Wow! The venue was great atmosphere; relaxed. The seating on the floor was super tight though. I rubbed against the pregnant woman next to me constantly but we were all happy to see Norah.
Emily Kjng was amazing. She had so much energy and presence. She matched Norah’s style perfectly. Hope to see more of her. Smithsonian was her perfect companion.
Norah played a lot off her new album Visions which is a departure from her jazzy debut but still great Norah creativity and personality. Loved the band, the harmony, the choreography, the professionalism. These are consummate performers. They know what they are doing. Yay Norah. Come back soon
Demola didn’t disappoint. The concert was everything I expect from a Demola concert .I went to his concert last year at The House of Blues which was excellent but I really liked the 713 Music Hall very much. The talent he brought with him was very good and enjoyable. He had a fantastic DJ this time around that kept the crowd pumped and motivated. It was so much easier getting into the 713 Music Hall vs House of Blues . I definitely will be back next year to see Demola and I will return to the 713 Music Hall very soon as well . If he comes to your town I highly recommend you see his show because it will be unforgettable.
i have much fun at her concert it was my first time seeing her at her concert and i can’t wait to go to her concert again i love her and one day i am going to meet her in person bc she seems really nice person i can’t believe i went her concert myself i have a good. time to see her i been a fan of her since release you broke me first
The bands played really well, but Mastodon’s sound was off. There was too much distortion and volume from the lead guitar; a lot of the vocals were largely drowned out. It was surprising and disappointing that the sound was not corrected after the first song, as Mastodon (and most bands these days) typically have excellent sound people. I left the show early with ringing in my ears that is only starting to subside 24 hours later.
Oliver Tree is art this show was the greatest thing to ever happen to me. I recommend not missing this experience for anything in the world, oh your baby is about to born? Pass to go to this show, oh you’re going to your aunts funeral? Pass to go to this show, oh you’re working? Fuck your job go to this show. DONT MISS IT
Concert was really good!! Love PTV. The crowd was getting extra wild (being at the front felt like you couldn't breathe, and Vic had to stop and tell everyone to back up a few steps). I personally don't really like 713 that much, the entrance line wrapped all the way around the building through a parking lot and along several busy roads and the GA pit bars won't give you water for free (have to buy liquid death cans or "walk to the lobby" where they also weren't giving out water cups).
I LOVE YOU MARCELLUS KEVIN GATES BUT WHY WERE YOU SO LATE TO THE SHOW I FEEL YOU WAS HAVING AN EMOTIONAL DAY BECAUSE OF MAZI PASSING AND I JUST WANNA SAY IM SORRY FOR THAT LOSS DEATH IS SO HARD FOR ME BUT OVERALL I LOVE KEVIN’S PERFORMANCE I PRAY YOU COME BACK TO HOUSTON SOON BECAUSE I WILL BE IN THE STAGE AGAIN VIBING TO YOUR MUSIC
LOVE YOU IM SHANTERIA ANN PIERREAUGUSTE JOHNSON NICE TO MEET YOU
Awesome! I’ve been going through a very challenging time in life right now. Hearing the music, the words of encouragement, and seeing the heart of worship , TRUE WORSHIP unto Jesus gave me peace upon my hope for my circumstances. Love you all in Christ Jesus! Keep up the good work may the Lord bless continue to bless your music careers!
Probably one of the best concerts iv'e been to in a while, sucks to see him leave the stage and even orion. Its a dream you have to witness yourself to finally say you are a daniel caesar fan. I had one downside was with fans and cutting, happenes everywhere and always does happen but the venue operators said "no tolerance" but at the same time let who skipped slide as we told them who did and who didnt. I will never witness anything perfect as this concert, Loved it so much and forsure will go back sooner, he saved me and many other people !
This show was amazing honestly it was better than amazing it was a spiritual & ethereal experience. I wish I could see her again. This was my first time going to her concert but I've been a fan and appreciator of her music for years, since high school. I was in tears before as her set started because I couldn't believe I was there it was like a dream. I'm so greatful for this opportunity. I hope she had just as good of a time as I did, ik she does a lot of shows and is probably tired but appreciate her giving us an amazing show and vibing with us. I really hope she comes back one day.
This venue impresses me more every time I set foot in the door! A/C blasting! Drink and food lines short even though the event was sold out. Staff is always amazing! The sound is perfection. I don't have to wear my concert ear plugs that I normally always wear to shows. Exiting the venue is as smooth as butta! Last but not least...the BEATNIK BANDITS ARE AMAZING! So much personality and they put on an upbeat fun show every time!
As always, Alter Bridge was fantastic. Killer set list, and Myles, Mark, Brian, and Flip were tight, and are simply the finest musicians today. I also adore Mammoth WVH, who also put on a really great show. The opening act, PIstols at Dawn were new to me, but not bad. Also, shout out to the the staff and security at 713 Music Hall who were terrific during the entire show: they handed out cups of cold water to the entire standing room crowd throughout the show, were friendly and personable, and seemed to be really happy to welcome all of us there. I will definingly go to another show there.
Fresh off his B-Day, WVH and his awesome band sounded great in Hou, TX. They were excellent - was however hoping for an encore of "You'll Be the One" as in a few previous shows but it wasn't to be. The opening band Pistols at Dawn really rocked as well and had a really great energy and stage presence. All in all a great show.
New Order is one of my favorite bands of all time but I had never seen them live because I've heard that they were terrible in concert.
I was pleasantly surprised at the energy that Bernard Sumner displayed throughout the show. Much, much better than I had anticipated.
For a child of the 80s- this was a fantastic trip down memory lane and I'm so glad I went!
Band sounded awesome! Venue is a no for me. I’m short so I wasn’t able to even get a glimpse of the stage. This is my second time “seeing”a show here and I am not happy with the bottom floor at all. Line to get in which is fine and then another line once you get in? They check tickets when you come in, why do they have to check them again once you go in?
Buddy Guy was fantastic. His voice was strong, his guitar playing perfect, and his humor and banter with the audience was funny and authentic. He is an American treasure and definitely worth seeing on his farewell tour.
The opening acts were also excellent. Ally Venable has a great future in the blues - she has killer guitar skills and a strong and expressive voice. She has matured into a legitimate player and a potential icon for the next generation.
I've been wanting to see them for years and finally got the chance. FIR did not disappoint, they did not half assed any songs and even stopped midway to help someone in the crowd. After help arrived, Ronnie did apologize and restarted the song. Had to leave before PapaRoach but every band who did the Rockzilla Tour gave it their all 👏
Super fun jam off between Austin's Gary Clark Jr and Houston's Paul Wall.
Been wanting to see GCJ for some time so I took what I could get and was not disappointed. Exceptional guitarist and great supporting band.
Loved the respect shown by both musicians to each other and to all the great supporting folks / band members.
Place was beautiful and grungy feeling. They have their own tiny first come -first serve parking lot that you have to quickly download an app and use to lift the barrier allowing departure for 20 dollars. One weak mixed drink was 25 dollars and the inside of the venue is VERY BRISK! Even while dancing amidst dozens of people i didn't get a sweat worked up once.
Billy Strings in true Billy Strings fashion. My buddy called and gave me this comment in response to me asking about his concert experience , “it was out of this world. I was so happy and I just couldn’t stop smiling, quite honestly may be the best show I’ve ever seen.” Thank you for so much joy and happiness Billy!!!
