Majid Jordan are unbelievable live. Ridiculously talented performers. Majid’s vocals were phenomenal, even more powerful live, and Jordan’s beats and energy created an atmosphere that filled the entire venue. Their chemistry on stage was clear—Majid’s connection with the crowd felt real, while Jordan was fully in his element, adding layers to every track. The setlist kept us hooked with fan favorites and deeper cuts, making the whole show feel like an experience rather than just a performance. If you get the chance to see Majid Jordan live, don’t miss it. Venue was clean, and staff was friendly. Alex Lustig was an incredible opener, setting the perfect vibe with his ethereal beats and captivating soundscapes. His seamless transitions and atmospheric production drew the crowd in, creating an immersive experience that left everyone ready for the main act. If you have the chance to see them live, I highly recommend it.
I am a big fan, so you’ll have to factor that in, but I loved the show. They did a great job of balancing the new album with some classics over the 14 song set. I wish they had played longer, but every song they played was great.
I’d not been to The Factory, and it’s a great venue for a show. The sound was great and the crowd was the perfect size. Great energy without being jammed together so much that you can’t enjoy the music. I would definitely see another show there.
Absolutely amazing show in Dallas on 8/3. Did the VIP upgrade and it was well worth it too. AILD is my favorite band and their concerts match my appreciation for their music. Hard to say that about many bands. Their shows are #1 and they are #1 in my book. You won’t regret going to their concert. Even my friends who are not metalcore fans loved it!
This was a wonderful show! I was immediately transported back into the 1990s as soon as Tripping Daisy took the stage.
They performed the 'I am an Elastic Firecracker' album in full, and then came back out to do another set!
Thank you to everyone involved in making this show happen, it was an extremely joyous moment for so many people. You could definitely feel the love in the crowd 🙂
All the energy, innovation, and talent of ‘94 now with the wisdom, understanding and mature sensibility that 30 years brings. Spectacular! As great as they were, as an added bonus, there was teenage Atticus, son of a band member, who gave us one the most ethereal accompaniments on Trumpet I’ve encountered. The kid slithered through the bars with phrasing like a ghost from birdland. While the band was deeply satisfying, seeing the incorporation of young talent added another layer of greatness!!
80s bands are often hit or miss due to age and other health issues, the toll of a lifetime of substance abuse, if even the actual band, because every founding member has been replaced. Not at all the case with Mr. Big! Billy Sheehan and Paul Gilbert are still the bass and guitar masters we’ve known them to be for the past 40 years. I’ve been an Eric Martin fan since the early days of his career, pre-Mr.Big and his wit, humor , and his voice, are still on point. This was a great show, worth the money and venturing out in 20 degree weather for. The venue knew their audience and provided plenty of seating. I took my husband, who isn’t an 80s hair band fan, and he also enjoyed the show. It was a great night and the band brought their all to the audience!
I love Kesha, this is my 5th time seeing her in concert (I’ve been a fan since 2010). This was her opening night for the Only Love Tour so I’m sure they’ll eventually smooth out the first time jitters. The one thing that disappointed me was that there was no confetti or glitter cannons, which is what she’s known for. I found out that it was a venue issue so it’s not the tour’s fault, so I hope other concert goers get the full experience.
I attend a lot of concerts—that one easily hit my top 3. Teddy has such incredible talent and such a big heart. To see such a genuine person perform is a privilege. His band was on point, and his opener Matt Hansen is a new favorite. I kept telling myself no one is that good live…they HAD to be lip syncing. Nope. They’re THAT good. A MUST SEE if you haven’t yet
Fun show, intimate venue, great music and even great opener. I loved that they played hard and heavy in concert and still sounded great. I loved even more that they stayed out of politics. I absolutely hate it when musicians basically lure you into the venue with their music and then once you are in there they tell you that you suck and that they don't want you to listen to them.
Well done, NBT.
This was my first time seeing Alpha Wolf and After the Burial live! Also my first time at The Factory for any show whatsoever. The venue was amazing, very open and a lot more spacious than I originally thought it would be. The experience was amazing, the only issue I had was the parking! I am not in usually in Deep Elm so I am not used to it, so that's on me.
I Had a good time and the energy was really pumping. The only thing that made me give the experience an 8/10 was not enough control of drunk people pushing or the fact that people were trying to crowd surf from the back where a lot of people are trying to get AWAY from mosh pits and the crowd. On then that get there early and try to leave at a good time to beat traffic.
Incredible musicians! Huge fan. Awesome concert!
I would give 3 stars to the sound engineer or whoever is responsible to set the overall volume of the concert. The quality was great but it was way too loud!!
Downloaded a sound meter app for curiosity and the volume was at about 90dB. I'd be more pleasant to have the volume set to a volume that doesn't make your ears hurt.
The performers were amazing! This was not the right venue for this magnificent group, though. It was at or over capacity. Packed tight, it was difficult to see the stage at all, and yes, I've been there many times so I'm familiar with it. It took hours to get everyone in the doors, but Heilung was kind enough to wait over an hour to start so that everyone could get in. Well, there were some outside who didn't get in, because I saw them close the doors with people still out there, privacy due to capacity.
In the back of the crowd or on the edges, it felt disconnected from the entire experience because you just could not see. The vocals were amazing, though.
I think perhaps the personnel who book the venues for Heilung didn't anticipate the size of their fandom in this region. People came from all over Texas and the central part of the U.S.
It is my sincere hope that they return, and book a larger, theater style venue with better line of sight, such as Texans Trust Theater in Grand Prarie. Maybe something even larger, because by the time they return, I can only anticipate even more growth of their fanbase.
It was everything it should be that I didn’t know I wanted it to be. Aging like fine wine, Omar and Cedric gave the best return from a hiatus performance that they could have given! Glad to have been there for this new chapter in the Volta legacy, and with my son no less… They selected a perfect set list to encompass their catalogue that should have pleased new and old fans. And thank you to them for kicking it off in their home state! Que viva Los Mars Volta!
Incredible. Teri Gender Bender's stage presence and frenetic, ethereal tunes could not have been a more perfect opener. The boys were BACK, playing all the classics and conforming some of their new stuff to fit in perfectly with their past catalogue. Little disappointed they left out any tracks from Bedlam in Goliath (absolutely loved seeing them play Metatron live a looong time ago) BUT, with the stripped down instrumentation, the 90+ minute set that was basically non-stop, with Cedric happily ceding lyrics to a venue packed with fans finishing the song for him, it's hard to sincerely be disappointed in the slightest with this slow. One stupid nitpick-- the sound mixer did turn Cedric's vocals down a little too much at one point and we absolutely missed a fantastic belt from him, hahaha, but like I said. Nitpick, 5/5 still!
CUCO was outstanding. He is incredibly talented and kind. He stopped the show each time someone passed out and made sure we were hydrated, safe and happy. The Factory staff however was very slow and lazy to getting us water and help. We were packed like sardines with everyone on top of each other. Balcony would probably be a good idea if you’re going to the Factory. Besides that, CUCO is an absolutely must see!
I've been to every show since the they started touring, every show was great but this one they really stepped up the proDallas! And performance. Megan seems so much more comfortable on stage, she even made a couple of mistakes but handled it like a pro and she made it very endearing. Could go on and on, the show was amazing and hope they keep on this path. Can't wait to see what they create in future shows! Thank you for coming to dallas!
10/10 show poutyface was great, palaye was cool af but yungblud oh my god the greatest show i have ever been to i felt like i belonged in the crowd that night he is the most loving person ever i hope to catch him next time he is here in dallas because his energy i am being bias because ive been a fan since the first album but this was my first show of his i will be catching every show i can
i love u dom
Amazing! He sound great. He looked great, but my favorite part is how he interacts with his fans. As an older fan in my 40's, it is fantastic to see the family he has build. He is going to help so many people by being so accepting & kind to everyone.
The venue was awesome too. I 100% recommend the balcony seats, especially if you are like myself & too old for the mosh pits
Great energy from the band - you could tell they were having a good time. Luckily, I was in the balcony - it looked WAY too crowded and uncomfortable in GA. Certainly not safe in COVID times.
The sound was too loud, too much bass. Typically, I love it that way, but the system sounded muddled because of it. The vibrations throughout the place felt better than the overdriven sound.
Parking is near impossible near The Factory - I suggest parking someplace easy and safe within a few miles and taxi/rideshare to the venue.
