Tropics

Tropics is an owner operated business whose owners uprooted from Honolulu and have settled in Morgantown. The Hawaiian-style interior design and exterior decor transcends you to an island getaway.

We are an authentic local Hawaiian themed restaurant and bar that offers island favorites: from Piña Coladas and Mai Tai's, to Ahi Tuna Poke and Kalua Pig & Cabbage. Our cuisine ranges from an eclectic mix of tropical Pacific/Asian influences to American comfort food.

We strive to serve our guests with true aloha, in a fun and relaxed atmosphere - fulfilling every concept of a trip to paradise. Our goal is to exceed our customers' expectations and provide an unforgettable dining experience.

While an indoor/outdoor restaurant and bar, Tropics is strictly an outdoor live music/entertainment venue. Tropics has been nominated for Best Music Venue in North Central West Virginia through the Best of Morgantown competition since 2020.

Artists that have performed at Tropics include Fiji, Puddle of Mudd, Saving Abel, Common Kings, J. Boog, Candlebox, Tiffany, Hirie, Hot Rain, Whole Damn Mess, The Dave Matthews Tribute Band, and many talented regional and local performers.
