Music Mansion

I have seen Greg Abate perform many times in different venues. Yesterday, once again he played brilliantly at the Music Mansion in Providence. He composes his own original pieces and plays music by jazz stars such as Miles Davis. He is facile with the tenor and alto sax as well as with the flute and the clarinet. Yesterday his trio included Todd Baker on the bass and Diamond Centofanti on the piano who also played very well to a highly appreciative audience. If you are lucky enough to have the opportunity to hear Greg who also plays with a quartet and quintet, go for it. I promise that it will begin and end on a good note! Steve C. Imber, Ph. D.
