This is my third time seeing Chris Botti; each concert surpassed the last! The concert was wonderful and engaging! His guest violinist, Caroline Campbell was electric! Her version of "Kashmir" by Led Zepplin along with the other musicians was on fire! What a great venue and can't wait until Chris Botti is back in Chesterfield, MO!
This is my 3rd Chris Botti concert and I have to say that I am addicted. He is am amazing trumpet player and I love the variety of the entertainment. While he has some of the same band members, he always brings out different talent on instruments or vocally. I so much want to check out his residency at Blue Note in NYC. The Factory is an excellent venue. Really enjoy the space.
I’ve never been to “The Factory” before, But it’s a fantastic venue. Great seats everywhere and wonderful acoustics. It takes a pale comparison compared to Brian Culbertson, however. I have actually seen Brian before, and I wasn’t disappointed. It was an absolutely fantastic concert, with tons of energy And built to a crescendo that was explosive. This man really understands how to please excite his audience. His band is so good that each one could be their own solo star, and may be for all I know.
Unlike a lot of concerts there were no overly long solos that left you wishing they were finally over. Each one was its own special moment in time and we thoroughly enjoyed the entire concert. Go See Bryan! He doesn’t disappoint.
Such an amazing show. One of my favorite bands, they are always fantastic to see in concert, but this was one of the best times I've seen them. Evan Felker and all the band are so talented. They had such great energy tonight, played over two hours. Love these guys!
The show was amazing! the guest bands were pretty cool, definitely brought a lot of energy, but obviously the whole venue shook as soon as SUM 41 took the stage. Very sad this is their farewell tour, but had an amazing time seeing them go out with a bang. First time being at this venue. It was cool, not the biggest, but had plenty of room to mosh on the floor level next to the stage. I wouldn't mind coming here again.
Great show. Played lots of their old hits. Neat to see Danny Hutton is still singing all the great Three Dog Night hits!!! They were without a doubt one of the best bands of the late 60's and early 70's. Brings back a lot of good memories from those days when you hear them sing.
Also had great seats to watch the show. The Factory is a really nice place.
It was amazing! the acoustics in there were so good. you could hear the music almost perfectly everywhere. and the way ben interacts with the crowd is amazing and fun!!! I highly recommend going to his concerts and just concerts at the factory in general. also, the opener (Jordy Searcy) was AMAZING I loved it and now I listen to his music all the time. Thank you so much! ❤
The venue was very comfortable, great sound, and easy to navigate from parking to our seats. Kingfish was so amazing! The concert was a truly a fantastic experience and one I'd love to repeat next time he is in St. Louis. The opener, Mathias Lattin, was also quite the showman with amazing talent. Both musicians have the opportunity to increase their fans for years to come and I hope it works out that way for them...and us! Those on bass, drums, and keyboard were up to the call of jamming with these men. Kingfish has amazing guitar skills...taking listeners on a ride of notes that one won't soon forget. Blues music is a trip!
ALLY was fantastic but was only allowed 1 song with Devin (I’m No Angel) then the finale Midnight Rider with the rest of the performers (I’d already left by then out of boredom). Unless it’s just for fun I’m not sure why she plays with them although she’s been doing it a while. The local talent was great! And Duane Betts was unbelievable. Devin was Devin. I’ve watched him grow up (if that’s what you’d call it). We had amazing floor row F center seats that cost plenty to watch an Allman cover band that I’ve seen before in a few incarnations. (I’ve seen better ones without an Allman in it). The set list was good but if not for Betts…. I think I’ve seen a few of the locals at 61 Roadhouse and they were all good. I only got tix because Ally was going to be there. Out of all the musicians I think she played the least 😕
The Factory was fast becoming my favorite music venue in town. This time some of the staff was totally nice, helpful, etc. Others not so much.
I hope Ally comes back soon with her band or KWS.
Mark Normand is the best! Fantastic performance!
5 queefs!
The venue sucks something awful. Parking is a nightmare. The seating on the floor sucks because it’s a flat surface so you can’t see over the people in front of you. Also it’s in shithole Chesterfield. God willing the next flood will rid us of that garbage venue!!!
While it was the first time ever seeing them live, I've listened to them for over 10 years. I knew it would be good, and I'd love seeing/hearing them live but... they were above and beyond my hopes. It was an absolutely incredible show, with a band full of incredibly talented musicians. Fleet Foxes doing what they do mixed with the atmosphere created by visuals and lights, left me happily awestruck for the entire show.
It was a really great time!! The Factory is really good venue for those artists. Makes the audience feel apart of the performance, and great drums all night. I recommend F. Flay and Grandson… and Jack Kay’s is my number one dude so yes 4.8. 0.2 is because of traffic leaving the venue lol
The band was amazing. The crowd was amazing. The venue was amazing.
There were several songs where you could hear a pin drop, because the audience was focused on the music and not talking, like you have at so many concerts. This was a listening show and the crowd listened.
That backdrop though, wow! The only thing that could have made the light show any better, would have been to simulate a sunset with the lights.
After the show, exiting the venue and getting onto the highway was easy peasy.
Amigo the Devil shows are always amazing. He really is an entertainer through and through, engaging the crowd and connecting as much as he can. The same vibes as sitting in your house with your crazy friend with a banjo as he goes on about all the wild things he's done.
Whether solo or with the band, I’m always left speechless. They know how to put on a show!
It was a seated show, which you could tell Dallas wasn’t having, but when people started to stand up and show energy, security kept coming over and telling people they needed to calm down or they would have to leave.
1000% will see him every chance I get. Over and over.
My first time seeing them perform, and I was very impressed. The lighting, in combination with their vocalist's expressions, made for a truly atmospheric experience. I would've loved for more interactions between the artist and the audience, but I understand that may be difficult with a language barrier. Overall, I had a wonderful time dancing and making new friendships with other concert goers.
It was a fantastic show! Devon, Maggie Rose, Jimmy Hall , and the whole gang put on a spectacular performance! If you get a chance to see this performance, it is really worth the time and money to see! I wish there were more cities on the tour that maybe we could have caught another show in another town on some weekend down the road to see more special guest stars along the way. Hope they all return next year to STL since we will be there if they do.
This show was a killer. The crowd was small (@ 950 in a venue holding 3,000-3,500) but Ryan put on a spectacular performance, playing guitar and piano, belting out songs with more power than I ever seen from him.
He brought good humor from start to finish (I had no idea he was that funny). His fixation on lamps that were part of his set but not plugged in was hysterical (I couldn't begin to tell if that was real or all shtick but it was funny as hell). Toward the end, someone in the audience kept calling for a song they wanted to hear but the request was hard to understand and it was long past the time for requests. Nevertheless, Ryan grabbed what he heard and made something up on the spot - 5 minutes or better of nonstop playing, singing and all of it completely off the cuff.
This format really suits him. I only wish I could follow him city to city to see it again. That's not currently in the cards.
I loved everything! The production was great. Maybe some more base in chorus like “I don’t know how to survive” it hit in some songs, but with more consistency it would’ve hit just a bit intensifying the already smackin beat. Also I loved all the albums so I’m always a little sad we can’t always play old stuff. At the same time I’m sure you’re tired of playing the same songs, I get it. Still, I love your music so much. I’ve been listening for 10+ years since high school and got to see you for 16th birthday and just enjoy anything you come out with.
We can’t thank you enough for the wonderful concert and for all the wonderful things she provided for the handicap people that were in attendance. My daughter introduced Mr. Azzar on stage. She was so excited and loved the concert as well as did her friends the concert was absolutely wonderful and he did a very professional job with a great band accompanying him.
