This was my first time seeing When Rivers Meet, and they didn’t disappoint, the mix of rock fused with a little bit of blues was a fantastic mix and it was a wonderful experience for me. Grace & Aron were a real pleasure to meet, super friendly. Can’t recommend them enough. Their support act Georgia Nevada was a real pleasure to meet, her music is amazing. I would go definitely go and see both of them again.
A great night - venue very atmospheric and Steve's new approach and new content was fantastic.. He is such a talented performe and never fails to give a good show. Just wish he could come to Cornwall more.
I nearly wept with joy: Steve’s soaring voice, spot on lyrics, beautiful harmonies with True Foxes, the musicianship and craftsmanship of the band. What a memorable evening.
Didn't know much about the Band as I mainly came for the location, but ...
It was a show I won't forget. Call it chaotic professionalism or whatever.
It was just one of these shows that where everything was in tune, the location, the music and the entertainment (A lot of entertainment). A 2 hour show that ended way too fast and next time I'll see them (I am sure there will be a next time), it will be purely for the great music and all the rest that comes with it
Great venue, most unusual watching a band in a cave! Show of Hands were as usual great value. Steve has a wonderful way of talking to the crowd and supplying anecdotes before each song - one of THE best in the business at the chat...funny too. Phil is a wonderful fiddler too!
ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT SETTING, FACILITIES AND COLLECTION OF SONGS......TOTALLY FITTING FOR THE FINAL "LOCAL GIG" ON THE FULL CIRCLE TOUR.
TO SING COUSIN JACK - WITH FULL AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION - IN A CAVE ON THE EDGE OF BODMIN MOOR, AND TO FOLLOW UP AS AN ENCORE WITH DON'T BE A STRANGER, JUST SUMMED UP FOR US ALL THAT SHOW OF HANDS HAVE GIVEN US OVER THE LAST 30 YEARS.
THANK YOU PHIL AND STEVE. ALL THE VERY BEST TO YOU AND YOUR NEAREST AND DEAREST FOR THE FUTURE
HTW have grown since we first saw them in Plymouth for first album launch. They were always a good band with their own sound , but now they have even greater stage presence and supported by a growing number of fans, deserve to gain more recognition. Fabulous show in a unique music venue.
Steve and Phil delivered an absolutely cracking session as always, energetically aided and abetted by the superb Madrid based Track Dogs, who will in future by on my play list too!
