Loved seeing John Splithoff live. Travelled all the way from Wellington to see him and was so worth it! Brilliant artist, awesome vibes, would go see him again if he comes back to New Zealand!
So good to welcome Beans on Toast to Aotearoa and Tamaki Makaurau. And he really pulled out the stops.
From the first chord he had us in the palms of his hands, singing along abd laughing/crying at his stories.
He brought the Tuning Fork to life, its not my favorite venue (I think he'd be great in Whammy, Galstos or Neck of the Woods) but his energy and positivity lifted the spirits no end.
Can't wait for the next time, I'll bring my own T-shirt
Awesome gig, you would hardly have known about Josh having voice issues, crowd totally into it, and you are so close to band in small venue. I can’t wait until the return tour they promised!!!
I am 53 and chaperone my daughter to show.
Band was great music and performance was awesome.
Doors opened late, Not happy having to queue over an hour outside and concert started late 9.45pm.
That was almost 3 hours of standing time.
Jack was AMAZING
although the venue was so so hot, felt like I was gonna pass out, so maybe a fan would’ve helped alittle…
but other then that so good!
Great show, don't think the band realised how popular their music is down under. Shows in Australia and New Zealand sold out!!!!!! The venue did their best to make the environment welcoming.
The opening act was good, The Dead South are improving with time, great music and a great group of men who love to share their music with the world.
What an epic gig!
Pre show had a DJ spinning some great punk and scar tunes (from vinyl 4*s) which got the crowd going.
From the second the band got on stage they absolutely smashed it. Huge energy rolling out the best Clash tunes that the fans wanted to hear.... They played a long set without a break and rolled like a steamtrain through the setlist. Second time seeing these guys and they don't disappoint...highly recommend seeing if you love The Clash and Punk music. Easy 5 stars because I can't give it 10.
Spectacular is an understatement. I still have hangover from that unforgettable Saturday night, his bubbly personality lit up the night together with his amazing fan service.
amazing energy and the way grent engaged with the crowd was amazing! Charlie and Jack are amazing band mates as well and bring amazing chemistry to the whole set
