This is what live music is about , superb musicians playing tightly with passion and energy .
My first time at Lafayette though a regular gig goer. Perfect sized venue ( 500 - 600 capacity ) , friendly staff and good sound system / mixer / acoustics.
Not sure what we expected, but this show and this band exceeded it!! Found Deco a little over a year ago doing a Bronski Beat mashup and haven't turned back, they are the real deal! So glad we made a holiday around this London concert. Hopefully, we'll see you again!

BRS is always a stellar show live and this was no exception. Non stop bangers from start to finish. A truly entertaining and killer show. Like no other.
The only thing keeping it from being the Best Show Ever was that the venue staff were real rude and were kicking people out left and right. God forbid I finish my water or get the merch that I had paid for.
11,000,000 stars for the band
-20 stars for the venue
A fantastic night of Blood Red Shoes tracks celebrating 20 years as a band and the setlist which had been voted on by the fans went from the beginning to the latest album, like a fine wine this band gets better and better by age, one of the finest live bands you will ever see and truly approachable and friendly people Steve and Laura are, they deserved this special anniversary and hopefully many more years together making great songs a highlight of my year thankyou Blood Red Shoes
I saw Angela McMahon solo on the first night of her three-night run, and she was everything she would hope she'd be and more - spontaneous, funny and open, a star on the rise, getting the best out of her audience who responded to her warmth with their own. She's kicked on from the performer she was (according to youtube clips) a couple of years ago and comes at you now with a great deal of confidence, swinging into old songs like Keeping Time with great verve and panache and wringing great things out of the songs from her new album, even alone without her band. She's a bit like this generation's Regina Spektor, with an indie vibe that even so harks back to a classic singer-songwriter tradition - but an Australian Regina Spektor who is less art-for-art's sake. As is the way of this generation, Angie McMahon is as interested in the reason why she's doing what she's doing as the thing she's actually doing, as interested in her motivation as she is in the songs. This priority felt like something new, and a very refreshing and heartfelt response to this era's careless nihilism.
Sensational! His voice is beautiful and his songs are inspiring! I didn't know he was from the band The Vamps…. I only knew him from his solo work…. and I'm happy to say I'm a fan of James McVey, not the boyband. He presented an intimate performance proving that he is more than just a pretty face… he composes, plays and sings! Thank you James for reinventing yourself in the musical universe!
Really enjoyed Simeon's style of engaging the audience, and her singing, strumming, and songwriting skills are impressive. Glad to know she's local, so we can hopefully see her live again soon.

(The venue is pretty cool with a false-retro southern USA look. After standing for 3.5 hours, though, I was wishing there was a seat available.)
Brilliant , supporting world mental health day focused on musicians welfare acoustic performances by Henry Grace , Elles and co honest and soulful always enjoy Elles whether with her band or solo tonight performing with her co-writer Ash just wonderful to experience them both together
♥️🙏♥️
The venue was gorgeous, but there was something off in the sound mix, leaving the band sounding a little off balance. Still, fantastic show, loved Brian opening for himself, and I hope this band becomes a permanent fixture as they're awesome together. Till next time!
The Veils were just superb, brilliant live and brought all of their songs to life.Full energy non stop knocking out a mix of new and old songs for one of the best nights!! Everyone is as a foot taller at the end of the night😉🤣
Destinnnn,
He really came through with the vibes and energy. Opening act Sasha Keable, who I’ve been dying to see for a while and she did not come to play! Then he brought out Bellah and Jxck James…who I’ve been wanting to see. First time going to Layafette, very nice venue and atmosphere.
Went to this concert for my birthday, I waited 5 years to see them live and it was well worth the wait. Only issue is that they didnt sell over a large in tees, but I sewn mine to fit. Overall, it made my birthday one of the best I've ever had.
An incredible show and Baely was absolutely amazing!!
Marie and her band did wonderfully, Baely and his band did wonderfully and Deya Soul did a wonderful job with her pianist, Ken - who is just exceptional on those keys!
Thank you for a fantastic show, Marie. Just what me and my friend needed and we knew you would do great! Thank you for your special guests. They showed up and showed out! Was lovely to hear James and Delleile live and to perfection 😊 Looking forward to your next show!
What a truly amazing live band! Brilliant, talented, energetic and one of the best bands I have watched in years!
The sound at the Lafayette is superb so a big up too the sound team.
The Dub Pistols had special guests Natty Campbell what a talent, he has a lovely presence along with the living legend Horseman!
Boys you done good xx
I would love to write something really clever and provide insight on the many artists that come to mind when you hear Ondara perform, but you can read that in the music papers with a quick google search.
But really he's a one-off, and for all the great songwriting its really all about that voice. Astonishing range, impeccable control and great dynamic variety. Just amazing, a privilege to have heard him sing live.
If you missed it, try to catch Ondara next time he's over, I doubt you'd be disappointed.
Gaz Coombes’ current body of solo work is incredible, and if this gig was anything to go by the forthcoming album “Turn the car around” will be superb. Vocally, lyrically and musically he is quite superb. Topped off with a great band, smashing venue and atmosphere. Would highly recommend seeing him on tour in 23, we will.
The Wandering Hearts were brilliant- really slick flawless performance and the music arrangement with the additional 3 musicians was awesome. Could have listened all night! Wishing them success all the way to the Hall of Fame!
Their support act Wildwood Kin were very good too - hidden gems !
Top night.
organisation / preparation: 2/5 it took way too long to queue, it took too long until the opening act came on (staff started/finished soundcheck when audience were all in) and the break in between the main act was alright
but other than that:
deyaz was sooooo good, i haven’t heard his music then but his performance definitely made me want to listen to his music
keshi was so much better than i imagined, set list great, vocals on point, stage presence wow
Great concert. The venue was cool and the band had great stage presence. The openers were a little bit underwhelming and didn't quite fit in with the rest of the set. The demographic also kinda killed the vibe(we were the youngest people by a good 10 years), but that comes with the territory of having a good music taste.
