Kris was amazing!!! The venue spectacular and intimate. Kris didn’t disappoint and sang his heart out! What a voice! Warm up was Walker Burroughs and he was so great!!! What a great evening of entertainment and sheer pleasure!
Sue have a great set of songs by women artists who have influenced her, with short background chats about the why & how of each. Her music was soulful, diverse—from Segovia classical, flamenco, to 1920s/30s period blues, to a single electric rendition of Hurricane Girl. I would recommend anyone who loves the blues to catch her. I heard she appears regularly with Jimmy Vaughan at C Boys on South Congress. The two times I’ve seen her before we’re with Vaughan also, so obviously a good fit. Authentic Austin at play.
This was the 5 time I have seen Bruce and he never disappoints. I really enjoyed the venue and the songs that Bruce chose to play. Always a treat! We would love to see him in Lubbock, Texas in the future.
I am 72 and I started listening to Bruce in 1982 and will continue to support him by purchasing his music and seeing him live when the opportunity presents itself.

Rickie Lee was fresh and wonderful and energetic and funny., Her procussionest was the perfect accompaniment. Their chemistry was amazing, An added bonus was her piano talent as well. The venue was the ideal setting. Bravo!
Laura and Lydia are absolutely amazing! Such a profound pleasure to finally hear them live in concert. A treasured experience getting to say hello to them and sharing how precious their music has been for me.
Corey Morrow’s performance at 04 Center is by far one of the best performances I have ever witnessed.
The intimate setting of the 04 Center felt as if you were with friends and neighbors gathered around to laugh . Cory Morrow’s performance was appreciated. He shared with everyone how he got his start in music; how he achieved his success and then lost almost lost his career. The part that struck a cord with me was how he boasted proudly that Jesus brought peace and security.
This show was absolutely amazing. We had front row seats and enjoyed every second of the GLS's performance! It had been 9 years since my wife and I last saw them in Phoenix, and this time we brought our 4 boys who are also huge fans. The boys also loved it! It was super-cool to meet Tony after the show for merch and photos! We cannot wait to see them again...
Cari was amazing and created a phenomenal experience. Her voice and her inspirational spirit gave the entire audience the opportunity to connect with Janice Joplin inner spirit and Lyrics.
So blessed to have seen this show. All the musicians were incredible . Austin is so lucky!!

OMG! Those guys knocked it out of the park! This show was so fun, and you could tell they were having fun too. Never seen them before, although we had seen The Reverent Few and enjoyed them very much. That’s why we chose this show. Will drive from Galveston next year if they return. Not completely happy with the sound mixing at the venue, however. Attended a show at the same venue the night before, and the same sound issue took place. Heavy on instruments but too light on vocals. Just saying…..our opinion only 😊
Excellent concert by extremely talented musicians. Great venue with seats!! I attended last year and was thrilled to attend again this year. I would love this to become a tradition! The Wilder Blue is a fantastic band!
We were short one attendee in our group & wished he could have been there,
Marcia was as great as we expected.
REUNION;
As it turns out, Shelly was the same person we knew in her teens & early 20's!
we'll catch up soon.
I loved how Carolyn Wonderland vocally merged & played into the songs given her other music styles.
I'd say the overall event; an 8 of 10 scale.
Sierra Hull and Justin Moses played their hearts out and thrilled the crowd at the 04 Center. They performed their own music as well as tributes to bluegrass icons such as Doc Watson and Tony Rice. They are so talented and such gifted musicians. It was a pure joy watching and listening to them.
The venue was fine and we were in one of the back rows. There are 4 monitors installed, but they were used to advertise future shows. The show would have been more enjoyable if the performance was shown on the monitors. I was only able to see part of Iris Dement's head.
I'm a fan of Iris Dement's earlier songs and only one song was played that wasn't from her new album "Workin' on a World". I was lukewarm to the songs from the new album and would have enjoyed a mix on new and old songs better.
04 is a nice venue with good sound. Had a great time, Eric did a good job opening, then Jesse and Samantha really killed it. I would have gone back Saturday but it was sold out. What really topped the night off was meeting Reuben, Samantha’s manager, really nice guy.
Great venue. Jesse and Samantha were on point and having so much fun on stage. ‘04 Center is a listening style room, seating capacity is 350. Easy to get to. Clean space, well appointed venue with understated elegance. Great sound system, well-rounded bar selection and merchants tables.
Georgia’s finest rock and rollin’ blues artist came to town with guitarist Doug Kees and raised the roof on the 04 Center by a few inches at least! Michelle was on tour promoting her new album, 1977. The 15 song set included 5 off the new record as well as old favorites like “Weed & Wine” “Superball” and “Debris”. The show was full of energy and incredible guitar work from both Michelle and Doug Kees. The extended interlude in the crowd rousing “Preacher’s Daughter” that switched midway to Moanin’ Malone’s trademark blues inflection was both classic and fresh. Without a doubt, this show was a winner from start to finish. Michelle’s vocals , energy and crowd connection were top notch and both guitarists filled the place with incredible music. Throughout the isolation of the pandemic I felt the acute loss of live music. The 04 was a great place to enjoy Michelle’s show. If you can possibly get to onr of her shows, you owe it to yourself to get there. It’s soul medicine.
What a voice! Doug and the whole band were awesome, he can make the guitar sing too. The keyboard player and drummer were on fire! Morgan interacted with the audience very well. Makes me want to see her again and again! The VIP experience was the way to go, even met her dogs! Truly worth the wait to see her.
Awesome performance by the Steeldrivers as always. One the best modern bluegrass bands to come along. New Lead Singer and guitarist Matt Dame fits the Steelhead mold perfectly. Chris Stapleton better watch his back. Matt could follow in his footsteps. Tammy Rogers and the rest of the band are amazing in everything they contribute to the unique sound that is the Steeldrivers.
Opening band Troubadour Blue is an up and coming young trio that is produced by Tammy Rogers and it shows in their polished performance and witty candor. The crowd was very impressed with Troubadour Blue. Great time at an awesome pure music venue — the 04 Center.
Master swamp blues man played 2 solid hours with excellent rhythm section. Intimate setting at 04 Center contributed to his genuine rapport with the audience. Mixed New Orleans R/B covers and originals old and new. Solid.
I was fortunate to be in attendance for the Austin and Houston shows and was blown away by Matthew Mayfield 's incredible talent. The energy in the room was electric. There's just something hypnotic about a talented man and an acoustic guitar, alone on a stage. Matthew delivered soulful, heartfelt music that reaches deep into your soul - that's what good music should do! His live performances are even better than his studio versions! Thankful to have been able to experience such greatness 2 nights in a row. Looking forward to the next time...
