The Bur Oak

Dan put his on one of his best shows ever. I can’t think of anything that could have made it better. His breath control, emotion, heart and soul was in each and every song. He is an amazing performer, sharing stories and making us all feel things deep in our souls. Not to mention that he’s also an incredible guy!

Great show, great venue. Kyran is an amazing guitarist. Gareth Pearson and newcomer, Derrick Leduke, joined him. All three are Tommy Emmanuel prodigies who play and excel at the same finger style type of playing. Anyone of them would have been an enjoyable evening. All three was a special treat. Nicely done by Bur Oak to get these guys together!

The Burr Oak is a great small venue. Gareth was amazing, demonstrating versatility playing a number of different guitar styles. He was also very personable and engaging. Highly recommend seeing him.

Skerryvore at The Bur Oak was an unforgettable night of music! From the moment they hit the stage, their energy was electric, and the crowd was instantly hooked. Skerryvore blends traditional Celtic sounds with modern folk rock, Each band member brings something unique, from captivating solos to perfectly harmonized vocals. The combination of bagpipes, fiddles, and guitars created an atmosphere that had people on their feet and dancing along. The Bur Oak provided the perfect intimate setting for such a vibrant show, Skerryvore’s passion for their music and their connection with the audience made it feel like an experience rather than just a concert. If you ever get a chance to see them live, don’t miss it!

Chloe is such a fun time, and the band is a blast to watch. My foot is sore from tapping along the whole time. We will see you again!

Spencer has wonderful stage presence, an incredible voice, and writes lyrics that capture the heart! The show was awesome and the venue was perfect! Our second show at Bur Oak (the first was Tophouse last year), and we definitely recommend it.

Josh Rouse is an amazing singer songwriter . He was funny, engaging , looked fit , and played in top form . Totally acoustic ! 😮😎 He even came out and signed Nashville to my partner . 👌💕

Great show! The band is really fun and good at hyping up the crowd. The songs were great and they played some fun covers (ex. "My Heart Will Go on"). I like venue too and am definitely going to see them again when they come back through town in July.

The Bur Oak was a good, intimate venue. The real stars were obviously The Bygones. as good as their you tube videos are, they pale in comparison to seeing them live. The music was awesome, they were comfortable chatting with the audience, and we will go see them again in a heartbeat the next time they play in the area.

Venue and sound and audience was great. Martin of course was as usual his phenomenal self. His vocal range, guitar expertise and whistling skills were on full display. Plus he(and us) had a really good time! I cannot recommend a solo artist better than Martin!

Wonderful venue and Crystal did not disappoint. Great song writer and performer. One of the greatest voices around today. Wonderful story teller. Love seeing her solo.

This was a great show with Scott Amendola and Charlie Hunter at a intimate seated venue. They performed two tight sets and had fun as a duo.
