Cameron Bandshell

The opening of this concert was a beautiful cover by Paul Simon, and the concert continued with Claire's own songs which were melodic and artistic. Claire is a wonderful singer songwriter with an exquisite voice, always in tune, subtle and using well crafted dynamics. She is also a lovely guitar player with excellent technique, especially with her finger picking. Her musical partner Miles joined her after several songs on the Dobro resonator guitar. He is a talented instrumentalist with perfectly synched harmonies to Claire's melodies. The solo and duo performed two sets , finishing with more solo work from Claire. The enthusiastic audience stayed until the end and it was evident that she has won many more fans. All in all, this was a first class performance from a highly competent and engaging professional.
