Groton Hill Music Center

Loved Los Lobos, still after all these decades but was very disappointed w/ the sound quality despite the beautiful venue being a State of the art, acoustically engineered venue like no other. Vocals were all muddied and the guitars were less than clear. The issue seems to have been a combination of being located in the front row and the band being particularly louder than most that preform there. I believe it was due mostly to my location in the front row as other friends were 2 rows back ( C ) and said it was the best sound ever & we've attended more shows than we can remember. I will go back but not in the front row. That said if you can improve on that, great! ✌🏼

I love Kitty and would never leave a bad review. She was limited to kind of slow, bluesy songs given that it was just Kathleen and an accompanist on guitar. So, songs like Six O'clock News didn't rock like I'd wish. That said, Kitty's extraordinary voice and stage presence was worth every penny. I just wished she would have played longer.

Outstanding Venue, Outstanding Guests, Outstanding Band, and Chris Botti was at his best. The 2 hours flew by. Thoroughly enjoyable!!!

As always, Amy Helm's shows are extraordinary. Her band was amazing. The Groton Hill Music Center is a magnificent feat of architecture and a joy to experience!

Loved Nate Smith, incredible musicianship and compositions. My complaint was the sound quality. There seemed to be a significant issue with the bass sound, incredibly muddy and boomy. To the point where it masked not only the bass playing but also at times the keyboard and intricate drum playing.

Always an incredible show with a personable, entertaining and musically fun group! This is how bluegrass is meant to be played!

Just a great show....class act by both performers and the fiddle/violinist was spectacular Story tellers par excellance!

Sierra is an exceptionally gifted and versatile musician. The performance was fantastic. I first saw her play when she was a teenager and have been a fan ever since. It was nice to see her play live again.

I saw this show Friday night, Harper O'Neil with help from her guitarist held her voice very well despite being hindered with a head cold. She is indeed a dedicated professional musician. Her songs and stories have a magnetic attraction that few artists have or achieve in a lifetime trying. Her voice captivated me to listen to her songs ( that I didn't know) and pay close attention to her lyrics unlike any artist that I can remember before. Being in that beautiful setting did not hurt only enhanced the experience. thank you for he effort Harper, you a certainly a star with a beautiful voice, I do believe these sentiments we're shared by the words of Molly Tuttle on stage. Not just thanking her for opening the show, but genuine appreciation from a genuine artist. enough said, john m overall rating 5/5

Spectacular! She bravely played new music. The songs were lovely and the strumming was stellar - esp with her amazing 1 man band David Pulkingham. The acoustics in this concert hall are pin drop perfect! Wonderful place to see live music - will return.

Rufus is always truly amazing, this series of shows " retro- spective" featuring mostly his best loved iconic songs is a special treat. Voice perfect, resounding, piano and guitar superlative. Melodies and lyrics heartfelt and soaring. In this absolutely amazing Groton Hill Music Center venue, with a top-flight piano, Rufus' sound was out if this world. The architecture, sound, lighting , quality of seating, and alternating offset rising rows of seats for optimum viewing, makes Groton one of the best venues I've ever attended, in my 60 years of thousands of shows. A perfect musical experience.

This one was sold out so I attended at the Narrows Center in Fall River. The concert could not have been better. I even got my picture taken with Sierra Hill. Would like to see this concert again.

I was not familiar with Lori McKenna until a friend of mine introduced me to her music. After seeing her live, I got her new CD and can’t wait to see her again!

Excellent Show! Extremally talented artist in a beautiful intimate venue. Dan interacted with the audience throughout and I had the pleasure of meeting him after the show. Very little material from the Union Station era, but solo work is solid and very enjoyable. Gaven Largent accompanied him on Dobro and acoustic guitar throughout the show and he is an incredible talent. Very happy I decided to attend.

Bill always puts on an enjoyable show....the Groten Hill venue is beautiful; can't wait for the other half to open.

I felt like I was watching a legend. His playing seems to perfectly reflect his personality.
