What a great gig! It started off with the support act, Kim Jennett. What an amazingly powerful voice! And great music too! They did a very impressive cover version of Led Zeppelin's Immigrant Song. All the musicians in the band were really good, and Kim's voice was outstanding! I'll definitely be checking out her CD's on her website, and keeping a close eye on when she's playing live!
On to Phil Campbell's B*****d Sons; the entire set consisted of Motorhead songs, which of course Phil played on. The three musicians in the band are Phil's actual real life sons! I can't remember coming across this before; similar family bands like The Carpenters and The Osmonds made it big, but I can't think of a band consisting of a Father and his sons! The entire set was played perfectly by the band, and the vocalist was extremely good also. A very impressive live band. I'd definitely go and see them again!
