I was BLESSED to see for King and Country in Duluth, Georgia Unsung Hero Tour in November, 2024. Even with loosing my voice for two weeks, next to my Conversion Experience & Baptism, this concert was the Best Experience of my life!!!! I'm praying them through 2025 for inspiration for new music & movie opportunities. I Praise God for each one of them & CAN'T WAIT to hear what God's been doing in their lives.
Attending the Grand Ole Opry concert on 7 December, was a MAJOR bucket list event for my father. He is 86 years young and watches Bill Anderson's Family Country Music Reunion daily. So, the opportunity to meet Mr Anderson was something my Dad could not pass. We purchased VIP Backstage Pass tickets, and made the 3000 kilometer round trip. With the exceptional/ extraordinary/ outstanding (you pick the superlative) support of Lorrie (our Backstage host) Mr. Anderson visited our dressing room at intermission. The few minutes talking with my Dad was the most moving experience with him that I can recall . Then, to top it off, Mr. Anderson performed the first set after intermission and in the segue to his third song he recognized us from the stage!! Incredible.
On behalf of both of us, I would like to say the most grateful thank you to Mr. Anderson, Lorrie, and all of the staff at the Grand Ole Opry who made our visit such a wonderful experience. Blessing to all of you.
MOST sincerely,
Jamie M.
PS. A special note to Lorrie - I owe you big time!! I will contact the Opry to see how can I connect with you.
My wife and I were excited to see Henry Cho. He did quite a bit of his old material that we had seen numerous times on YouTube, but there was some new material too. What we did not realize was that he was just one of several performers on an episode of the Grand Ole Opry Show. We thought when we purchased the tickets, for the price we paid, that he was the headliner and that the other performers were his 'warm-up' acts. Has we known that this was not the case, we would have waited a few more days and purchased tickets for the downtown Nashville comedy club that were available at a much lower price. Not to belittle the other performers, they are terrific country artists, but they were not the main reason we purchased the tickets. Our seats were great, we had a good view from the mezzanine and the video screens located throughout the venue were a great asset in getting a good look at the performers on the stage. The camera crew did a good job in giving the viewing audience interesting camera angles of the performers.
Gary was part of a solid lineup of artists honoring the 30 year anniversary of the movie Forrest Gump and its amazing soundtrack.
Gary rocked the house with “Life is a Highway” and contributed “Joy to the World” which will be featured on the upcoming soundtrack.
Gary could sing the phone book and make it sound good -he nailed both songs as he always.
This was my Jacob Collier. To be able to see him preform at the Opry House was truly special. The opener, Emily King, was spectacular and really set the mood for the rest of the night. You just have to see his show and feel the energy of the crowd that he cultivates. I had so much fun.
What an awesome show. All if the artists crushed it. Larry Gatlin walking through the crowd and dancing with our daughter was great, Jamey Johnson was incredible as always, but Chris Janson was the biggest highlight of the night. Bringing John Paycheck back on stage to sing his daddy's song shows the pure and genuine good man he is. We took the tour after the show and saw Chris and Kelly leaving and he came over and talked with us and everyone else. Truly an incredible night and looking forward to the next time
The Crooks Family
Technically it was King Margo, but only because it was the band members playing for someone else. Kind of disappointed this was sold as King Margo playing, as I was excited to see them play their songs. Would have rather seen King Margo play in a dive bar again instead of playing with Gabe Lee for two kinda boring songs. Only reason for the five stars is so King Margo itself doesn’t get a bad review. This was pretty misleading billing and ticket sales.
It was absolutely out of this world!!!! What an amazing night of music and ministry. These guys hit a home run and I was so blessed to be a part.
This was my first time ever seeing them or being at the Opry. I can't even put into words the excitement I felt prior to the show and I couldn't sleep after the show. It was absolutely empowering!
I definitely want to see them again. They have such a powerful testimony. You won't be disappointed if you choose to go see them in concert.
Another absolutely incredible show. Chris Janson is by far the best show to see but the entire show was awesome. Faith, Family, God, and Country are the staples that Chris mentioned and they were all there and are truly amazing values to live life by. We were very blessed to be part of such an amazing show
He is a class act! Obviously he couldn’t let sickness keep him from performing the best that he could for his fans. Which was super special for a super late night show goer. He could have said no to the second performance, but he did not disappoint. Felt so bad for the guy as he was clearly struggling to get through even 3 songs. 🥰
Fabulous show considering there were two substitutions. Lainey Wilson was phenomenal as usual. My reason for going to the show was to see Lainey.
Sure wish the large screen was on while she was performing as I had the absolute
largest man sitting in front of me and it was difficult to see. Wondered why it was on for other performers but not for Lainey or Lauren Alaina.
What can you really say about Dashboard Confessional except amazing! Chris has always put on a great show, this is probably my 16th or 17th show seeing them and every show was great! I def thought they should've been the headliner vs Counting Crows. The only issue I had was on my ticket it said the show started at 8:00 and it actually started at 7:40 so we missed 20 min of the show which was disappointing. I'm not a huge fan of the Grand Ole Opry vs other venues in town. Just personal preference...right.
I didn't go, but somehow I received this request for a rating. I can say I have been to at least 8 Easton Corbin concerts and they have all been absolutely amazing! He always knocks it out of the park at every concert. He's an amazing singer, HOT, funny, and kind. His music is pure country and some even current country. He's got something for all ages to listen to and enjoy. He's so fan friendly it's why he's loved so much. So I can only assume he and Loren (his guitarist) did a phenomenal job at the Grand Ole Opry House that night too! Just sayin....
I've seen Jackson numerous times in my life, but this performance was absolutely the best! The Grand Ole Opry was the perfect venue, and my seats were very close to the stage where he sits at the piano. HEAVEN!! The set list (28 songs) was great, and he played nearly all of my favorite songs for three hours of bliss. I wept as he played For a Dancer, which becomes more and more poignant as I turned 70 this just before this concert. At 74, Jackson's voice and musical talents are as strong as ever. I am so blessed to have lived during the same time as Jackson Browne. Thank you, Jackson for making my life more complete.
I didn't know some of his songs but I am now a fan of his forever !!! I haven't been to a concert in a very long time and let me tell you what he is by far the greatest performer ever !! Not only was he a great performer but he also had so many guest singers and artists. The greatest concert ever so glad we were able to go see him live !! I can't wait to go to another concert of his !!
This was a phenomenal concert. Paramore at their best! They played songs from their upcoming album This Is Why for the first time for an audience plus all their biggest hits. Also Hayley accompanied herself on acoustic guitar for the first time publicly and she did a great job. The concert was so high energy and exciting. My only wish is they had played You are the Only Exception which is my favorite Paramore song.
Terrific! Terri took requests and sang for 2 hrs. Everyone there had a meet & greet with Terri, and a photo taken with her. Each hat brat was given an
individually signed Terri poster by her.
Fun seeing old friends from past concerts!
Nashville is always fun and has grown so much since my last visit a few years ago.
Missed the show; However, in February 1986 my new bride and I were on a Bahamas cruise on the Emerald Seas (ship) and the Gatlin Brothers were on the cruise. I remember watching them skeet shoot off of the aft of the ship. The cruise was a 5-day sailing and the ship was an older model where one could trip over the doorways. They were great then and are still....very sorry we missed them.
What an epic event! The show was spectacular and beautifully performed by the Broadway stars. They told great stories and their voices and the music were amazing! This music really is a touchstone and the experience was so full of joy. My family loved it, and as a millennial, it really brought be back to those films I loved growing up! I highly recommend this show!
As always a fantastic show. Lively from the first note to the last. Not sure where he gets that energy with 4 kids, but I loved every second if it. The perfect mix of songs for a night that was filled with the greatness of God.
Especially when his label came out at the end and surprised him with a #1 record for the first time. Couldn't have possibly been any happier for him.
