Waldo Theatre

Third time seeing Mr Bragg, but first time in a small theater. Very intimate with excellent sound. Mr Bragg shared many humerus stories and anecdotes along with his vast catalog of "music with a message". If he comes to your town don't miss it! First time at the Waldo Theater but hopefully not the last. Run by an excellent courteous staff of mostly volunteers. Recently renovated and comfortable sears with great sound.

Great show! Awesome venue. Very Dead. Jammin. Very tight band. Go see them.

This was a great concert as always, Bella Ann was an absolute amazing opener she has such an incredible voice.

How these guys fly under the radar is a mystery. Their live show is incredible. The kind of tightness they show is that only great players who have wonderful chemistry can hope to achieve. Henry is a virtuoso and Robert Jon's soulful voice brings the lyrics to life. Rhythm section is in the pocket and the keys add just enough flavor it doesn't steal from the guitars. Put them on your must see list.

Brilliant night all the way around. Victor& Company were genius as usual and the venue was the best. We will definitely be back often and soon

Great show, full of energy and the building is a a great venue.

It was a terrific show. I've seen the groups number of times and they keep getting better. Charisma with virtuosity. The Waldo Theatre venue was small and personal. This is a must see band.

I have attended Roger's McGuinn's solo shows in each of the past five decades, and this was the best yet. And that is saying a lot. Roger's solo shows have evolved continuously. They contain a blend of stories and songs and reflect the musical journey his life has been. At Waldoboro he alternated between four different instruments. For fans of the Byrds, a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Band, the most recognizable sound is that of his signature electric 12-strong Rickenbacker, which he played to back classic Byrds songs such as "Mr. Tambourine Man," My Back Pages," and "So You Want to be a Rock and Roll Star." At Waldoboro Roger had the crowd engaged from start to finish. Roger has a unique talent for getting the audience involved, and encouraged all to sing along on the familiar hits. Accompanied by his banjo, Roger coached the audience to back him with a unique 1-2 clap pattern. I have seen him do this on countless occasions, and the results are often funny as the fans often struggle with such unfamiliar timing. Roger uniquely matches stories and songs reaching all the way back to his first musical adventures as a teenager, and over the course of the evening the audience learned about his evolution as an artist and the unique influences that contributed to his musical growth. The Joshua Tree are absolutely fantastic. Their no-frills stage presence really shows the incredible strength of U2's catalog. I'm a megafan of U2 and I would pay to see these guys anytime. The Waldo is a great little venue, too. I will definitely be going back!

The "GoldenOak" concert was absolutely superb! The venue of Waldo Theater was very pleasant, and the acoustics are among the best anywhere! We thoroughly enjoyed the engaging rapport of the band members with the audience. Their musicianship and vocal blending are excellent! Thank you to "GoldenOak" and Waldo Theater, Waldoboro, Maine, for a beautiful evening of entertainment!
