What fans are saying
WEW was incredible in Providence!
As he seems to do lately, he opened with Lift my Jug(Song for Hub Cale).. and went on to play selections from throughout his catalog. Including old classics like Dry .. Porchlight..Diggin My Grave..Hard Times and Don't Need It...Johnny Law and Old Devils.. took some requests from the crowd including Mutiny and a played a bunch of new tunes from Silenty. The Mind Breaks..including Break Even..Bunker Built For Two
I am writing this review a couple of days later and I still have the glow in the energy from the show. I hope that he will return to Providence ASAP
Askew is a beautiful venue. The crowd seem to be a little on the Hipster side and in the beginning there were way too many chatterboxes at the bar.. almost to the point that they were louder than William at times. So I decided to be as loud as I could to help drown them out
