AWESOME!!! Venue great. Sound not too good due to regulations which is a pity as Spoegwolf should be enjoined with speakers blasting. Fantastic experience. We will be back. 🎉🎉🎉

The good: The show itself was excellent, the opening acts all did a really good job of carrying the vibe through the day and the Spoegwolf show was chaotic and energetic as always, and the crowd noise after all this time felt really good to hear again. The bad: Logistically the event was a MESS. The bar ran out of alcohol before the event was even halfway through, and also just incredibly slow. I missed an entire act standing in the bar queue for half an hour or more, just to get to the front and be told that they are out of alcohol. Imagine how much longer the queue would have been if they actually were serving people alcohol. If you aren't going to allow people to bring in their own booze, you definitely need to make sure that the bars are up to the task of supplying people in PRETORIA with enough brandy to last the day. Merch was in way too short supply as well, with no sizes above large for shirts. There was all this camera equipment recording for what I assume is an eventual DVD release, but it seems like they could have used this existing infrastructure to at least put screens and speakers at the bar area so you don't completely miss the show while waiting an hour for one beer. The venue was also clearly too small for the number of tickets sold, there was barely any space to sit. The control box was right up front in the center of the ground, blocking the view of a massive section of the already constrained space with their gazebos. Sound volume was limited by "municipal restrictions", which is understandable, but I don't understand why there weren't just more speaker columns placed near the back to allow the sound to carry further at the same volume. Look, I get it. It's been a long time since big shows like this and its going to be a learning experience to get back up to the quality of events we had before the pandemic. I just hope the event organizers do better next time.

Great show. Music was top notch. Awesome day out
