Fantastic! Was able to sit in the front row & Sue was not even on a raised stage. Was mesmerized by her finger work on her guitars. I've never had the pleasure of watching a musician play a guitar so up close. I am not the least bit musically inclined, so it was a real joy to be able to watch a master at work. A very intimate stage & theatre setting. It was like having Sue & her band perform in someone's home. I especially liked Sue's stories & songs on her acoustic guitar when it was just her voice & the guitar notes. The only dislike I have of "modern" music is how loud the instruments are played. I understand that the amplified music is powerful, but for such a small venue, I think it would have worked just as well at half the sound volume. Especially when Sue sings her songs ... I can never make out her words over the music. If it's just the incredible string of notes & drum beats & guitar strums that she & her band put together seamlessly, the higher volume is fine. But when it comes to song parts, I'd love to hear more of Sue's voice & words & less of the instruments at full volume. But I just turned 65, so what can I say? I'm an old, curmudgeonly senior citizen now!! LOL I've only seen Sue perform once before and that was several years ago in a local pub in Red Deer & she was amazing then & still remains a truly gifted female guitarist, singer, song-writer & bluesy gal!! A true professional artist! I do not envy her travels on the road, though. That cannot be a lot of fun ... flying here, flying there, sitting in airports & hotel rooms & being away from her home in Austin. But I guess that is how musicians make their way in the world & pay the bills & become famous, so I wish her continued success. If her tours do not take her away from home for too long at a time, I suppose it can be a bit exciting. And she obviously loves her guitar, her music & her fans to allow her to continue to be creative & entertaining. Loved the show, love Sue!

Very bluesy show, just like I like. Sue is a seasoned performer with a great, different guitar style, very "Texas". Very much enjoyed show, great value. She mixed with fans after the show, very cool.
