Ball Arena

Our section in 302 was tricky to find @ Ball Arena but that has nothing to do with the band. I was fortunate to see Nathaniel Rateliff and the night sweats a few years back at Mission Ballroom and I think the acoustics there were better with their big band and horns. They are awesome to see though in any venue. And I plan to see them again!

We were "warned" that PG was all about playing his new music with only a few old songs mixed into the set. Honestly, we think his new music is brilliant and really enjoyed the show. Of course I wish he had played a few more old school songs, but it is what it is. PG's voice is still fantastic, the lights and stage set up were creative and the band was equally as impressive. The downfall of the night was the fact that we were literally the only people who wanted stand up during the new songs. In fact, we were yelled at with one attendee telling us "this isn't a Garth Brooks show". I have no idea what that even means... Because PG's presence was so incredible, I've giving his show 5 stars regardless of the lame concert goers who opted to stay seated for 80% of the show. (FYI- I'm 54, so even in my middle years of life, I wanted to get my groove on. I'm not a 20 year old who needed to stand to burn energy).

Fantastic concert...It was a great show, despite the fact that my seat was so far from the scene so I could barely see him... They played 2/3 normally and about 1/3 of the songs in acoustic which provided a nice touch and variety to the show. I was just disappointed to listen to 'Layla' in acoustic...I really, above anything else, wanted to hear the live version of Layla with the electric instruments...But that was still really good!

Did not enjoy second opener (Kim Dracula) Walking off after D(eath) was probably the worst ending of all time. Great show, musicianship, M. Shadows sounded fantastic, wonderful energy…then leaves you hanging after a suicide song. The set list was quite “ Life is but a dream” heavy, And a bit disappointing that they were teasing about playing cosmos, and this did not happen. Overall, I enjoyed the show and they are still One of the all-time best

Icon!!! Eric Clapton, was amazing and so was Jimmie Vaughan! This was a concert of a life time! This was the best show. I’m so glad I went to the concert instead of the CU buffs game hard pick for some but I knew I choose right the legend of Rock and Roll! he was amazing kudos to him and may he live on and keep on Rocking .!

I was so amazed with his performance! the lighting,sound and the whole production was the best I have ever experienced! Lionel was spectacular! and I would see him again,again and again. Thank you so much for such a wonderful night down memory lane and to see him live was a dream come true! especially when you come from a place where artist of his magnitude will never visit our island of Guam. it was worth the trip to see him..thank you and God bless all of you for making this come to reality.....

Paramore have been my favorite band since I was 12 and this was my first time seeing them :) they put on an amazing performance and really know how to work a crowd. I ended up fainting halfway through their set but I was able to get back on my feet pretty quick to watch the rest of the show. 10/10 would nearly die for Paramore again

I took my daughters to their very first concert. Our entire family is in love with the group Paramore! We play their music as a family on Rockband and this group is our go to music! This group is truly cherished by our entire family, so when I found out they would be here in Colorado I had to take my 15 yr old and 16 1/2 yr old daughter to their first concert. Such a phenomenal first concert! I wish we had all of our family here with us to celebrate our favorite group, but this night was a blessing! Thank you Paramore for the Greatest night ever! We are forever Humbled and Grateful! Your group is our favorite group ❤️ My hope is that one day Paramore can have another concert and this time we can have our entire family together there celebrating and singing with our family’s favorite band!

Disturbed being one of my favorite bands was no surprise that they put on an outstanding show as usual. The opening bands Jinjer and Breaking Benjamin put the show together quite well and made the night awesome, I couldn't ask for anything more than that. What a fantastic group of bands at Ball Arena everything went very smoothly, thank you to all!

We enjoyed the show very much. We do wish the background music and lights were toned down a bit so we could hear their beautiful voices better. We were also happy to see Girl Named Tom join in the 2nd half of the show. We were so sad to miss their opening act as we were caught in a 90 minute traffic jam south of the arena. But the show was well worth our tenacity. We have loved Pentatonix since the beginning. Happy Holidays!

First stadium show! We were in the nosebleeds and the crowd around us coulda been more hype, but it was a really fun set nonetheless, even not knowing a lot of the new album well they still made it interesting with HD backgrounds and pyrotechnics. Sound quality could have been a bit better but the energy delivered by Brendon and the band was really good. Setlist was well diversified but I didn't think they needed to play the whole new album all the way through necessarily.

The show was amazing. Scorpions rocked the top off and Thunder Mother was a refreshing change! On the other hand, Ball Arena was only selling merchandise in ONE place. Could not believe that! I have never been to a venue that only had ONE merchandise location. People waited for hours to purchase merchandise and missed a lot of the show. Ball Arena needs to remedy that for the next show.

Best show I’ve been to. Ever! MCR has such a strong stage presence and I knew my sister and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to see them live when I saw they were coming to Denver. I have been a fan since middle school and going to this concert was a dream come true. It’s going to be hard for me to get over what an amazing show this was. Thank you, MCR, you have changed my life!!

One of the best shows I’ve ever seen and that’s saying a lot since I’ve been to hundreds of shows over the years! It’s very political, but that’s just one of the many things I loved about it… I saw Roger Waters 5 years ago in Budapest and this show blew that one out of the water, no pun intended… he is still as awesome as ever!

My heart is so full. I feel blessed to have finally seen Cudi. The sound was also amazing. I could feel the bass to the point I got goosebumps. Scott is a genuinely good person. He showed that last night. I highly recommend seeing him live. Everything about the way he moves to what he says, is strangely validating and entrapping. Watching how free his movements are, encouraged me to be my most authentic self and to refocus. This show felt like the entire crowd was connected. I think we all sang just as much as him. It was fuggin cool. Plus I really enjoyed that he took breaks in between songs. Lord knows I needed a moment as well. The show wasn’t all go hard or go home. It gave recognition to the fact we are human and it’s okay to go slow. I felt like I could actually stay present and appreciate more this way. Everything was just perfect. It was all so well curated. If I had the money I’d do it all again. 10/10 would recommend.

Wow!! Last night, I went to sleep in Tucson, AZ. Woke up this morning and went to work. Now, I am receiving push notifications and emails asking me to rate last night’s Evanescence concert in Denver, CO. I am not at all surprised by this as I have watched Moon Knight. I completely forgot to tie my leg to the bed. I just wanna thank Evanescence for putting on a incredible show! I know my other me absolutely loved and thanks other me for helping me get home in time for work! 10/10 would recommend

Tyler was amazing! His stage presence was so fun....he engaged often with the audience and had a great combo of new and old songs, fast and slow, and played a solid 1 1/2 hours with no breaks. I'm 52 years old and not a die hard hip hop/rap fan but I do love those with great talent like Tyler, The Creator.

Opening acts were basic artist pre-show openers but there were moments when each of the performances engaged with the audience. Kacey: Great set construction and build, color tones were neutral but lighting helped to bring depth and color to the show. There was a giant screen which projected a array of visuals and on screen cameos of the musicians were visible at times during the performance. Vocalization was amazing and spot on, her voice was great however at times the music overcoated Kaceys alluring voice but this is common at shows. Great stage presence in the show, engages with the audience frequently and uses props to engage the audience.

I'll be honest, this is not a review of their performance. I suppose it's more on the technical side even though I have no clue about that stuff. But basically... The sound wasn't good. The mixing. They're apparently using a different sound system for this leg of the tour and it just didn't work with the Ball Arena. The bass was way too loud, the vocals too quiet, the guitar and drums just got lost together. In addition, Tool are just too loud live. I'm an avid concert-goer, and tool are consitently the loudest band I see live. They're trying to be bombastic, but honestly at that volume stuff just gets lost. All that said, it was still a highly enjoyable show. What could be discerned audibly was phenomenal (and still a lot of the show), and the visuals are absolutely stunning. It was still well worth seeing, but it could have been perfect if they'd kept the sound system from the first leg of the tour, turned the volume down a bit, and brought out the vocals more

Well the two guitarist just stood there on each side of the stage. The singer stayed in the back on platform adjacent to the drums. the music was great, the light show was goofy, man if you hit the music, you don't need these goofy graphics. The most non-personal show I've ever been and that's mainly .due to the arena. I think they missed a mark on some older songs that they don't play.. I'll sum it up by, It was good to sit there and listen to the music while they just stood there and played it. Looking around the arena during The Grudge, The Patient, Descending and Hooker with a Penis, the crowd looked Bored. I'm approaching 60 years old and have seen concerts since 1976. This was in my bottom 10. Reminded me of a band tour Money grab.
