I was mesmerized by their playing the whole time and it was great. I wish they had sung some of the vocal versions from the new album but I guess all the haters had them a bit shy, With no opening act, the show was kinda short but it was a focused and pure experience of their musicianship. It loved every minute of it. The Echo Lounge had a very clean sound setup and the whole setup was very nice.
Blessings! I am so Glad & Grateful that the Wailers continue to carry the torch of their soul wisdom & loving truth in music form. A bucket list show. I was lucky enough to see two DJ sets over the summer in Seattle and Bellingham WA. Trifecta! Early access provided front and center front row. It was fun to hear that people had traveled in from around the US to see him. Excellent show. Highly recommend seeing Nick Murphy perform as Chet Faker. A top 5 musician for me.
This was the perfect venue for his music. It was such a vibe inside. The location was conveniently located off the highway. The staff was not very kind to all the members of my party, didn't like that. AJ's security team was amazing! They were all professional and polite. ! I look forward to the next time he comes to Dallas. I will be in the building. His music is absolutely amazing !!
We had an amazing time. The ambience was relaxing and gave a sense of warmth. The entire moment was captivating, and the ending was so enchanting. I hope that Mr. Ghent visit Texas again this year. I have followed as a true fan for over 2 years now and to finally Be up close and personal it was wonderful!!! Money and time well spent.
Music is truly healing for the soul.
This is one of the best times I’ve seen this band. I didn’t give 5 stars because I don’t think there are very many perfect sets but this was damn close. They were in a very ricking mood and it was a great way to spend my Friday. Please come back to Dallas BoH and please bring better merch…all I ask is for a plain black tshirt with either BoH or band of horses written on it!
Listen. This man and his gift, whew!! From start to finish he was PHENOMENAL! I had NO IDEA he could also sing. Smh! The vibe, the mood his aura sets, his confidence, his ability to draw you in… there is no way ANYONE that loves music should ever pass on an experience with him…because THAT’S exactly what he is, AN EXPERIENCE!! If he had 2 shows in Dallas, I would attended BOTH! I can’t wait to witness what God is about to do in his life, it will be mind-blowing! Lucky for me, I’ll be sure to always have a front row seat! He is THE VIBE! Support this man, brag about this man’s work, tell people how he’s healing your soul with his sound. Hands down the best concert I’ve ever attended. EVER!
Must see show- glad I did
The artist the music absolutely fabulous
The venue:
I bought VIP seating , my table wobbly, my chairs so uncomfortable, great news our server saw how uncomfortable I was and recommended the vip lounge, never made it, but found the 2nd level overlook experience was wonderful, no regrets.
The presentation of food: to each own(don't even get me started of the food )
VIP - a medium size , white disposable plate setting with silverware in white, black or gold(all disposable), 6 oz cups matching
Don't charge VIP pricing and cut the small stuff, little stuff matter.
Great security setting, knowing where to go as a vip was obsolete for first timers, it took a minute.
I will try other concerts in the future
FWIW, I only went because my daughter is a huge fan and I didn't want her to go by herself. But WOW--I was blown away. He was phenomenal as a performer--what an incredible show. And Shayfer James was a great opener (and encore closer) as well! Would definitely see them again. And the Echo Lounge was a cool venue--I didn't know it was mostly seated so we got GA tix, but would get the seats next time (I'm old and don't like standing for four hours :-)
I genuinely hate to say I didn’t know Patty PerShayla before this show. Lots of people make music and have dreams of making it big, but there’s a specific energy behind groups that are going to make it. Patty has been on repeat in my playlist since the concert and I can’t wait to see her again when she’s a touring main act of her own
shocked that I got to see them at a small venue which was awesome at how intimate it was. They will be coming back as an opening act later this year and we will be there! They were awesome and we as fans appreciate them not cancelling as they had all kinds of things go wrong before they got to Dallas.
It’s been 30+ years since I used to see these guys fairly often; it was a better show than I could imagine or remember. They’ve got far better equipment and a much more mature sound. Seem like they’ve kept in pretty good shape. At 72 Guy was remarkable on drums. Damn good time. You’ll be glad you went!
Was quite literally the best concert experience of my life. Malcolm and the band was amazing and I got the band to sign my shirt and poster. I am so glad I got to experience this. I’ll talk about it at my wedding, when I’m giving birth, and I want it to be spoke about at my funeral. I WENT TO MALCOM TODDS FIRST EVER CONCERT IN DALLAS. I LOVE MY LIFE.
Stephen's set was amazing! He opened for Peter McPoland so his set was short but it was amazing! The next time Stephen comes to Dallas I will be getting tickets in a heartbeat. the venue was nice but the staff did things last minute. You couldn't pay for parking until 5pm which was an hour before VIP people went inside, and they had VIP people check in at the box office at 5:45 which was in the middle of the VIP line, so those of us who were first in line had to as politely as possible make our way through the line so we could check in first. Then they would not let VIP check-in without the buyer's ID (so if you had a ticket transferred to you, you needed the people who originally bought the ticket's ID) but I think they fixed that pretty quickly. But other than the venue staff at the beginning, everything was awesome!!
Absolutely phenomenal. He sounds as good, if not better, in person as he does in recordings. The energy is incredible and he engages the crowd so much. He someone seems to make eye contact with everyone and it just magnified the experience. Will absolutely see him again if we have the opportunity. The venue was great and the crowd was very diverse.
The venue had a no cash policy which was not costomer friendly. The venue had a stage that was not big enough for the bands instruments. The merch was stationed at the bathroom entrance. This venue would rate a one star if any stars. The band played great and there was a big crowd response. Eliminate no cash policies. The quests were treated like oxen. The patrons were treated like people from another planet. The acoustics were horrible. Kudos to the lady behind me in line who gave a Stars jersey to the guitar player. I would not go to the Echo Room. I would wait for a better venue.
Stranglelove never disappoints. Their energy and commitment to creating a true Depeche Mode experience is always a pleasure to watch. Last Friday night was my *fifth* time to see the band but first time to visit The Echo Lounge. I must say I was impressed with the venue. It felt intimate but not confined. The staff was friendly and the service was quick.
I can enthusiastically recommend both Strangelove and The Echo Lounge!

(Un)holy s**t. I honestly didn't really know what to expect from a Twin Temple live show, but this was everything I could have hoped for and more. Alexandra and Zachary were so fun and interactive, and really drew me into their whole atmosphere. The energy was so positive and uplifting, even when they were being as weird and Satanic as humanly possible (this is meant as a compliment, trust me). This was an amazing show, I could not be more happy that I went
He is an amazing musician! His band & him are great performers.
The venue is fine; the VIP section is tricky because poles block the stage & people stand in front of you .
It felt safe & was clean
Parking is a bit tricky as the entrance isn’t on the off ramp but a side street
