Phenomenal show! They were so so LOUD, they put on a hell of a show, and Taylor killed it! The tour was for the story so far, but I just went for Superheaven and it was money WELL SPENT. IF THEY'RE COMING TO YOUR CITY, AND YOU HAVE THE TIME, THEY ARE A MUST SEE!!!!
I love Chase Atlantic. Sadly, I couldn’t get vip to get a picture with them because the tickets were all sold out. I’m eleven, and Mitchel met my sister at the airport and took a photo with her, but I wasn’t a fan at that time and I was 10. If you have anyway to contact with them and let them read this, I would love that. I just wanted to say that I love you guys so much and you have changed the way I look at things and people. I have grown so much and changed my attitude towards everyone because I listened to your music! My phone number is 8303570338. I LOVE YALL SO MUCH! 🩷
Second time seeing Post Profit and both times they opened the concert like they were headlining. I know a lot of people skip out on opening acts and roll up later, but anybody that's doing that when Post Profit is opening is missing out. The opening act's performance can really ramp up the crowd vibe and that's exactly what they do. I will definitely try to catch them again the next time they come through.
Fantastic performance. Second time seeing Nothing More here in their hometown and they were even better this time. Loved that the crowd was full of all ages. There was even a parent- supervised mini mosh pit near the back that was started by some little girls. Two days later and I'm still trying to get my voice back from all the screaming and singing that I did during Post Profit, Set it Off, and Nothing More's performances. Not a From Ashes to New fan so I admit I used most of their performance time as a personal intermission. Great, super clean venue with an excellent sound system and acoustics. Drinks are expensive like most bigger venues, but the food court is cool. Parking cost was pretty much the same as other big venues in town, but was way easier to get out of after the concert compared to other venues in town.
Absolutely INCREDIBLE. All 3 bands were in top form, amazing crowd and the venue was top notch. Was the perfect match up of big venue show but small venue feel. 10/10 the line up couldn’t have been more perfect. The crowd was hyped - the pit was insane - can’t wait to go again!
We drove from Western Oklahoma to the show because it was the only one that hadn’t already sold out. The venue was amazing. The sound was phenomenal. We didn’t buy any merch because the line was super long. We got in it as soon as sleep theory finished, missed all of Invent Animate and the first two songs from The Plot in You before we just gave up. We still weren’t even close to the merch tables. Beartooth was 🔥. It was my first time seeing them and I was not disappointed.
BEARTOOTH was awesome as always but the VIP meet and greet felt like we were rushed. Was told I could get something signed when some lady who wasn’t even a part of VIP crew told me I couldn’t. VIP was also supposed to get early entry and we kind of did (we were the next room in) but they opened both doors at the same time so if you didn’t rush you would get beat by people who weren’t VIP. Had friends who weren’t VIP beat me to the barrier. I could be wrong but I thought there was a Q&A but there wasn’t. Could’ve just read that part wrong though. This venue is always like this though. Good sound quality but employees are rushed and that degrades the quality of service
No words, they were just insanely good. The openers knocked it out of the park and Motionless sent it past the stratosphere. I lost my voice halfway through the set and I just screamed with what little voice I had left. They are a must to see live. In my top 5 concert experiences, they hold 3 spots (because I’ve only seen them 3 times).
Behemoth was amazing!! I’ve seen them multiple times, but tonight was the best show I’ve ever seen them do. Blood spitting, hair flying, and just raw sound. I’m sorry but they took the stage!! It was the first time I’ve been to the Boeing Center at Tech Port. It is a beautiful state of the art facility with a very cold AC. I would definitely go back
Underoath was very good live.. vocals sounded amazing and their vibe was hype. The keyboard guy was so hype, he was really fun to watch! The venue was great as usual. We came as Romans was awesome as well.. really good live. The Ghost Inside's guitars and drums sounded great, but I couldn't understand the vocalist... was wishing for more singing and less screaming.
The event was great! Mercy Me was so comfortable with their audience. I enjoyed their ability to be personal with the audience. Some of the wording that appeared and accompanied the songs had misspellings in it. It needs to be reviewed.
The seating in the venue was very tight and uncomfortable. The production team tried to squeeze too many people into the space.
The venue is great - great sound - all seats feel close to the stage and great concessions.
MercyMe was amazing!! You must see them live - they are awesome! A fun concert with entertaining visual effects and their relaxed stage presence makes you feel like a friend! Taya and Micah Tyler were great too!! Both have incredible voices and dynamic stage presence - so happy we got to see them also. A moving night filled with revival!!
The venue is new so it is nice and clean. Currents was sooo awesome live. Their voices sound just as good in person as in the studio. The band was amazing and I would love to see them again! Love that the singer is also the screamer! He was so good.
The show was a hour late and she only did a hour show I came all the way from San Francisco for her to be on a hour and she only Perform 2 songs from her first album but over all it was a great show even though the sound System was messed up you couldn’t even hear what she was singing
Got to see my favorite band in this lovely new venue.. love the food court, but didn't like how the venue was pushing alcohol sales with the band backstory, but they probably don't understand or care, i get it they're trying to make money. I loved the assigned seating, so with my kids we didnt have to worry about crowd pushing. As far as the band goes, Blue October was amazing as always!!💙💙 They never EVER disappoint. The opening band Beatnik Bandits were great and full of energy! I hope they consider this venue again next time they are in town!
This was my first concert ever and none of the bands disappointed. I loved how interactive all of them were. I wish INK interacted more but over all they were great. I didn't know Atreyu was apart of the line up and they definitely got the crowd going for the rest of the bands. Black Veil Brides were my main reason to cone to this concert and were amazing even though Andy called the wrong song. He made up for it by playing it anyways because everyone wanted them to sing scarlet cross.
This was my 7th time seeing Judas Priest and the 50th Anniversary Tour was the best performance I have seen them perform ever. I have been watching a lot of live videos from this tour and there always seemed to be something off. Especially at times in the vocals. Not this past Tuesday night. I gave Rob grace for the first song as that is always a vocalists hardest part of the performance. Yet, Rob wasn’t too bad. A note or two weren’t stellar but again first song. The second song of the set blew me away. Riding on the Wind. A song I had not heard in a live setting since watching the US Festival on MTV which has always been my favorite heavy song of theirs because of the vocal performance which sounded like guitar pinch harmonics at the end of lines. We’re they there? No, but something better, note perfect belted shrieks and from there Halford never stood his ground nor gave ground but advanced and took ground and showed why he is the Metal God. On stage Right was guitar god Richie Faulkner. A guitarist ten years my junior who plays like the guitarists who influenced me as a player. Sheer pleasure to watch him play. He is the real deal guitar hero. A total package and perfect example of what would happen if you took all the heavy metal guitar gods salient points and combine those together and the result is better in all area than the ingredients which created it. To even top this is that he is an extremely humble man who absolutely adores his fans because he literally is a fan of the band he plays in himself. Maybe that is why you don’t constantly see him in magazines. He isn’t a Rock Star due to his personality. But the fact that he does open forum discussion sessions with Judas Priest fans on instagram on a regular basis is what makes him the penultimate rock star. One who likes to be accessible.
On stage left was Andy Sneap filling the gigantic shoes of a Mr. Glenn Tipton. Who by the way, was hand picked by Glenn himself to stand in his stead. Andy is a legend in his own right as recording engineer and producer of some metals best loved albums. Sneap is no slouch on guitar either. Tonight, he started off seeming like he was trying to ask acceptance from the fans on stage, but quickly turned into just going with it and having fun playing for Priest, interacting with the audience, as well as sharing the stage with legends.
Standing behind Sneap was Priest’s engine block(to use a automobile reference) Ian Hill. A musician who is “The” heavy metal bassist. He perfectly has done his job every time I have seen Judas Priest live. He is the foundation that anchors the drums to the guitars while providing the groove that the rest of the band must follow. He is just now the greyer and wiser looking man who is always in the same stage position just jamming out and holding it all together. Leaving center stage rear for the drum kit who upon it is Judas Priest’s artillery section Scott Travis. To describe this man is easiest done by saying that he is the combination of all previous drummers of the band, advance that combination a few generations while simultaneously drawing from modern styles of metal and their A list drummers and becoming the quintessential amalgamation of them all. The guy is a bad ass. Period. Who else could be a bette drummer for Priest at this stage? No one! Nothing more need to be did.
The set list was a perfect representation of a Judas Priest beat down. They didn’t come to San Antonio (one of the towns who initially broke Judas Priest in the US) to reminisce of old times with old friends. Judas Priest came to give us a reminder of just who they are with a base of their fans who have forgotten who we all were. The band came to kick our ass and yeah they did. Not one song was announced (Green Manalishi) and there were only quick pauses and moments of silence between songs for the band to catch their breath before the next round of this beat down began. I wished they would have played another hour or two, but that would have become redundant. It was a perfect show as it was. It was a reminder of who San Antonio was and that we had just had our ass kicked by JUDAS FUCKING PRIEST!
Blackie and the band were incredible to say the least every single show...they give it 1000% everytime. I was fortunate enough to go to multiple shows in Texas and one in Oklahoma and meet awesome people and made new friends along the way!
Really a dream come true! Even got to meet the man himself! And got his signature tattooed on!!
W.A.S.P. is back in the US so if they go to your town don't miss it!!!
Had such an ethereal experience meeting the legend Blackie Lawless himself! Never dreamed I'd get the chance to see much less meet him! Sounded beyond great live and he is such a humble and passionate guy. Looked very happy to see us and play for us here in Texas! 🤘
Blackie Lawless ruled the night and was in top form. The set gave the show a theatrical feel, although the lighting made it difficult to see Blackie singing at times. Great venue and a great crowd. Was packed but not sold out. Would have hoped for a better crowd showing in San Antonio. Show was definitely worth the wait!
