He played a good mix of his own songs and even included some BH songs which made me respect him even more. He had an amazing stage presence and included ALL of the crowd from the front, very back, far left, and far right.

I was at the concert August 18th and thought I only wanted to listen. HOWEVER< you do not go to see and hear the Gipshy Kings without getting up and moving to their rhythms. The main guitarist was excellent as was all the rest of the band. I enjoyed the raspy voice of Nicholas Reyes. It is a style that one needs to get used to and the more you hear him the more you enjoy his emotional style of singing. The Shell is such a wonderful venue to see and hear and dance with your favorite musical groups. ALSO the San Diego Symphony plays there and that too is a sweet experience. The cover singer was also good- sweet, naive style from downhome South.

Incredible venue and acoustics! What a magical sunset behind the bandshell. Perfect weather. The Symphony was awesome, and Jason Mraz was good/great. His music is sweet & positive and his band was fun and eclectic. But overall, the performance was missing that spark--that extra something you want when you go see a musician live.
