The Dallas Slipknot show last night was absolutely unstoppable! Their 25th Anniversary Show brought us back to the start and reminded us just how deep the Slipknot roots are and why they have such a dedicated following. The emotions ran high and deep between band & crowd. Maggots are one of a kind and the pulse is strong!
Vended was energy, angst and above all an explosion of pure voltage! I was so impressed by their show, like they have been doing this for years. Griffin is the ultimate front man and he owns it. He’s definitely his own man but the genes are strong with this one. Vended will go far!
Saw them the last three years in a row and they were awesome as always. Brad Arnold told the crowd that 5 minutes before the show he was informed that his dog just died and got choked up. It was a gut punch for us as well, but it didn't affect his performance. Although he has had years of fame, he still comes off as a regular guy, the kind you could kick back and have a beer with even if you're a nobody like me.
I will see this band every time they come to town. This was my second time seeing Imagine Dragons in Dallas, and the guys give us a family friendly night with great tunes, tons of confetti, lots of kiddos, and well behaved adults.
In the down side, the traffic getting out of Dos Equis was a mess. No encore so everyone left at the same time. With a sellout crowd, you can only imagine the congestion. Needed more people in the parking lot directing people out to the main road!
Well, Soul Asylum must start RIGHT on time! They were already done & off the stage before we got in! which SUCKS! Been wanting to see them for 30 years!! They need to start putting on tix gate time and actual show time! They also need to acct for rain, TX drivers can't drive in rain!
LIVE was pretty good (and I LOVE this band!!) I guess maybe I miss the days when bands had SOME kind of stage show? Ed is still a great singer that has barely dimished at all! The band is good & tight. STP, what a band, even without Scott, they are 3/4 of an amazing thing! Gutt is no slouch, he nails it without trying to 'be' Scott, yet still sounding enough like him that the songs sound like the songs we all love!
I had the best time ever! Staff were nice, venue was good, and Niall was simply AMAZING! He knows how to put on a great show. I like that the stage was more raised than other venues cuz that means more people got to see the artist compared to other places. I wish there were more fans under the roofed part bc it was incredible hot last night and I literally sweated my makeup off. But still 100/10! I would see Niall again anywhere!
Fantastic upgrade to the fifth row. Entire band was perfect. Played their biggest hits with a few new ones thrown in. It was an Older crowd but we were on our feet for much of the concert.
It’s a shame that we book these senior acts in the outdoor oven that is North Texas in the summer. More fans on the audience would be been a plus.
This concert was a fever dream. Me and my best friend had tickets for the 2nd section and set of seats, and we happened to be the seats right next to the mini stage that he surprised the tour with to be out in the middle of the crowd for 3 of his songs! I could have reached out and touched him. Hands down the best concert and best seats possible. 10/10 recommend living your dreams!!
I’ve been a fan since Hootie & the Blowfish’s first record. They have been on my bucket list and am so happy that I finally got to cross this one off. The band did not disappoint. If they tour again next year I will be purchasing tickets. This was a 3 generation attendance for me and my husband. My daughter grew up listening to the guys and we were able to share with my granddaughter.
If you can get tickets I highly recommend you see the show.
First time to finally get to see Foo Fighters and it was more than I expected. The group took the stage at 8pm and didn’t stop until 10:45pm. We even got down into the pit for an hour. The weather was beautiful. the crowd well behaved. And Dave Grohl is a master front man.
We will be first in line next time they return.
I was surprised by Ministry being an opening act! I love them and had never seen them live before. It was so awesome. Alice Copper was so fun and sounded amazing. His guitarists were really rocking. Rob Zombie was great as usual but his set felt short and liked ended sudd. Unfortunately Alice and Rob didn’t do a song together. But a great show just the same.
Was my first time seeing Sam Hunt and it was the night of my life he performed with Brett Young and Lily Rose and they all were so amazing! I’ve always loved Sam Hunt’s music and his songs have helped me through hard times in my life. It was amazing to finally see him live and it’s a night I will never forget. Dos Equis Pavillion is spacious and really nice and clean and dripping in sweat was totally worth it just to see Sam Hunt.
This show was amazing! I've seen them before, but not a complete set, obviously! The entertainment for their show actually began as soon as the previous band went off stage. Interactive audience cams, music, a big guy in a gorilla mask, with a T-shirt gun...good times. The band sound as great as ever!! Dexter and Noodle talk with the audience quite a bit, and put so much energy into their performances, it's infectious. I was so happy to take my 14 year old son, and see how much he enjoyed the whole show. We had so much fun, and it's definitely a memory we'll talk about forever.
My subtraction of stars is not anything to do with the band necessarily. I’d never been to this venue before and I thought the sound was terrible. We were in section 204 just left of center while facing the stage and row C which was close to the center aisle. Usually this is far enough back and close enough to the center to even the sound out a little bit and hear the vocals, but that wasn’t the case here. The guy from the Rival Sons has a strong rock voice that projects and you could barely make out any lyrics. I thought maybe the lead band was messing with the sound of the opening acts on purpose, like I’ve heard has been done for years, but it wasn’t much better for Interpol or The Smashing Pumpkins. If I didn’t know the song already, I couldn’t make out much of the lyrics. The guitar was not a clean sound either. I get that it’s a rock concert…but everything overall sounded muddy, and not in a good effects pedal way.
Loverboy sounded great. Though they are much older than when I used to listen to them nonstop, the instruments and the voices have stood the test of time. Dos Equis Pavilion is one of my favorite venues to attend a concert. I like the ability to purchase a seat under cover and then if the weather is not bad or when the sun goes down to go out to the lawn and enjoy the concert under the stars on the grass. I could not have asked for a better experience.
My first time seeing Eric and i want to tell you that it was one of the Best concerts i have seen in a very long Time. This Man sings with Heart and Soul. Next time i will pay the extra to set up Front. Never change my Brother. I was not even expecting Ray Wiley Hubberd to be there, Wow what a GREAT suprize. He is one of my Heros. I rate this show a 5+ Stares.
There were some sound issues from time to time but the artists themselves put on an excellent show. The only other problem was the opening band set up running a little longer than it was supposed to and they were cut short by the fire marshall during their performance. Other than that it is a nice venue with plentiful booths for food and libations. The seats area is nice and close and the pit area is not to big.
OMG!! Korn gets better every time they come here to Dallas! Such a great performance from the band. They are never boring. I go to sleep listening to their sweet music every night. at concerts they get me so riled up I like to head bang but yet at night they calm me down and i go to sleep. They are my all time favorite band, I switched from country to Korn and will never go back. Thank you Korn for helping me realize who I really am:-) The venue is good for such a huge gathering.
We brought friends with us for the UltraVIP experience and it did not disappoint! One couple we took knew OneRepublic music, but did not fully appreciate the talent of Ryan and the band until they experienced it with us up close and personal on the 5th row. They were blown away by all the songs Ryan has written by other artists, but also the musical talent of the entire band. Zach, Brian, Brent and the rest playing violins, the cello, of course the piano -- it was all such a great musical delight. NEEDTOBREATHE stands on their own. The other couple we invited were obsessed with them, and knew them over OR. They are so talented and deserve to be their own headliners.
The UltraVIP experience communication wasn't great, to be honest. We missed one email that detailed our need to get there uber early to fully engage in all that we paid for. It was impossible to get downtown that early, so we missed the private bar and drinks. We had to track down our swag bags, although when we did, we got to meet Elliott -- the nicest and most down to earth guy that travels with the band doing all things behind the scenes. He let us listen to a few songs that OR has not released yet...they weren't even full songs yet. That was super special. Thanks, Elliott! He really made up for missing that early engagement opportunity. The book you get as an UtraVIP is insane! It's hard bound and interactive as you scan pages, videos pop up and the pages come alive. What a collectible, and a way to get more insider scoop on OneRepublic.
What a memorable night. Well done!
Their live performance was truly incredible. It rained during the show but it didn’t bother me in the slightest. I was blown away by the production value of all of the performers on stage. Everything about the show was live!!! I had an absolute blast with my friends in the crowd. My friends and I cried multiple times during their set. 10/10 recommend. Do yourself a favor and buy a ticket!!
This was the best concert i’ve ever been to, definitely a 10/10. Love & Power tour is my first halsey concert (Manic would’ve been the first but got cancelled because of covid) this tour is mind blowing the energy never died the entire show, and during the discussion of heavy topics Halsey kept it real the whole time she didn’t sugar coat anything. I will for sure be attending more of their shows in the future :]
