About Fallout Shelter
The Fallout Shelter, an all ages 100-seat performance venue and state-of-the-art broadcast and recording studio, offers one of the most unique live music experiences in New England. Located in Norwood, MA, just 15 miles from Boston, The Fallout Shelter is run under the auspices of the Grass Roots Cultural and Performing Arts Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving, promoting and advocating for traditional American Roots music.
The Fallout Shelter welcomes audiences to attend live shows while experiencing and participating in the creation of The Extended Play Sessions, a music television series streamed live on YouTube and Facebook. All performances are filmed, recorded and broadcast from multiple camera angles. The audience gets a rare opportunity to interact with the artists and enjoy a 'behind the scenes look' at a live recording session and broadcast production. Each show comes with a free commemorative event poster.
The Fallout Shelter is the brainchild of Bill Hurley, who served as Music Promotions Director at Atlantic Records for 15 years. Supported by a trusted board of directors and personally curated staff, under Hurley’s leadership, the Fallout Shelter has gained a reputation for professionalism, technical savvy, and hospitality - inclusive of an expansive, generously stocked Green Room, making it a sought-after venue for local, regional and national artists at all stages of their careers.
The Fallout Shelter serves a wide selection of beer and wine. Doors open at 6PM. Most shows start at 7pm and end no later than 10pm. General admission seating and easy, ample parking is available. Located at The Winsmith Mill, 61 Endicott Street, Bldg #23, Unit B, Norwood, MA. For more information visit: extendedplaysessions.com Contact: info.grcpac@gmail.com
