifer, She sells sanctuary, sweet soul sister, The witch etc.
At the end after the encore Ian paid homage to his father with birds flying on a large screen which was very cool!
We all enjoyed the show immensely and I am so glad we went as I don't know if they'll ever come back to Canada.
First time that I've ever been to Fallsview. Nice venue. Comfortable seats. Wide walkways for easy entrance and exit. But the one escalator going down made long lines when exiting. Thank goodness for employees opening the side stairs which was much faster.
As for The Cult. Amazing as always. There were a few mishaps with sound and about 50 people to the left of me were blinded by a light bar that should have been aimed lower. But they were great. Played a great mix of songs. Billy's was on point as always on guitar. The tribute to Ian's father who is buried nearby was lovely.
The event was great I was planning this for my daughter's birthday for a while. I surprised her with the ticket to the venue at the olg stage in niagra. The place was really clean and the people who worked there was really nice. My child and I had a great time and she got to see peanut who she really wanted to see. She got some merchandise a peanut and jose jalapeno doll. The lines were really long tho. All in all we had an amazing time and it was definitely worth seeing.
What an amazing show.
Jo Dee seemed to really enjoy the audience enthusiastically singing along with her.
To be honest, I'm not sure who had more fun, Jo Dee or the fans.
Not to mention signing tons of autographs after the show!
As a fan, I really didn't want to say "Bye Bye" but "I'm Alright"!
Thanks for a night to remember Jo Dee and for signing my hat (photo)!
Beth Hart ROCKS!!!!!! disappointed she didnt sing my 2 fave songs... saviour with a razor and caught out in the rain. But SHE did not disappoint. Walking down the aisle she stopped to sing right to me, looking in my eyes... left me with tears were down my face. She's amazing!!!!
OLG stage is also easy to get to. easy to navigate. Lots of people to help if you get lost. Comfortable seats.
I may become a Beth Hart groupie and start following her around the world :)
Jenny is always a delight. It's evident that she takes her craft very seriously. Vocals were stronger than ever, and she is now actively participating in choreography with her backup singers/dancers. The genuine joy she shares is evident. If you don't already know a good set of Ace of Base songs, I highly recommend familiarizing yourself with them so you can sing along. Jenny has solo material, which is great as well.
In terms of the concert and event itself, it was well done, but I do think that the lineup of other artists was a bit of a mismatch, since the theme was primarily 1980s freestyle, and despite Jenny being one of the top 3 featured artists, everyone had equal stage time. It's a shame because Jenny definitely had more material, but had to stick to the "basic big hits" setlist.
Saw TS lasy year at the Danforth MH in Toronto. It was young, hip, vibrant. One of the best concerts I'd been to.
Niagara Falls was a c****o concert. The crowd was VERY much older and mature. I got the sense that most of the crowd was there on free c****o tickets.
TS did his usual amazing performance, but it was a tough room. The room simply had little energy. He did cater to the crowd (a dixie version of "for when the saints") and eventually won them over, reflective of the band's versatility.
To be honest, if Trombone Shorty and a C****o performance were to go together again, I wouldn't be there.
Awesome show Burton Cummings is an outstanding performer, he never disappoints !!! He played old hits from the Guess Who days hits from his single days and even gave us a taste of his new album which is amazing, just like the man himself. If you ever get a chance to see him, it’s well worth the price of admission .❤️❤️❤️
Sam is always fantastic. Live singing and a great band. Good mix of songs from all his albums. He always puts on a great show.
Venue was nice and new but the bass was very loud at times and drowned out Sam’s vocals. We were front row first balcony so not sure if it was where we were sitting or an audio issue. But at times it was quite loud and screechy.
Other than that I will look forward to seeing him again.
This was my first time seeing Alice Cooper or any of his band in concert. I was not disappointed—there were lots of hits to choose from. Interesting little side plots are happening throughout the show. And a good amount of 'shock' to add to the 'rock.'
Also, the was the first time I was at the OLG Stage, I was impressed with the theatre. It's a little crowded in the entry, both entering and leaving, and lining up for merch, but after you put up with porters hurrying you along, you can relax and enjoy the show.
It was incredibly interactive, fun and provided an insight to the band. We have not been to a concert in a long time that provided great music and entertainment like we witnessed last night, we had a great time. It was an excellent venue. I would have liked to have had more vendor areas for tour swag and beer/alcohol stands would be my only suggestion.
Gord W.
Nice venue, Ridiculous prices for beer $14 pop $7, wine $18? Great show, nice BTO band & Randy Bachman is a True Master guitarist and writer. Especially nice that he told the stories of his life his career & where he got the ideas for songs. 80 years old & He Rocks!
Boyz II Men will forever be a favourite of mine, you can’t deny the talent and hits they have… but they really need to update their show. This is the second time I’ve seen them live, and it was the same format, same set list, giving out roses during I’ll make love to you, same “surprises” with the cover songs portion, even the same cover songs. If you youtube them, you can literally watch their concert in some random other city, even as back as 2019 and it’ll be the same thing. I also wish the show was longer, at least an hour and half or 2 hours. The drive there being longer than the actual concert is not it 🫠
Welcome Home Honeymoon Suite! Exceeded expectations - obvious that the band enjoys playing together and each others musicianship and support were apparent throughout the night. Vocals and harmonies were all on point with no negative signs of decades on tour. Terrific sightlines and acoustics for the venue. Fast transitions between four artists - kudos to stage managers/crews.
Aldo Nova finished strong after a wonky start (in-ear monitor hung conspicuously from shoulder all night) but for all of us who have clear vision, PLEASE MAN PUT YOUR SHIRT ON!
Second time seeing machine g*n kelly live!! First time was in 2022 in Vancouver bc loved it so much when I saw he was only having a show in niagra falls in 2023 I had to book a quick 3 day trip from Vancouver island to niagra falls just to him him live again. Can't wait for the next show!
