It was an awesome concert in a perfect venue! I have listened to Boz since college days in the 70’s and have the Silk Degrees vinyl album still in my collection! Great artist, singer, and song writer!
Julia is very energetic and is a great storyteller which is what part of country music is supposed to be. The audience could relate to every single story she told. She picked a great opener by having Melissa Quinn Fox open for her, who has won multiple DC Wammies and performs all over the DC area as well as her hometown of Pittsburgh.
Wasn't sure what to expect from this venue, first time there, but parking was ample and easy to get in/out of. The building was not the usual setting for one of these shows, but The Vault room where the show took place was decent and the sound was great, from anywhere in the room.
Arlo was incredible yet again, he has never failed to bring an enthusiastic and appreciative attitude to his shows and interacts with the crowd, if you give back his energy and he turns that into a fantastic performance. The band was tight and were sounding great. Hope to see more "Americana" type artists booked into this venue in the future.
Such a phenomenal and moving show!! Such talent and so wonderful to see Hayley back dancing like she never had an injury! Go see this show! You will leave with a huge smile on your face!!
It was great!
Not a fan of acoustic performances, but with he and Richard both playing guitars on the songs, it brought more fullness to them. Richard still has the great voice and is able to hit all the notes.
Also, the interaction between was a highlight of the show, it was like hanging with 2 of your friends sharing funny stories and important moments in their lives.
At one point, he was able to integrate with the video screen so that he played a song “with” his sons.
It was great!

I’ve been following CT since the beginning , 2008, when The Show was released and have been to countless shows. This was by far in my top 5 shows. These lads never disappoint and leave it all on the stage! If they are in your area, go see them! You will not be disappointed!
Capitol One Hall @ Tysons Virginia
We love KWS and were very excited to go to this event. The venue is beautiful! The acoustics were amazing. The seats in the “theatre style” room were very comfortable. My only disappointment was that the show was so short!! Started at 8 and ended at 9:30. I am not sure if concerts in venues like this are typically shorter?? KWS and the Band were outstanding. Definitely recommend seeing a show if you haven’t already!
Hate to say it.
He is a great guitarist.
But he played pretty much the same set last night that he played the last two times I saw him.
Short show felt mailed in.
The boy can riff but to me too much of the same thing on most tunes.
Curious about other reactions.
The Oak Ridge Boys NEVER disappoint !! The show was fantastic. The fact that they have been touring for as long as they have with no intention of stopping; even at their age is more than remarkable !! The fans love them and their age spans MANY generations..... There were kids below age 10 and people in their 8O's all clapping and enjoying their music ! There are none other like them !!
Only 2nd time I've seen Toad live(last time was at a festival back in 2018). I was blown away by the musicianship. Sounded spot on. Great show and highly highly recommend.
AMERICA IS THE REAL DEAL, WELL POLISHED AS EXPECTED, AND GAVE A GREAT 1.5 HOUR PERFORMANCE. TIGHT BAND, SPOT ON HARMONIES. I WOULD GO SEE AGAIN IN THE FUTURE.
CAPITAL ONE HALL IS A GREAT VENUE. EVERY SEAT IN THE HOUSE HAS GOOD STAGE VIEW*
Anthony Hamilton is a true performer. He engaged the audience and truly made sure everyone enjoyed themselves. Anthony has so many songs that he could go on for hours and everyone would stay right there! Amazing!!
It was my 1st visit to Capital One Hall and it wasn't a good one. Evidently they didn't sell enough tickets so they moved us from 1st row CENTER balcony to Orchester far left. They said it was an upgrade but we didn't think so. We could barely see the action on the stage. As for the show itself, the musicians were great. Was hoping for more holiday selections. I thought the singer was a tab weak.
First time at Capitol One Hall. It was beautiful & we had 2nd row center seats. I've always loved Men at Work so a lot of nostalgic fun was had. I adored seeing his wife perform as well. She has so much fun & energy, it's infectious! I've also seen Colin Hay solo & his shows are not to be missed! Not only is his voice still fabulous, but he is a superb story teller.
Loved it! Venue is great too, wonderful sound quality. I like the songs from the new album, but my favorites are from the 1976 Silk Degrees so I'm glad he did some of them.
If my eyes had been closed, I would have thought that I was at a Willie Nelson concert. Like most attendees, I was there to hear the original and entire 8 and half minute version of American Pie. Most of the other songs were just a labor intensive period until the water broke. Unfortunately, Don’s current version of AP was less than what I had expected and I guess that’s what 50 years does to one’s voice. In other words, it was acceptable and it brought back many childhood memories, but it’s not the rendition that I had hoped to hear. It has become more countrified, the range of his voice tempered by age along with a vibrato that he employs with all of his songs. I frankly thought that the instruments were overwhelming loud as well. Regardless, I still made myself enjoy it but I’d make AP the encore song so that everyone leaves a bit happier than when they came vs playing a couple of unknown songs as the finish. I don’t mean to be harsh because he has a lovely personality and his band mates were sufficient for the stage show, but I’ll always prefer his albums. Don’t not go see him because of my review.
I go to concerts all the time and SHE ROCKED! From first song to last she held nothing back. I was so invigorated by the show I needed a cool down. This is rarefied air folks. She shreds with all her guitars and I’m impressed she is still the lead guitarist. FANTASTIC show!
Another fantastic concert by Melissa Etheridge! Capital One Hall is an excellent venue even if security didn't want me to get close to the stage for pictures (Melissa always lets her fans take pictures and videos with personal devices). The set list was excellent again. Got to hear some of the songs from the first album. LCS
Buddy is a legend and knows how to play to a crowd. I took my son to see him to make sure he got to see him live. Buddy at 86 years old had my smiling the whole time. Kingfish opened and was fantastic as well. It was like the old generation welcoming the new. Don’t miss the chance to see him before you can’t. Love Buddy.
