Absolutely incredible live show performed with such electric enthusiasm and amazing showmanship. The light show was one of the best I have ever seen and the storytelling of all the projections behind the performance was immense.
I loved the extra flavour on the live versions of amazing songs both old and new and the light up piano/synth made you feel like you were part of the creation of the music. Couldn’t recommend enough!
Venue was great as always with amazing sound and great people!
I tried to get tickets for Saturday night because Friday night was glorious and I just didn’t want it to end!!
My all time favourite band who I’ve been lucky to see multiple times including at The Palace, Forum and Melbourne Town Hall.
Closing the show with Vad Hände Med Dem? was utterly fabulous.
Thank you so much!!
Wow Its like they didn't left for 9 years !!!! It was great to hear them back on stage live -
The new track "Giving up air" Its a massive one that will be almost as good as Sweet Disposition, the legendary track ...
also Lucky Dimes is a track that belong outside in the outdoors amazing beat
I think that their music belong in the outside stadiums not inside although Northcoat theatre is like intimacy live show ( i think the theatre soundman put out too much bass in the beginning show list of 3-4 tracks - and Dougy voice was lost a little bit in the beginning, but after they sorted out his mic and transmitter and he got his voice in the rhythm it was amazing
also the coordination with the guitars and the drummer, what a sound !!! Amazing
will be sure going to get some tickets to BTV festival outside
Or even they should have a concert with US "The Killers" in Day on the Green with 50, 000 or more !! I will sure buy a ticket - They surley become Australia treasure band !!!!
They are a killer band - The Temper trap is on a new level now with their new music out !!!!
Last note -I didnt eve mentioned that their musing can be remix in edm music festivals like Tomorrowland - hope to see and hear them next year 2026 in Tomorrowland australia
Super concert. My 12 and 9yo absolutely LOVED the whole experience and only wish they could have gained a signature for their little brother who didn’t come. As a parent I was super impressed by the respectfulness and engagement of both Connor and graham, loved how they got Banjo up on stage too and was amazed at how much energy they gave to everything. Thrilled we could be at their very first Australian gig and what a reception they received!!! Thank you for coming down under!!! A concert never to forget!
The shows were great but the sets were incredibly short. I saw them play In Love and Death in full about 10 years ago and they did another set of songs afterwards. They literally finish playing the album then left the stage.
Honestly, one of the best shows I’ve been to in a long time! Only thing I wish they did was play more from DTW. But that’s just me being selfish. 😅 Other than that. 10/10. Clean vocals. Great vibe. 🤙🏻
The bands were amazing! Would definitely see them again given the chance! Merch like everything these days has gone up in price (to buy a hoodie was the same price as the tickets). Drinks were reasonably priced, venue was pretty good apart from limited parking. All in all was an awesome night with Future Static, Memphis May Fire and Atreyu!
Top performance with a lots of great songs from their catalogue. The live experience was bit underwhelming because there was little to no engagement with the audience during or between songs. The gig was sold out also so personally couldn't move around much within the audience.
The Northcote theatre is an amazing venue for the senses. Great sound in a beautiful building. Warpaint were absolutely everything that I hoped they would be! Mesmerising vocals and an overall great show. I just wished they played longer!
Fantastic. Dead South's first Australian tour. So pleased we were able to go. Travelled all the way from Melbourne to see them play as they were sold out at home. Venue was packed. Group were amazing. Was like a large song along for much of it. What energetic and polished performers. It was such a good night. Best live music act I have seen in a very long time.
Great venue and CTD’s were better than I ever imagined. They’ve aged like fine wine and had a beautiful vibe about them. You could really feel the love and appreciation they have for each other on stage. And they didn’t over charge for their signed LPs.
Great afternoon with James Reyne & Band. Electric show with some acoustic songs. James can certainly still light up any room or venue he plays with some of the best memorable Aus rock songs written. I certainly would be happy to see James play here again in the future.
the show was great. we enjoyed the support act and were warmed up for the Rubens. They did a great balance of new and old songs. their performance was punchy and fun. I love the Northcote Theatre as a venue, good size, good acoustics and good location.
A really great band live, waited a long time to finally catch them live and they were fantastic. Highly recommend and can’t wait for them to come back to Australia. 😊🤘Also had the pleasure of meeting them too which was a bonus 😊
I saw her last October 2023 in Los Angeles at
"The Roxy". What a perfect night!
As I always say beecause, I truely mean it:
"Rickie Lee Jones" has the voice of an Angel...
Thank you Rickie for sharing your beautiful music to "The World"!
Outstanding performance! James Reyne hasn’t lost a thing. His singing and guitar as great as ever. The whole band has enormous energy and perfect chemistry. The crowd went off and singing at the top of their lungs. Just a brilliant show all round
Such a. Great show, James always outstanding and what a band! Josh Owen and his band as warm up act were amazing would definitely go to a gig of there’s . Venue had great atmosphere and we will definitely be returning to see another show in the not so distant future.
The show was awesome! LP is the greatest artist, her songs are very deep and she is giving a lot on the stage, everything. Her vocal is mesmerizing. Every performance is different, full of emotions and great music. You will never forget this vibe once you saw her live show. But be careful, once you attend her show you want more and more :-) 10/10
While I wasn’t directly impacted I did feel that those with limited mobility could have been better allocation. The venue was cool and I enjoyed going to a concert that was on a lower scale. I was able to enjoy the show from a great viewpoint and being short it’s fantastic.
