It was a fun show. Love this band and I'm very happy to have gotten to see them live. The opener (Party Dozen) was pretty mid at best, the drummer was crazy talented at least. Then it took about an hour for Amyl to come on, and they played for about an hour. Was honestly a bit too loud, everything was peaking and the sound got very muddy. Overall had a great night.
Fantastic show the last time I saw clutch was Rock on the Range back in 2016. It was rainy, outside, and they where under appreciated. This was 10x. Better! Headliner, at the Factory "best venue in STL and dry clothes", and we had the grandson with us for his 2nd show! His first was Pantera!🤘Clutch never disappoints but the venue makes a difference.
The event was mesmerizing. To Jyl and Jules.. I was the weirdo that kept walking around singing crazy praise to you about Uncle Sam/Aunt Sally syndrome. About the collective. You brining Godhood to the table, Goddesses.. with ur somersaults and scissor kick attitude/badassness. Meanwhile I wouldn’t blame you if you were like ew, get away from me, haha. What can I say. *shrug* can’t wait to see you in concert again. Even if you’ve gone on hiatus because of whackos trying to “balance” my love with polar opposite syndrome. Sry. Anyway. I still get tears of joy/strength thinking about that event and your music. Here’s a picture of an extraterrestrial bed ridden ufo/craft Uncle Sam commandeered backed by Aunt Sally on ground with giant space beam weaponry to keep us Yoo-hoos safe. Covert skirmish right there and nobody saw it. Cept this Yoo-hoo who filmed it. Strange. I can sorta see us up there somehow somewhere whoopin a*s.. breaking down a bit. Then rising up flame like phoenix’s over and over since there’s nothing else to do. There’s stars born to you. I should say nebulae. Take care goddess sisters. Keep trucking faith. It’s a whole lot of mystery out there. Ya never know. But with hope. And a little encouragement.. nothing you can’t do. *hugs and kiss to u where appropriate, maybe air driven* thank you
The show was absolutely amazing! Sagalow and Soder blew the roof off of the uptown theater, I laughed so much that my jaw hurt for the next 24hrs! I cant remember the name of the opener, my apologies, but his set was great as well. I will always go to a Soder show when he's passing through, Dan is one of the GOATs of this generation.
I had been looking forward to Burning Spear’s concert ever since it was announced many months ago …. and it didn’t disappoint. This eighty year old Roots Rocker still has it. I saw him & his multi - person band about 15 years ago & I knew I would see him again, every chance I got.
Outstanding show. Great set list. Talented musicians. A.J. Croce paid an honorable tribute to his family's legacy through stories, songs and "photographs and memories". He had great connection with the audience. His musicianship was on full display as he alternated between piano, organ, acoustic and electric guitars. A.J. Is a musical genius. Go see his show! You won't be disappointed.
This is my 3rd Chris Botti concert and I have to say that I am addicted. He is am amazing trumpet player and I love the variety of the entertainment. While he has some of the same band members, he always brings out different talent on instruments or vocally. I so much want to check out his residency at Blue Note in NYC. The Factory is an excellent venue. Really enjoy the space.
I didn’t make the show but just wanted to say I love your music very much and hope you will return within the year again. My wedding is in November and my fiancé has a lot of health issues and I’m kinda scared for her to even make it to the wedding. Anyway, I would love to take her to your show; our first dance is goin to be to The Girl. That’s our song and it speaks volumes about our relationship. Hope to see you guys soon, keep making great music, thanks!!!
I’ve never been to “The Factory” before, But it’s a fantastic venue. Great seats everywhere and wonderful acoustics. It takes a pale comparison compared to Brian Culbertson, however. I have actually seen Brian before, and I wasn’t disappointed. It was an absolutely fantastic concert, with tons of energy And built to a crescendo that was explosive. This man really understands how to please excite his audience. His band is so good that each one could be their own solo star, and may be for all I know.
Unlike a lot of concerts there were no overly long solos that left you wishing they were finally over. Each one was its own special moment in time and we thoroughly enjoyed the entire concert. Go See Bryan! He doesn’t disappoint.
The show was amazing! the guest bands were pretty cool, definitely brought a lot of energy, but obviously the whole venue shook as soon as SUM 41 took the stage. Very sad this is their farewell tour, but had an amazing time seeing them go out with a bang. First time being at this venue. It was cool, not the biggest, but had plenty of room to mosh on the floor level next to the stage. I wouldn't mind coming here again.
Great show. Played lots of their old hits. Neat to see Danny Hutton is still singing all the great Three Dog Night hits!!! They were without a doubt one of the best bands of the late 60's and early 70's. Brings back a lot of good memories from those days when you hear them sing.
Also had great seats to watch the show. The Factory is a really nice place.
It was amazing! the acoustics in there were so good. you could hear the music almost perfectly everywhere. and the way ben interacts with the crowd is amazing and fun!!! I highly recommend going to his concerts and just concerts at the factory in general. also, the opener (Jordy Searcy) was AMAZING I loved it and now I listen to his music all the time. Thank you so much! ❤
The venue was very comfortable, great sound, and easy to navigate from parking to our seats. Kingfish was so amazing! The concert was a truly a fantastic experience and one I'd love to repeat next time he is in St. Louis. The opener, Mathias Lattin, was also quite the showman with amazing talent. Both musicians have the opportunity to increase their fans for years to come and I hope it works out that way for them...and us! Those on bass, drums, and keyboard were up to the call of jamming with these men. Kingfish has amazing guitar skills...taking listeners on a ride of notes that one won't soon forget. Blues music is a trip!
While it was the first time ever seeing them live, I've listened to them for over 10 years. I knew it would be good, and I'd love seeing/hearing them live but... they were above and beyond my hopes. It was an absolutely incredible show, with a band full of incredibly talented musicians. Fleet Foxes doing what they do mixed with the atmosphere created by visuals and lights, left me happily awestruck for the entire show.
The band was amazing. The crowd was amazing. The venue was amazing.
There were several songs where you could hear a pin drop, because the audience was focused on the music and not talking, like you have at so many concerts. This was a listening show and the crowd listened.
That backdrop though, wow! The only thing that could have made the light show any better, would have been to simulate a sunset with the lights.
After the show, exiting the venue and getting onto the highway was easy peasy.
Whether solo or with the band, I’m always left speechless. They know how to put on a show!
It was a seated show, which you could tell Dallas wasn’t having, but when people started to stand up and show energy, security kept coming over and telling people they needed to calm down or they would have to leave.
1000% will see him every chance I get. Over and over.
It was a fantastic show! Devon, Maggie Rose, Jimmy Hall , and the whole gang put on a spectacular performance! If you get a chance to see this performance, it is really worth the time and money to see! I wish there were more cities on the tour that maybe we could have caught another show in another town on some weekend down the road to see more special guest stars along the way. Hope they all return next year to STL since we will be there if they do.
Liquid Stranger performs one hell of a show. His energy carries through the crowd; as he played you can tell he’s feeling his music too. He also interactive as well, without it being too much. Just enough to hear his wonderful accent. The visuals were beautiful & transcending, like going into space or in another dimension. His opening DJ’s had us going, & they were all different in their own talented way, which made it interesting & not boring. Still gave us what we came for; the beats & bass.
I loved everything! The production was great. Maybe some more base in chorus like “I don’t know how to survive” it hit in some songs, but with more consistency it would’ve hit just a bit intensifying the already smackin beat. Also I loved all the albums so I’m always a little sad we can’t always play old stuff. At the same time I’m sure you’re tired of playing the same songs, I get it. Still, I love your music so much. I’ve been listening for 10+ years since high school and got to see you for 16th birthday and just enjoy anything you come out with.
