The Des Plaines Theatre

I was at this show. I had a great time. You guys did a wonderful job. I was also at the one in St. Charles. It was also awesome. I hope you come back to St. Charles again. i would love to see it. It was a fantastic show.I have seen Firehouse for several years with CJ And I think three times now, with Nate. I love both singers and i'm a sad that c j passed, but he couldn't have picked a better replacement for himself. As long as they're coming here, i'm playing, I will always be there.They have become one of my top five favorite bands to see live. This was my 488 concert from 1984 to persent, and counting.

It was a shame that more people didn't come out to see Fastball. They are one of the best live acts. A band that is comfortable digging though all of their past albums for songs that bridge many genres, from pop-rock, classic rock, blues and country. They made sure to include their hits (the way, out of my head, you're an ocean), as well as deeper cuts off of their lesser known albums. They sprinkled in covers (touch me by The Doors, on the road again by Willie Nelson, D'yer maker, by Led Zeppelin, the joker by Steve Miller Band) to the delight of a sparse, but very receptive crowd. They are a tight live act that loves playing to the crowd and the touring guitarist bring a bit of bravado and really fills out their sound. Hopefully, they countinue touring, as they are a true veteran class act, and don't let the embarrassing turnout get to them.

Foghat was a walk down memory lane. Sadly, until I YouTubed Pat Travers Band, I had never recalled hearing any of his music. I've seen. There were a lot of bands, so it was nice to finally see him, and his bass player bang away and thump those strings in a very unusual and electrifying way. You could tell. They were having fun mesmerizing the audience. Foghat was spot on as usual. Come see us again, guys!

The Capra Brothers Band was very good.. The lead singer reminded me of John Belushi of The Blues Brothers. VERY HIGH OCTANE PERFORMANCE. Next up, 38 Special. Very strong vocals and rad guitar riff plus, outstanding sound, and visual light set. KUDOS to the light master. You are a Jedi among your peers. First time seeing these two bands. Wasn't disappointed. I recommend them. With such intensity and boundless energy, perhaps an outdoor venue would serve them best.

Fabulous!!! They rock the house, and they really get the audience up and stomping. The lead had a voice that could cut glass. I've seen AC/DC a few times, and this tribute band was as fine a copy as they come. I recommend and, I, would see them again. I hit... repeat! Sabbat also played tribute to black Sabbath, and I felt like I was stepping back into the 70s with this band wailing that bands standards.

Fabulous. A must-see. 13 musicians who gave it their all. Ron O, the owner of the Des Plaines Theatre and Arcada Theater, did his usual flag thing and sprinkled his palm, pressing graditude throughout the audience. The only thing detracting from the performance is the rude, inconsiderate folk that should remain in the bar with their drunken and disturbingly obnoxious talk. Ushers! It's your job to quiet them down or toss em out! Cheers!

This was my first time seeing Mr. Speed. My daughter, brother and I loved the show and got to meet the band after the show and took some pictures with them as well. There was not a lot of people at the venue which seemed a bit odd but the show was great, the venue was very nice and Mr. Speed kept everyone entertained. I will definitely see them again when they come back around.

Two more fantastic shows! The lead guitarist, Tim Quick, adds a whole new dimension to their already marvelous catalogue of songs. Tim's interpretation of the song "Live with the Lie" is Buddy Guy quality! Paul's stage presence is so much fun to watch! Frank Vilardi keeps the songs tight and driven. The brothers are always fun, funny, and entertaining. Already looking forward to the next time they come through the Chicagoland area!

I love Onesti Entertainment Events at both the Arcada and Des Plaines Theatres. This band put on a fabulously talented 2-hour show. Most of their songs were a tribute to the band Chicago. They sprinkled in a The Carpenters song that only Karen Carpenter can do her way, but the female performer in this band showcased her enormous vocal talent by covering it equally well. She was mesmerizing. True musicians, singers, and entertainers. I would see them again. Thank you, Ron Onesti, for providing yet another great event. I also wanted to mention a shout-out and a thank you to your fabulous staff. They are polite, friendly, and dedicated to making sure you get to your seat, your food and drink is delivered timely, and merchandise is delivered with a smile.

Both bands are absolutely fabulous!!! I had a main floor seat that gave a perfect view. The starter band called the Todd Donnelly Band was a kind of music from various genres, and each song was hopping and fun.. the Bee Gees Gold Band was great. If you closed your eyes and just listened, they were almost pitch-perfect clones of the actual Brothers Gibb. I liked that they included 3 Andy Gibb songs that went straight to number 1 on the Billboard before his untimely and tragic death. Thank you, Ron Onesti, for seeking, finding, and billing such talented up and coming entertainers. I hope both bands have a long and prosperous career.

Lovely. I've never seen any of the 4 bands in person, but the bands were spot on despite the decades since the 80s. I'd see this venue again. The des plaines theater has no bad seat..the speakeasy is just like the one in st charles at the Acadia. Another great venue location. These 2 venues are owned by the group. Next dollar, a newly opened concert and memorabilia shop. Wang Chung, anyone?!

There were empty seats... not a sellout at either Friday - Arcada, nor Saturday DP Theatre. I was couch surfing 2nd set on Fri (VG, not Ex), yet 1st set was where the 🔥🔥opened with Kimocks debut kickin' off with UJB> Mt. TC was contributing, but he was always subtle, bringing undertones to melody, not dynamics. Guberman took on some singing and fingers tickling the Nord keys and Oakley never really got the featured spotlight, holding bass lines, but giving up the central BEAT to Pete on the kit and Kimock front and center, harmonizing various voicings on a Fender Strat, Gibson hollowbody and a E-35(i think?!). Karan also seemed to have been deferential last night on the tour, gave some spotlight up, but sang and played some leads, as well as rhythm, but fewer solos in the mix. I chose not to video "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed," the E: finale, to just savor it in the moment. Told my buddy mid song, I loved not filming that, but also hated not capturing it for posterity. It was a good one.

Musically they are spot on, but taking on a band whose lyrics and music are as complex as Rush deserves better than sequin spandex, gimmicky gestures, and jumping around like the only thing missing was pompoms. I left feeling slightly confused, wondering if there was one too many energy drinks before the show or had the translation changed from those of us who were there the 1st time. McKenna was a pretty awesome choice for opening. Good originality, even on the covers. Maybe missed the wardrobe change too.

I've never been to the Des Plaines Theatre before and I really liked it. I really liked the look and ambiance. You can hang out and have some dinner and drinks before and after the show. They make it easy to get drinks during the show too. So A+ on the venue. EVERCLEAR kicked a*s! I felt like I was in my 20s again. My wife and I had a great time singing along to all their hits and I was jumping up and down like a mad man. It was the most fun I had at a concert in a long time! If you like Everclear and they're performing near you, I HIGHLY recommend going to see them live. Even after all these years, they still know how to Bring IT!

This was just incredible. From the songs being sung by these legends in the industry to the musicians and how the performed made for just a stellar performance. It was so good to hear amazing music from an amazing and gifted performers. Thank you for coming to Illinois..I hope all those musician travel with you. They are spectacular and that is hard to live up to with talent like the three of you..Great show..

All I can say is wow! What a great show by great performers in a great venue! AJ Croce tells a beautiful story about himself, his mom and dad through blues, his originals and his dad's classics. I was riveted! He is an unbelievable pianist, all his band members are outstanding and have played for well known bands....don't take my word for it though. You should probably see it for yourself...

Marc is a phenomenal entertainer and musician who surrounds himself with other amazing talent. I brought with me 2 friends who were not familiar with him and they left as new Marc Martel fans. Highly recommend his show if you're a mild admirer of Queen or if you're a huge fan. Marc and his band respect the original recordings without destroying your memories to add excessive individual artistry. It's pure entertainment and absolutely no political agenda (THANK YOU MARC).

We saw her several years ago in Nashville and she was spectacular. No so much this time. The sound engineer didn’t have her vocals forward enough in the mix…we couldn’t understand the lyrics. What should have her signature crystalline vocals were muddled and dull. She also struggled with her in ear monitors resulting in pitch problems. She is still a great personality and engaging performer!

Have waited for years to see him. They killed it, Martin's voice is still amazing, he's got a top notch, tight band. Set list is great! Would love to hear Show Me & Many Happy Returns next time or with an orchestra. They were so good at Summerfest, I went to see them then next night an hour away... There should have been much bigger crowds for this iconic band/voice! Please Come again!!!
