Flat Iron

A small space, a good vibe and music that makes you throw your head back and close your eyes and sway. This was a show that reminded everyone that there is still something left to smile about. Do yourself a favor and get into some blue collar jazz. I promise you will love it.

Flat Iron was a great venue for a great show. Sarah Gross was terrific, and then William Hinson and his band put on a fantastic performance. I hope that they return to the Triad soon.

The artist and the opener were AMAZING! Flagship Romance commanded the room and gave us a rocking set! The duo is very melodic and harmonious. When The Rough & Tumble joined them on staged, it was spectacular! The evening was unforgettable! The set from The Rough & Tumble was fun and FANTASTIC! It was a great night of great music! The Flat Iron is an institution and the crowd was attentive and not disruptive. It made for a perfect listening event.

Lee Roy sings with such pure emotion, it is always a delight to hear him! The Christmas songs at this show were amazing and a pure joy to hear....which is a challenging accomplishment for songs that are so familiar, yet Lee Roy pulls it off and had me wanting to hear more.

The Tuesday night songwriters show is AMAZING! I was blown away by the singers, the very attentive crowd and the listening room vibe. I will be attending more of these shows!

Great show. Some new songs with some old favorites. I've seen him 3 times this year and he always puts on a fantastic show.

What a wonderful show! Clive Carroll is a world class guitarist. He played jazz, ragtime, blues, Celtic and more, and all of it was terrific. The Flat Iron in Greensboro NC is a small club with good acoustics and comfortable seating. My companions and I thoroughly enjoyed this show.

Abigail is so honest and has a wonderful tone. Her guests were warm, engaging, and very talented. This is a series well worth the price of admission!

Each band had a very fun and memorable time on stage. Definitely looking forward to seeing all of them again!

Caitlin and the Broadcast raised the roof with an outstanding show....once again! The power of her vocals, the profound lyrics, stellar guitar, bass, and drums made for an incredible blues-rocking evening.

I’ve known Ric since he was a kid, so I’ve had the pleasure of watching him grow into a world-class songwriter, singer, and multi-instrumentalist. His songs are at once familiar and unique, and his lyrics are moving, witty, and poetic. A member of The Sam Grisman Project as well as a solo artist, Ric surrounds himself with fantastic musicians no matter the venue. This guy is the real deal, and seeing him live is an experience you will not want to miss.

Amazing show,l. This Lady sounds exactly the same lace as she does on her recordings. If trashville truly cared about talent she would be packing arenas by now. She is a genuine class act and took the time to meet and greet her fans. 100% will make every effort to see her whenever she is close.

Awesome show! Great energy and interaction with the fans. The music sounded great. Last time I saw them the sound mix was off - guitars so loud that the vocals were drowned out. This time the sound was great! Highly recommend!

Flat Iron is a great small venue to see a show. Band was great. Missed the guitar plater for sure. If all members were there the sound would have been a bit fuller and it would have been a 5. But still 100% worth the drive from Charlotte.

William Hinson and his band were tight and full of energy. His songs (generally performed acoustically) had a different vibe and integrated unique dynamics for the live performance. The Flat Iron was a great venue and the sound perfect.
