Such an amazing show!! He’s so down to earth and kind, plus Luna made such beautiful merch!!
What an incredible performance! Such a great stage presence and a genuinely great person.
First time discovering your music and hearing it was at this concert and i'm so fucking glad I did. You're talented brother, thank you for your music
I'm still riding the high from this show man. Your music has gotten me through some rough shit, and at times it was the only thing I had to get me through that shit. Thank you for your art, please come back to vic soon🫶🏻
Dude this was my first time seeing you and I instantly fell in love with your lyrics and your passion. I have been a long time fan of Chris Webby and when I bought my tickets to see him I had no idea i'd be meeting an artist that means the same to me as he does. You are insanely talented, and getting to meet you was the highlight of my night. You're so real, thanks for not being an asshole🤝🏻
Excellent show in 3 sets. The first set was Reuben and the Dark. The 2nd was a short 3 song set with just Reuben doing songs from his new solo album. This all led up to the final set with the Bullhorn Singers joining Reuben and the Dark on stage and it was mesmerizing. The two different sounds merge seamlessly and create incredibly powerful and beautiful music together. It brought goosebumps to all and even tears to one of our group. It was very moving and heartfelt. Just see this!
Incredible concert! One of the best performances I have seen in many years. Great energy. Masterful musicianship. I wish we had had a bigger crowd for you, despite it being a Tuesday night! Everyone is still talking about your show.
Awesome show. They played quite a few NoMeansNo songs. Victims Family were very talented also.
What a show! These guys knocked it out of the park!
Here’s a sample review for Rick Estrin and the Nightcats:

Electrifying Blues: Rick Estrin and the Nightcats Steal the Show
Rick Estrin and the Nightcats delivered an unforgettable performance that proves why they are a staple in the blues scene. Estrin’s harmonica playing is nothing short of mesmerizing, blending technical brilliance with raw emotion. His charismatic stage presence and clever storytelling had the audience captivated from start to finish.
The band’s tight musicianship elevated the show to another level. Guitarist Kid Andersen brought a unique energy with his innovative riffs and solos, while Lorenzo Farrell and Derrick “D’Mar” Martin laid down an impeccably groovy rhythm section. Together, they created a sound that’s both classic blues and refreshingly modern.
What sets Rick Estrin and the Nightcats apart is their ability to weave humor and showmanship into their music. Estrin’s witty lyrics and playful interactions with the crowd made the night feel intimate and personal, as if we were part of a grand blues party.
Whether you’re a die-hard blues fan or new to the genre, Rick Estrin and the Nightcats are a must-see. Their lively performance and undeniable talent left everyone in the room smiling and stomping their feet.
Excellent show, very funny! Only complaint would be setting, as the bar was a little overcrowded and it felt like there weren't really any good seats. But besides that, almost perfect!
Great Show. Unleash the Archers have come a long way and are deliverying a high calibre show. Their musicianship is outstanding and live a show performance is great. It looks like they need a bigger stage and a longer time allowance for them to grow. Would love to see Cleanse the bloodlines live again! Looking forward to the next show in Victoria!
The band was in top shape, and the new album is good. The new album does not hit on the first listen like the previous three; it takes a few spins to understand it and I am glad I had the LP before the show. I came from Seattle; I hope to see them again in my area on a bigger tour soon.
I knocked a star because the house sound was only OK. It was too loud and too bright on a PA that was too small for the situation and was basically distorting. Clearly, the house engineer and the band had not worked together before, as a verbal adjustment had to be made during the set. I learned later that the club is really a dance club, which explains everything. There was also some jostling around for folks to find a clear view of the stage. Even for me, and I am relatively tall. Again, this is explained because a dance club is not really configured for this kind of visibility.
Still, this is one of my favorite bands and they are awesome. I realize that keeping a concert venue financially viable is dicey, so I am still glad this venue is open and hosting this event even if not perfectly configured.
Truly one of the very Best Live Blues Musicians you will ever see!
Do not miss the opportunity to experience live Blues from one of the most talented Guitarist of our time!
Until the next time!
Absolutely LOVED this show - Dominique was inspirational, thought-provoking, entertaining, and such a joy to listen to. Very impressed by her fellow musicians as well. Really enjoyed the venue also, although from the website it wasn't clear that we were not able to order food ( we were thinking we would!! - so ended up heading across the street for take out). Seating and sound great. Would happily return for another concert (after having eaten!! :) Thanks, VJS, for bringing this amazing show to town!
Was ok, I only went because of the new song I heard on the radio and they didn't play it.
MINDBLOWING and AMAZING show. Stellar performers. Can’t wait for next time.
One of the best bands in Canada, always such a treat when they come play a show! Vox Rea were absolutely fabulous as well, was my introduction to the band and will be watching for them in the future as well!
Absolutely love them! Sixth time seeing them live just in the last year. They are all so tight. Never the same and always a great vibe. The sweet sound of Liam’s voice taking us on a visual journey through the lyrics. Can’t wait for next new release!!!😎🥰
Lots of fun, great music, great voices, amazing songwriting. What a good time!
