EMM is INCREDIBLE!! It is only a matter of time until she is selling out massive venues! There is so much talent in this girl it’s ICONIC!
It was great to see one of my favorite bands in such an intimate venue. They played a sweeping blend of tracks from their catalog that now spans ten studio albums over more than two decades. I had never been to the Elks Temple before, but I would happily go back.
Good times in a nice venue. Standing room only, the acoustics were good and lots of room for a crowd over 1000 I'm guessing. The show opened with a KISS cover band promptly at 8p. After a brief instrument change, Hysteria came on and sounded great. The played all of the hits and sounded great. I'd go again, definitely!
No wait at the Bar was also great!
These guys knocked it out of the park last night! Talented fellas playing beautiful, fun, often poignant songs with unending passion. Engaged with the audience throughout the show, and what a show it was! Our group was completely impressed with this band from the village of Seward Alaska. Kyle - it was very hard to take my eyes off you! What a Showman!! Tyson’s voice compels you to listen close to the words, and his amazing guitar playing filled in perfectly with the keys and the saxophone. Backbone of the band, bass player and drummer were so tight, they didn’t miss a beat! Driving beat from the constantly moving sax player and then singing like he was telling everyone a great story and using the entire stage, knowing exactly where everyone was, so much fun to watch!. Definitely going to see them again and again!!
You are genuinely hilarious! We can't wait to see another show of yours! Looking forward to seeing you possibly in Kalama or Longview. We'll bring along our friend with the awesome beard too!
I love the Spanish Ballroom. Great venue! Petty Theft was outstanding. They really sounded like Tom Petty and played a nice long set complete with an encore. A++
The Death Valley Girls were one of four bands performing at McMennamin's famous Sabertooth Festival tour last night, and they were not the headline act. But they were easily the best band to perform. Awesome chemistry between the artists made for a fun and memorable experience. Such powerful voices for the rocking world!
I recently attended the Hunter Hayes Flying Solo Tour at the Spanish Ballroom in Tacoma, and I have to say it was an incredible experience. From start to finish, the concert was filled with electrifying energy and unforgettable moments.
Hunter Hayes is not only an incredibly talented musician, but he also knows how to engage with his audience. His stage presence was captivating, and he had the crowd singing and dancing along to every song. How he effortlessly played multiple instruments throughout the night showcased his musical prowess.
The Spanish Ballroom in Tacoma was the perfect venue for this concert. The intimate setting allowed for a more personal and immersive experience. The sound quality was impressive.
One of the night's highlights was when Hunter Hayes performed some of his biggest hits, such as "Wanted" and "I Want Crazy." The crowd went wild, and the energy in the room was infectious. It was indeed a moment I'll never forget.
Overall, the Hunter Hayes Flying Solo Tour at the Spanish Ballroom in Tacoma was a phenomenal concert experience. Hunter Hayes delivered an incredible performance, and the venue provided the perfect atmosphere. I would highly recommend catching Hunter Hayes on tour if you can.
Fantastic music by fantastic musicians. And the Spanish Ballroom at McMenamins Elks Temple is a great old showroom. Very cool place/venue.
4th time I've seen the band this year. Will see them every time they are in the greater Seattle area.
I ran into Donavan at a thrift store and was grateful for the opportunity to meet him. He is very gracious and humble. As far as the show goes, he only sang a couple of his hit songs and Devon Allman lead 90%. Don't get me wrong, Allman is a stud and is a great performer but honestly, I paid to see Donavon. Nonetheless, I am grateful to have seen Donavon and his band and will definitely go again.
He was also so gracious that he invited the guy who opened for him to play rhythm guitar and crank out some ripping solos.
The Spanish Ballroom is a great venue. Highly recommend the visit.
This is the second time I’ve had the chance to see Blind Channel. These boys know how to hype a crowd and own a room. Can not wait to see them again.
Great performance. Lame crowd. The band played their heaviest and put in so much energy to get the crowd moving. Sadly, the soggy stoned Seattlites couldn't start 1 pit for this international legend. Disrespectful.
Lacuna Coil was the band that got me into The Birthday Massacre (I had a Lacuna Coil station set on Pandora back in the day and "Red Stars" by TBM came up on it and I was hooked on TBM ever since). So being here to see both bands perform at the same concert was an amazing experience for me. TBM was fun to see on stage because you can tell they love what they do, they love their fans and they love to have fun with each other. LC had a unique stage performance like they were driving force behind a stage play. Awesome performances by both bands! In fact the other two opening bands Edge of Paradise and Blind Channel were also on point and had great performances. All the bands in this show... ROCKED!
What an amazing experience to be here to see two of my favorite bands play in the same show. Thanks for teaming up!
I did pay extra for VIP with both TBM and LC so meeting the bands before the show was another fun experience.
I have been wanting to see Lacuna Coil live for over twenty years, so this show was a bit of a bucket list show for me. The Spanish Ballroom is a gorgeous venue with amazing sound. Everyone at McMenamins was wonderful. And Lacuna Coil put on an outstanding show! I would love to see another show at the Spanish Ballroom, and can't recommend seeing Lacuna Coil live highly enough!
A great indoor event! Fantastic sound by Lacuna Coil, Blind Channel, The Birthday Massacre and Edge of Paradise. Edge of paradise was top notch at this event!
Most incredible venue I've ever been to! Incredibly dialed show, the band KILLED it!! If you're considering going to a Whitney Morgan show.... do not hesitate!! Get your tickets. Worth every second and every penny!!
I attended with my son and daughter-in-law and we all really enjoyed the show. Switchback has a great sound and we enjoyed hearing all the classic rock and selections from other genres as well. So much talent! We had a lot of fun dancing and singing along and will definitely be looking forward to attending future shows.
What a great band! I cannot believe they are not more well known, but what a treat to see such a fantastic band in a small venue. Steve Kilbey’s voice is still so beautiful, his banter was hilarious, and the band sounded phenomenal. Can’t wait to see them again!
I’ve seen the Church many times and this will be my 5th time. They are such a good life band, and I recommend anyone to go see them. Even though I’m seeing the same band experience has been different every time. As for this particular show, the band was really tight they sounded great and the venue they play that was a great place for this band. They played a lot of the new album but also put in the favorites. This was a special time because the church was the very first band me and my husband saw back in the 90s when we were first dating. This time around we brought my 15-year-old son to come see him and he love them as well.
I came to see other musicians and discovered Brian. His performance was engaging, fun, sincere, thoughtful and delicious! The venue is super cool, a must see with amazing murals in a historic building. Thank you Brian for your superb poetry to music. I can't believe you needed a Phd. to get that good. I hope it brings you as much reward as listening to your music brings to me.
