The Crane Wives performed amazingly, as usual, and the crowd interaction between songs was great! They even took an audience suggestion for one of their encore songs, which they said they normally don’t do, because the person had made a sign requesting a specific song. The energy throughout the set was amazing, and the lighting design was PHENOMENAL, including their graphics.
My one critique is that the sound levels were very treble-heavy and the backing vocals were hard to hear, at least from my spot a good ways left of center and close to the barrier.
KK,s PRIEST tore the roof off w/ Tim RIPPER Owen's impressively securing the JP standards above and beyond expectations! KK Downing and the rest of the band ( talking about you sir drummer) knocking heads left & right front to back headbanging from Hell!
I'm sorry I was not going into this show with as much interest in ACCEPT as they truly, honestly, and without question should have received from me.
I was unshamefully impressed with ACCEPT!
They blew away any of my preconceived notions of being an ok, cool band from Europe. They fn kicked me in my face! Badass af!
Both bands were amazing and had a superb stage performance and vibe. They really brought the energy. The only downside was that GA was not allotted enough room behind the seating area and had to gather to the right by the bar. Seemed a little unnecessary had they removed a couple rows of seating. But $22 valet and $5 pizza after made the venue better. Just wouldn’t recommend GA if there’s ever seating too
I was looking for shows on Ticketmaster (or similar vendor?) & I remembered the band name from a cool music video I saw while scrolling on YouTube (Still feel.). I’d never listened to anymore of their music but I figured they’d probably be entertaining so I bought a ticket! It was my first time at Tannahill’s (Great Local Venue), and I was blown away. I go to dozens of concerts and a handful a major festivals every year and this was one of my top shows of the year. I believe the show was sometime in Oct. & by the time my Apple Wrapped came around Half•Alive was my #3 listened to artist of the year & Conditions of a Punk was the #1 most played album of the year. I’m looking forward to the new music & the next tour!
Fucking AWESOMENESS in person!!
Nick, Mark, Jake, and Nick were so friendly at the merch table before and after their set. Nick R is truly cool to talk with. The music was incredible- Jake is like rhythmicly hyperactive on percussion - there are a million beats but you can clearly hear each one and they all fit perfect. Voices were great, playing was great, songs were great! The only two things I wished were for them to play longer and play “smash the mirror”! They should close with that every show in my opinion because it is such a fabulous song. Thanks for sharing the Apple Crown Royal with me, for being so approachable, and for a fantastic show. Love you guys - please come back to the DFW soon!
Bilmuri is the best band to go see live. Not for any crazy production, but for genuinely incredible vibes, well-performed set lists full of light hearted fun, with great sound quality and an overall amazing entertainment experience. I’m so happy I’ve followed Johnny and friends all these years, their continued success and growth is such a joy and an inspiration.
AWESOME SHOW!! I had a great time! Super stoked they covered big Jet Plane and yellow on top of KM and Freaks. Didn’t arrive on time to make it to the front but there’s always next time. Loved to finally be able to get a tour stop here in Ft. Worth!!!
Super fun show. Big fan for a long time, first time to see them live. Really worth it. Tannahill's rocks, by the way, would totally see another show at that venue. Sound and not price gauging at all for a live venue.
Tab put on a great show as usual. He seems to keep getting better.
I recommend not sitting in the first 10 rows at Tannahill's tavern. If you sit any closer the vocals and lead guitar are muddy sounding. They need to aim the arrays lower or install some front fills.
49 Winchester is a class act and they always bring a barn burner. Tannahills has one of the best sound systems in the stockyards and consistently brings solid acts to the Fort Worth stockyards. They’re really doing a great job to support the Fort Worth music scene.
Great show and venue. Haven’t seen these guys for a few years (5-6 times total starting with the original group members) and they never fail to entertain. The playlists seem to be more toward the traditional ethnic sounds they obviously love doing with their old school hits sprinkled in for the “early adopters” and it it new, refreshing, and just the best music being performed by musicians who love their occupations. And speaking Spanish is not a requirement to have an exceptional concert experience. It was uplifting and fun and we won’t be waiting years to see them again.
he was awesome as always! Such an incredible singer and I am always amazed at his musicality! His skill on so many instruments is so fun to watch and his shows always are a blast! Come back sooon!
Incredible show!
Been a fan of half•alive ever since I stumbled across “Now, Not yet” at the start of the pandemic and I was instantly hooked from there.
Three years later and I finally got to see one of my favorite bands play in person and it was everything that I had hoped it would be. The presentation, the performances, the set list, all of it comes together to create a memorable live experience that’s overflowing with creativity, talent, and that raw half•alive charm that we fans have come to know and love.
they might be called half•alive. but at their concert we were FULLY alive 💃 interacted with the audience, opened the show with a shadow performance, and was basically the most Theatre concert i have ever seen and probably will ever see. not so much a “concert” as an ✨ EXPERIENCE ✨
The concert was excellent. Getting to & getting parked at the venue was a breeze. We chose valet. The seating was a little snug & not very comfortable, sat on row D, four rows from the stage. We understand that Tannehill’s has just started to provide seating for their concerts, hoping they get spacing & comfort issues worked out. It was a nice venue.
After a long tour for a newer artists Jaden, along with his crew and opened, did NOT disappoint. They put their love of music on the stage for all of the audience to share and it was everything and more! The venue had a super sweet security guard named Aaron I believe that would help those around with water, correction behavior, etc. I had a great time and really enjoyed the event, venue, and of course the performers!
The Mavericks performance was perfection as always. However, the venue was awful. Standing room does NOT work! Mavericks fans are an older group. The options for upstairs seating were ridiculously expensive and not advertised. I had to email multiple times just to get the pricing information and then to find out that we needed 4 people to ALL pay that exorbitant price. Surely you realize that when there is a crowd standing shoulder to shoulder there are going to be problems. If you need to leave your place to go to the restroom or buy a drink, people will not let you go back to your place. That’s how fights start! It seems you could sell more drinks if people felt free to come and go from their SEAT! Fort Worth needed a good live music venue and this is NOT it!
Wished they played more of their new album. Their tour is named spinning the truth around. Justin only sang 3 songs off the new album which is a masterpiece. Come on guys sing next time around sing more songs off the new album.
Spoon is such an awesome band. I don’t know why they’re not selling out huge venues, but I’m glad I was able to see them in such an intimate venue. The bar staff were friendly and quick. The process getting in was flawless, as well.
