Bond Brothers Eastside

This was a different show from the flamenco that Eduardo and his band perform at Bond Brothers in Cary. It was Cinco de Mayo weekend, and Eduardo and his musicians definitely played for a group of lively party-goers. Everyone was dancing and having a great time rather than just witnessing a performance. The band consisted of three guitarists (Eduardo de Rosamaria/Ed Stephenson, Ryan Johnson, and Chris Bennett) who are some of the best musicians in the area. Percussion was done by the wonderful Cat Albanese who also shared some of the vocals with Puerto Rican singer Mara Gisele. They played quite a number of Latin cover songs (Santana, Los Lonely Boys, Ricky Martin, Madonna, and more), along with a few of the usual flamenco. The energy was off the charts from both the band and the crowd. A Brazilian Samba/Latin dancer (Jenny Geska) performed for several of the numbers and also taught Latin dance steps during the intermission. Most of the audience came to the dance floor to learn from Jenny, who did a great job of both performing and teaching. While I very much enjoy flamenco performances, Eduardo and The Paco Band is definitely worth seeing when they are throwing a party. Your guests will dance the night away and the guitars in particular were simply at an entirely different level...concerts charging many times the price would not be any better than what we saw at Bond Brothers Eastside on Saturday night. Kudos to Julian the sound engineer and to Clay and Jackson who were working that night. They all took great care of the guests and the band. 👍👍

This was a wonderful performance by five very talented artists! Phenomenal guitarists Eduardo de Rosamaria and Ryan Johnson. Excellent vocals by Puerto Rican vocalist Mara Aldereguia. Both flamenco dancers, Puerto Rican Velmy Trinidad and Cuban Erika Torres, were exceptional dancers. Erika even performed to the classical guitar piece "Asturias" (Isaac Albeniz) while virtuoso classical guitarist Eduardo de Rosamaria (Edward Stephenson) played an outstanding rendition. The audience was mesmerized by the artistry, but also enjoyed a night out on the town as they joined in with singing and dancing at various parts of the performance. You don't want to miss this ensemble whenever they come to your city or town, as these concerts are both works of art and a fun night out. Ole! Special kudos to Bond Brothers sound engineer Julian---the dancers' steps were captured well which added a unique percussive sound to the music, while not overpowering it.

What an amazing show! Two wonderful flamenco dancers from Puerto Rico and Cuba (both of whom have performed internationally), excellent guitarists, and an amazing singer! It felt like a night in a Spanish tablao. Great sound quality as well---we could clearly hear the percussion of the dancers' feet which added to the musicality, abd was a special gift to the audience. Great audience interaction and exceptional talent. Sold out house! Gracias for a special Spanish evening without leaving Cary. ❤️💃🇪🇸

Her band is awesome and plays a wide variety of genres, , but her original songs played in a smaller venue like this - even better!

What a wonderful show! Guitarists, vocalists, pianist, flutist, and flamenco dancers! It was much like being in a Spanish tablao. Outstanding musicians and dancers. The venue is also well-designed for live music, complete with a stage and an excellent sound system (with a wonderful sound engineer!)
