Strange Brew

It was everything I was hoping it to be. The staff at the door were lovely, the bouncer even checked if our sits were alright after. Fun support band. And Exploring Birdsong was incredible! The sound that this band makes is sublime, plus they are professional and super down to earth and kind!

Amazing and intimate show

You might think you know the 'I Sincerely Apologise....' album inside out but don't jump to conclusions - it's been completely re-imagined and upgraded for the 20th anniversary tour. It still has its original raw energy and honesty but the re-crafting takes it to places you might never expect. A stage-full of talent in the band with David kept the audience's attention for well over 90 minutes.

Great gig! Second time seeing this band. Fantastic vocals and wonderful sound overall! Recommend!

Great to finally see Lebanon Hanover! However the Strange Brew sound techs really let Larissa down for the first few songs, her mic was way quiet.

Jess Williamson is an excellent singer songwriter as well as Dana Gavanski. The two of them on the same line up is a must for music fans.

Singer-songwriter Marika Hackman performed a delightful 90 minutes of songs drawn from a decade of recordings, showcasing many numbers off her most recent album ‘Big Sigh’ which was launched earlier this year, her first new album for over three years. Marika played with a three piece band (drums, bass, guitar/ keyboard) that brought her unusual songs to life. The sell-out Strange Brew audience greeted each song with warmth and appreciation and hung on her every word. The evening opened with a nice set from Gia Ford and her band. Strange Brew is a good venue with a decent bar. Look forward to being back there soon.

Torres put on a great show, a mix of new album and classics. Between songs we got stories behind the songs and in the small venue it felt super intimate, highly recommend.
