Lords of Acid never disappoints. Carla Harvey(Vocals) has been on point the last year+ as the Acid Queen playing the old hits, and debuting a new song with her that will be on the next album. Praga Khan (Keyboards/Vocals/Founder), Galen Waring (Drums), Dietrich Thrall (Bass) and Jack Tankersley (Guitar) were tight on stage keeping the songs as good as they have ever been. With two guest singers (Princess Superstar & Tony from Tony and the Kiki) for two more new songs, Lords of Acid never lets their live act get stale. I've always said when you see the Lords live on stage in a club, you are getting an arena level act up close and personal. Lastly, the tickets and VIP were incredibly priced to get the most "bang for the buck" for the fans. I had a great time at this show, and will look forward to catching them on the next tour!
Tony and The Kiki absolutely blew the roof off with this show. They were electric, s**y, in tune with each other and the audience, and this was one of my favorite concerts that I've had the pleasure of attending thus far. I got a chance to meet them and they were incredibly nice and humble. I could not have been more impressed with their showmanship.
Going through the library, dropping some awesome covers, and a preview of some new music? It was absolutely incredible!! Everyone was up, up, up, up, and just soaking in such an incredible atmosphere. Plus Bershy and the band were incredibly kind, and Bershy was the absolute sweetest. You could tell how much everything meant to her. Was an amazing night hands down!
Conway the Machine Reject 2 celebration was a great adventure as the Machine entered the venue all decked out with the laters Mask straight out of a movie scene 🤖🎙️🎶🔥🥂 shout to FLYGOD for pulling up though he didn’t perform its always good to see Griselda as One
⚖️🦂
Phoebe really knew how to work and orchestrate the pit! There was a death wall, there was a no cisgender white male pit for “Lads Lads Lads”, there was a lot of crowd surfing where some people even got on stage and hugged/dance with the band. Phoebe herself crowd surfed. Toward the beginning of their set she split the crowd and got into the center of it and talked with us all which was cool. She checked in and asked if ppl were feeling safe and then threatened to punch the d**k of anyone who made ppl feel unsafe. We screamed in unison at how angry we are at the “fastest” g*v’t. It was very punk. Edging was amazing too. We chanted “k1ll c*pz” at the end of their set. The main vocalist had such a raw, powerful stage presence, the saxophonist and drummers went so f*****g hard, the bassist was cool and sick as hell, the supporting guitarist who I don’t think is a part of the band did some sick riffs. Overall, amazing show. Also got to cop cool Edging merch! ($1 button, $1 sticker, and $10 poster with all the band mates signatures and I think also the Lambrini girls bc it had two extra signatures???) I will say the merch person for Edging was struggling with WiFi bc the WiFi in the venue was a*s. Didn’t check the bar for prices on water but I chugged a whole bottle of water outside the venue and ate a spare protein bar that I snuck in my pocket. The pit was amazing like I said but it was super f*****g slippery bc people spilled their beer all over the ground.
This show was awesome and needed! I'm going to start with my 2 Bucket List bands. No Redeeming Social Value was amazing. Brought in the OG Beatdown H******e and Punk groove. Loved their set. And Shutdown. Ah man. Sheesh. Beautiful band right there! They are H******e Punk. Classic vibes and Modern H******e vibes. Their set was awesome. The openers, Deadshot. 2nd time seeing them. Always dope. Always amazing energy. Enjoyed their set. Orange 9MM. Also, 2nd time seeing Chaka and the gang. Do your research. Love that band. Loved their set! They boosted up the energy for the almighty Gorilla Biscuits. And Gorilla Biscuits, at this point, just like Orange 9MM. Self Explanatory vibes. They're awesome. Their set was awesome. And my 3rd time seeing Gorilla Biscuits. Loved all the bands. Loved all the sets. H******e Dancing/Moshing is slowly being more appreciated as an artform kind of again. Even if social media makes it cringe, it's still exposure to something that belongs to Sub-Communities/Scenes. Be sure to support the bands and the venue as well. Leave your comments. Share it around. Do your own Reviews as well.

Omg they are phenomenal!!! The way they rip on the guitars and drum it’s hard not to get into the feel of it all. Matt Scannell is hilarious and just an awesome person. If you haven’t seen them I don’t know what you’re waiting for.
AMAZING!! I’ve seen Chrissy perform with her band Against the Current before, but the Spin the Bottle tour with VOILÀ was a special show. It was so cool seeing her perform her entire solo EP VII and even some unreleased songs. Her vocals, stage presence, and energy were all impeccable! I liked the venue as well.
Pete's voice was as gorgeous as ever. The new songs are wonderful and it was so stirring and fun to hear all the old favorites too. Pete told a few stories with warm humor and appreciation for all his loyal fans from his 23 year career. I only hope it's not long again before we have another tour with his band in tow. ❤️🎵👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I arrived when my ticket said the doors open at 7:00pm. I asked where the Meet & Greet go and he said it started at 6:00pm ! I Paid for the Meet and Greet weeks in advance. I was told to speak with the venue manager, Jimmy. He was very nice about it and said they were having a issue with notifying people about the M&G times. He went looking for the Bands travel manager who left. I was instructed to wait by the ticket booth after the show to speak to him. I waited and waited and no one came. Around midnight I left. Never getting to see anyone. :(
The saving grace with that the band was totally awesome. They all put on and fantastic show. I only wish I could've have met them after traveling all that way to see them.
I loved it both of them we’re amazing I loved it I can’t wait to see Jared again if he sees this I am trying to get your signature tattooed on my back for the next concert I go to I’ll show you
Allie X and her opener Maylee Todd put on one hell of a show. The entire room felt electric and I was entranced the entire time. It’s truly a beautiful thing to see two artists who love what they do and give everything they have and then dig deeper to turn out an incredible performance. I feel so lucky to have been there last night, I cannot wait to continue watching the both of you!
Amazing show! Always top tier energy. This show was his birthday and we celebrated hard. Amazing artist, Amazing fans! If you are a real fan of hip/hop and rap do yourself a favor an get you and your friends tickets. You won’t regret it and you will be back again. 10/10 would 100% recommend! ❤️
It was my first concert!! She f*****g killed it just like how I was imagining it to be!! I really wanna see her again in New York!! I really wanna take my girlfriend with me so she can experience the same experience I had. Especially the V.I.P experience was even more amazing she played us some acoustic songs and we sang along with her.
Ben Kweller was amazing! He was awesome to listen to with his music and his chat! His band was spot on! The audience loved him and felt for him and his family, as he discussed the loss of his son Dorian! He played one of Dorians songs and it was very moving! He came out after the show and signed some items and chatted with some fans. He is an awesome person.
D4vd is such a humble & sweetest person i ever met. energy at the concert was freaking amazing and he made share he interacted with EVER fan❤️ 10000/10 , if you haven’t brought your tickets yet , what are you waiting for ???
You can push some people around here. You can flex some muscle and thrive here. Those are Joywave lyrics, not appropriate behaviors at Racket NYC. 5 stars to Joywave. 5 stars to Racket NYC. None for Gretchen Weiners.
The most ethereal vibes, taminos music touches my soul, such an amazing artist. I love how intimate the venue is, he always leaves me in a trance, hands down one of my most favorite artists. This was my second time seeing him live and I would see him time after time again.
