Lucy's Lounge Pleasantville

Was a great evening of rock n roll, with Randy Jackson of Zebra (one of my all time favorite artists, from one of my all time favorite bands),,GOURD, a very young and talented jam band in the vein of Phish and REMEDY, a great hard rock act. All gave stellar performances. Randy Jackson, is still on top of his game almost 50 years later. I also wanted to point out, the delay getting in the main room of venue (noted by Ray), had nothing to do with either band before Randy It was a venue rule, as they were waiting on someone to open the register and set up. Either of those acts didn't have authority to hold the show up. Lucy's is a great place, but different kind of set up, as most of us are used to. They are good people, and getting it together, so it will only be better and smoother in the near future.

Randy played at his best! Outstanding! The venue however is different. With the third act holding us up from going into the main area for over 1.5 hours…because they felt so important??…Despite what they might think, making your fans wait forever does not help and nor does it help attract new fans. The venue has more managers than customers, all of which are doing close to nothing. I’ll look for better places to see Randy play even if it’s on Long Island.
