What fans are saying
Great venue. Every seat offers an excellent view and the sound was great. Forbert was polite, engaging, and gave an appreciative audience a solid performance featuring his familiar hits. Grateful that he is still touring, giving it his all, and included a stop in Columbus. Thank you Steve!
The show was okay for the first rew songs. When young Nashville singer-songwriter, Sarah Gross, jit the stage, the whole show did a 180. She rocked the stage and clearly stole the show! Her range, style, and energy infused 1000 volts of electricity into a somewhat lackluster show.
First, let's address the food at Natalie's! Wow! Delicious Arancini! (Traditional Sicilian rice balls made from creamy, cooled risotto, then deep fried crispy, topped with an amazing marinara sauce!) Incredible wood fired pizza and the service staff was fantastic!
Liz Longley - Whomever was on lighting & sound was on point! He even changed the stage colors to red/green when Liz featured a new Christmas song she recently recorded. Well done!
Most of all, I want to thank LIZ LONGLEY for taking requests, especially the dedication of "Simple Love" for our 44th Anniversary! My wife was so surprised & we both shed joyful tears! The lyrics of Simple Love really resonated with how we both still feel about each other, even after 44 years! The challenges, successes, having faith to guide us & always supporting each other! Communication is key! After more than 4 decades together, this will be our new favorite song! Liz delivered "our" story effortlessly & authentically. Thank you, Liz!!
Liz's music arrangements are so impressive & genuine (just when you feel she might modulate - she changes keys!) LOL. Her lyrics are timeless & Liz's vocal range stays impeccably on pitch! Liz seamlessly changes from head voice to chest, to falsetto & full voice, performing authentically & with an effortless natural flow! She is also very accomplished on both guitar & keys! As an audience, we feel so connected to Liz! I love how she encouraged us to participate on a few songs. What a perfect night Liz created for us & everyone! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Also thank you, Natalie's for a beautiful & memorable evening!
Fantastic show. Carolyn and her band never disappoint. Fantastic musicians. You'll get soulful blues, a playful spirit and heartfelt moments. If you haven't seen her your a fool (meant in the kindest possible way). So unfool yourself and get tickets anytime she's close. Go to Natalie's for always!!! Great venue, not a bad seat in the house, fabulous acoustics.
Always such a pleasure to catch The Cactus Blossoms at Natalie's - my second time seeing them here in two years. Their 21 song set included old favourites like "Powder Blue" and "Mississippi" as well as some new unreleased material including my favorite "Not That I Don't Want To" which features lead singerJack Torrey on the harmonica - very Bob Dylan-esque. They encored with two more of my favourites: "Hey Baby" and "Adios Maria." Thanks to Page for the Guest List invite ..Was also a special night seeing as how the show coincided with my birthday week celebrations! p.s. thank you Jack and Page for signing my "Every Time I Think About You" album!
I had never heard Amanda Fish and I was very pleasantly surprised. She was charming and has a lovely voice. She is also a song writer and did some of her own songs. Amanda has a strong voice and an excellent range. We throughly enjoyed her show.. KB
Liz Longley is incapable of singing a bad note. Her intonation is hauntingly perfect and couldn't be any easier to listen to. Even though she is young, her writing comes from an old soul who is deeply in touch with who she is and what is going on around her. Her live shows demonstrate her deep and growing catalog of intensely personal songs about loves, loves lost, family, travels and just the passion play that life can be to an artist who is paying attention. Even though her recordings are all well produced, recorded and performed, she shines as a solo acoustic artist where her soul is on display and she just keeps getting better and better. She never tries to impress anyone with her guitar accompaniment, but she is an accurate, creative and excellent guitarist in her own right. If you need some food for your soul and you miss when folk acoustic, singer/songwriter music was readily available, go experience Liz Longley live...you will come away feeling better about the state of music and about yourself!
Always a great show with ALT Great story teller and even better musician. Always leave his shows feeling like a better person. He sends out a lot of love and laughter. I keep bringing new people to see him and have created quite a fan base in our area. Looking forward to the next show already.
While my wife and I have seen Patrick Lamb perform with Gino Vannelli several times, this is our first time seeing him as the featured performer. He did NOT disappoint. After a rousing opening set by the Urban Jazz Coalition, Patrick joined them and proceeded to wow the audience with an eclectic compilation of songs. One aspect of the show that surprised me was Patrick's voice. The man can sing! I'm glad he's no longer "hiding" behind his saxophone. I'm anxious to hear more from him and looking forward to attending another of his concerts. If you get a chance, do yourself a favor and treat yourself to this sensational, multi-talented musician.
Patrick Lamb is an excellent jazz musician. He is truly electric on the sax, yet has a smooth, funk/jazz style . He loves to interact with his audience and shares his love for performing . He put on an amazing show and showcased his new song,/cd. “Mint Condition.” Go see his show. You will truly enjoy his music!
Great, great show. Remarkable voice, an instrument unto itself and great skills with guitar and keyboard. Can’t understand why she’s not better known. Wonderful stories and chemistry with the audience. A true treat to see a talent like hers in an intimate seating like Natalie’s for an incredibly reasonable price. Loved it
This was a delightful evening of music and entertainment by Steve Arvey for a small, intimate and enthusiastic audience! Steve is an accomplished musician with a quick wit and extensive repertoire of blues and other styles. We really enjoyed our first visit to Natalie’s.
I have been a fan of Karen's since randomly seeing her in Nashville about 7 years ago.
I purchased my VIP tickets early and had great seats to a wonderful performance.
The best part, though, was having a meet and greet with her. She is really a beautiful person to go along with her talent. Really had a great and affordable evening and would for sure go see her again and again.
What a great venue to see a show! Karen crushed it like always and keeps the crowd energized and engaged each show she does. Taking time with VIP before the show and then sticking around to meet her fans afterwards, is what separates the great ones from the good ones! She won’t be doing small venues much longer as she is skyrocketing up to the next level and will be opening in arenas then filling arenas wait and see!
KDub was in the house!!😎🎤🎼🎸
Johnny Manchild and the Poor Bastards was outstanding with great stage presence, great music and greater interactions with the crowd. My favorite band for a reason. The entire time they brought the energy and lots of musical improvisation to showcase how strong/talented of a band they are. Having seen and met them before it was the best feeling to be able to have that connection and feel recognized as a fan. Will see them every opportunity I have.
Holdfast. was a great opener and delivered very good music and were wonderful to talk to after the show. Hope to continue to see them grow. Such a unique sound, especially the lead singer, he has such a unique voice that delivered throughout the show.
Eric and his band were awesome. I really enjoyed myself. Besides Eric's singing, guitar, keyboard and song writing talents, he's funny. The venue was intimate (small) but I think it was sold out and standing only. The staff was friendly, organized and hard working. Parking was no problem.
The band played an amazing set and the venue was perfect for this intimate show. Eilen is sweet and witty which plays to the crowd. The band was on-point and were a joy to watch. Afterward, the entire band hung out to meet the crowd. Hands down one of the best shows I've been to in a long time. Praise to both the venue and the artists!
So much fun with good friends Brian and Susan Walker with The Cactus Blossoms at Natalie's Grandview in Columbus OH last night. haven't seen these guys since January 2020. Well worth the wait yet another awesome performance and much fun dancing the night away...thanks to Page and Jack for signing my tee and taking the time to chat with me after the show. as always looking forward to the next one....❤️👏🌵
It was my first time at Natalie’s and I love the venue! Staff was super friendly, ordering easy, food and drinks were delivered quickly and were delicious!
Angela and the band were awesome!! Love her unique sound. the songs are melodic and catchy and the band oozed talent.
Can’t wait to them again and can’t wait to get back to Natalie’s
Albert is the real deal. My favorite show of the year, and I see a lot of shows. Will definitely be seeing him again. His new CD is also fantastic. Natalie's Grandview is a great place to see a show. Smaller venue provides a more intimate setting. Not a bad seat in the house.
