Another great performance by Josienne Clarke. I saw the first of her two performances at Brighton . What a treat. I have seen her perform over 10 times firstly as a duo with Ben Walker and lately as a solo performer, and each time she grows as an artist / singer songwriter.
Josienne had a brilliant catalogue of songs and, some, put her into the same league as her heroine Sandy Denny. The combination of her voice and song writing talents make a very special evening.
I recommend that you go and see Josienne and buy her albums

Steve’s got one of the loveliest voices I’ve ever heard. His voice has such a calming effect. His lyrics are up there along with our greatest writers. Looking forward to the new album. If it’s half as good as Beautiful Blue it’ll be a masterpiece; but I have a feeling Steve doesn’t settle for ‘half as goods’ he’d only settle for his best. The Folklore Rooms is a great venue but Steve warrants far bigger audiences than that place can hold…
