Two Door was tight - no sloppiness. There was very little chit-chat with the audience once they started playing their set. They played for exactly 90 min, no encores due to it being an outdoor show with noise ordinances. The opener was meh.
Honestly, if they’re playing within a 2 hour drive of you, go see Squeeze. Chris’s & Glen’s voices are still as strong and perfectly blended as ever, Glen’s guitar chops are as strong as I’ve ever seen/heard, and Stephen Large’s keyboard work is over the top. You will not regret an evening with these guys.
This event was AWESOME.
Our group came as huge Cavetown fans who really liked Mother Mother, but left with the intention to listen to so much Meet Me @ The Altar. These bands were all phenomenal performers.
Cavetown was adorable, and Little Vice sounded incredible on the Amphitheater’s speakers.
Mother Mother had an amazing stage presence, and sounded incredible.
All in all, 10/10 enjoyed every second of it.
Dave Hidalgo 5 ripping songs! That’s what we got through before they pulled the plug on the show due to lightning storms.
Sorry, Austin! Hopefully we can make it up to you guys soon! Glad @lovecrimesclub and @badreligionband were still able to play! Thanks for braving the weather with us all evening! We’ll be back!👊🏼⚡️
One of the most incredible and surreal experiences of my life!!! Vampire Weekend never fails to put on a killer show. Honored to have been among the first live crowd to hear them play tracks off their new record - and during a once in a lifetime total eclipse too!!!!!
Pepe Aguilar concert was the best of all concerts I have attended! He is amazing and his band is awesome! Full of energy and he sings from the heart. I surprised my mom with tickets and the concert was on my actual birthday. We will most definitely attend more of his concerts! 😍❤️
the show was amazing - full of energy, she was flawless and the costumes remarkable. she gives the audience a great show whether you are a die hard fan of not she entertains. our seats were not great so if you’re at this venue, don’t sit in the seats to the left or right of stage. we missed 1/3 of seeing her on stage because the stage plot was behind the wall and there were no big screens up on the sides to see what we were missing. My friend was playing keys for her and I didn’t see her at all :(
Hi Lou, I'm Carolina I'm a BIG fan. I've known you my whole life. When you were in one direction I was born my b-day is Feb 16 so I guess I really have known you my whole life and I just wanted to say thank you. You, Harry, Liam, Niall, and Zayn really helped me through a lot of things. You know people say how can you love someone when they don't even know you I just say idk but i do. You and the boys saved my life without you I would not be here today....so thank you.
Kenny Loggins put on an amazing performance, he sounded wonderful! Such a fantastic show, I would definitely see him again if this wasn't his last tour he is truly the best yacht rock performer of his time. The venue was nice, the grounds and restrooms were clean. Drinks and food were way overpriced but I guess that's pretty much every venue.
I love yacht rock. I just wish they were able to play longer. I like Kenny as well but was mainly there to see yacht rock as it was their only visit to austin this year.
Nice venue but not in August and over 100 degree heat. Although I wish they’d don’t a better job of with the seating making it a little bit more like stadium seating where it row is slight higher as it goes away from the stage. Just really hard to see around peoples heads and hats.
Do an indoor venue if you’re going to come play in the summer in Austin.
Nonstop performance the whole time they were on stage. Band was great and it was awesome to hear them live. No real interaction with the audience.
Hated the venue (we paid for seats; general admission people kept coming up and standing in the aisle right next to us, talking and blocking our the walkway, and security/staff kept ignoring it including one employee who talked and joked with the GA folks the whole time).
Great Venue. Not really a bad seat to be had. Ridiculous drink prices though.
TTB just gets better and better with age as they evolve as a band. This show was #17 for me. I have seen shows from smaller theaters to large outdoor festivals since 2013. This show was probably a top 3. 19 songs were played that night. I am still waiting on some more of Sue's old stuff (Revolutionize Your Soul, True, Rock Me Right, You Got the Silver, etc) and less of other people's covers but never disappointed. I was with 3 other people and it was their first time seeing TTB. They assured me that it will not be their last. Pretty much sums it up - you cannot but enjoy yourself to outstanding musicianship when you attend a TTB concert.
The big time rush got me by Surprise and I Absolutely love the songs it was a blast and the turd song was funny made me laugh and I wish I could take a picture with Logan, Carlos, James, Kendall you guys made my night and I wish you guys could surprise my friend for his birthday
Nice new venue/space for Austin. Glad to see it though temps over 100 degrees are not fun for outdoor shows. It kind of killed the energy for me and seemingly for plenty of others. Sharon, Angel, Julien and Quinn all sounded great and added cute/funny comments throughout the evening. As with so many outdoor shows though, the evening lacked atmosphere. I enjoyed Angel’s last tour so much more. The lighting, wardrobe, setlist…all were better. With so many people on the bill last night, each set seemed way too short. There were songs I just knew Angel and Sharon would play…but they didn’t. I’m glad I went, and, again, everyone sounded wonderful…but I still felt that a little something special was missing.
Amazing show both Brandi and Lucius put on quite a show, they never disappoint! We were a little concerned that the outdoor venue would be too hot since we’ve been having an exceptional heat wave here in Texas but it was very comfortable. Loved the Moody Amphitheater venue!
I have loved her and the band for several years. This was my first chance to see her live, and it was AMAZING!! They are such talented musicians and performers. Even more, they looked like they really enjoyed their time on stage. I took a friend who has just begun to enjoy Brandi, and she loved it as well. The drive from Houston to Austin was well worth it, and I so hope to catch more performances in another wonderful arena.
best band in the world. best performers in the world. best people in the world. they rocked so hard. best concert in the world. do not hesitate to go see these four incredible men in concert! i love you 5sos, here’s to your world domination <3
Visually, this was the best concert I have ever attended. 5SOS absolutely rocked the house and was a tremendous amount of fun to watch. The only reason for the half star deduction is I am so upset they slowed down Wildflower. They obviously have full creative discretion and I support that, but I was so ready to lose my mind and jam out during one of my favorite 5SOS songs. Otherwise, I highly recommend seeing them!
Great Venue ! The Sound was great !
The Bands were of course the Best !!
Pay attention to parking. We were able to park across the street at a low price.
Very glad to enjoy the show !
Amazing, I love seeing Devon. I've seen him 5 times and he always sounds great! While Moody is in theory a cool venue, it can be a little hard to hear clearly if you are sitting in the general admission lawn section. If taxes and fees weren't so high, I would try buying a better ticket, but I can't justify the price. Back to DG, if you get a chance to see Devon, do it. He consistently puts on a great show.
