Great to see Logan Rex back dancing, singing with the band since the last time I seen Atrikal Sound System in Tacoma she was not performing. It’s was also wonderful to see her join Bumpin Uglies for a song!
Awesome show on a Sunday Night with great jams, positive vibes, Bubbles courtesy of The Bubble Meister . Logan Rex from Artikal Sound System joined in
On of the songs and was spectacular, positive vibes, attitude and energy from Bumpin Uglies 🫶🏻✌🏻🤙🏻😎
Setlist included
Fantastic show as always, Mr. Born is a very energetic and charismatic performer. I always enjoy seeing him weather he's playing solo or with his full band. It was a nice night of funky vibes that had me dancing.
The Den is a nice space to see music, sparse, good drinks, clean bathroom but not much for food though.
My one complaint was the light show, constantly hitting me right in the eyes, should have worn a cap to block it, next time.
Excellent show with awesome positive energy, vibes and blessed to be my third time moving and grooving to Fortunate Youth’ s 🔥 Setlist included 🫶🏻✌🏻🤙🏻😎
The acts felt a bit disjointed. The first performance was not up to par. Second act was slightly better.
Autechre showed the value of experience and their usual boundarie-pushing experimentation.
Overall, good show, ok venue.
Spiritual and danceable. I will never miss a show if they come back to Portland OR. They are a must see! I’ve traveled all over to see them. Absolutely love them
The performances from all three artists who played that night were amazing. Just a night filled with beauty, joy, & deep soul. i am so grateful that my sun & i were able to spend the Winter Solstice reveling in such powerful energy.
My one complaint, & it is a big one, is the sound & lights folks REALLY dropped the ball when Yaima came on. Multiple times throughout the night we had bright, white spotlights shined directly into our eyes, which was quite painful & shocking. i have never experienced that in all my years of going to a variety of different shows.
Second, the sound for Yaima was just terrible. Pepper Proud's voice was inaudible half the time, usually whenever there was heavy bass. Which, the bass, dude, wow! The bass was so strong, it not only made my whole body vibrate painfully, but drowned out the music completely. i've been to multiple electronica shows, plenty of noise & industrial shows, & never experienced this. It ruined many of the songs & i ended up leaving early because i was so sad & frustrated at not being able to actually hear the performance that we came to see.
The other two artists had great sound, so i'm not sure what the problem was, but it was a real bummer ending to what had been a magical evening. i very likely won't return to this venue again, as it was evident that multiple people around me were also in discomfort, & i watched several leave because of it, but the sound tech's seemed oblivious & did nothing about it.
Anyways, all of the performers gave incredible performances, & i'm looking forward to seeing them again ~ just hopefully in a different venue!
This was so much more than a concert or a cacao ceremony. Mose, his partner, and his team bring such a grounded, mature spirit that reaches by example and simply through witnessing and hearing their thoughts explained. These are powerful, deeply healed people. What a gift to be in their presence and to receive their medicine. This was absolutely beautiful. I’m so grateful to the whole team.
An experience I won’t soon forget. The venue, clean, open and inviting. Mose and the guests beautifully decorated our hearts with connection. A wonderful sober event and I look forward to attending more.
