Good not a great concert, I enjoyed the show, didn't play silent lucidity even with back tracks, unfortunate & other songs not played, played exactly 1 hour & 14 minutes with a 3 minute encore break, good video & guitar riffs, first time to see them without Geoff Tate the original lead singer. See YouTube channel for some videos live.
Great music of course or I wouldn’t have gone - very cool that songs he played were from his early days. I’ve seen more than a few concerts but he is very rare in that he actually talks to the audience between song - not just a one sentence or less intro to the next song they’re doing like so many musicians - but he had stories to tell and most of them were had an element of humor - like he was talking to as maybe not as a good friend but like a friendly acquaintance that you know but haven’t had enough time together to become friends - great stage presence. Chrissie Hynde is a Rock-N-Roll hall of famer and she can still sing awesomely.
I like her - am annoyed by people thinking they need to film the whole concert, which no one will ever watch again. Sure take a picture or three, a short video clip, but when Chrissie ask's you to put your phone away, do it. Don't dig-in and piss her off to the point that she doesn't play Mystery Achievement. The Pretenders were awesome - crowd shameful
I hadn't heard of the guys before but figured it would be fun to see them. They were amazing, it was one hell of a fun night, they truly channel Van Halen, they have the sound and energy, just amazing performance and it was just a great night of live music. I really hope they come around again, I will make sure I go see them.
We arrived at the hard Rock Sacramento (Wheatland) Went through the security got a cocktail found our seats and then the show started. It was fabulous. Taylor Acorn opened Followed by boys like girls And then came Dashboard Confessional It was an excellent show. We had a great time The entire show ran about 3 1/2 hours can’t wait for the next show at the Hard Rock 🎸
Skid Row kicked a*s! Great show at an excellent venue. First time watching a concert at Hard Rock Live. Snake, Rachel, Scotti, and Rob sound better than ever., but what really impressed me were Lizzy Hales vocals. Amazing! Stephen Pearcy opened the show playing RATT classics. He did a good job with his band, but he obviously is not Way Cool Jr. from eighties and nineties. Will definitely go back to the Hard Rock Live.
This show was epic. I thought it would be good because I know Lzzy can hit notes no one else can in the music scene right now. Her range is amazing. I purchased tickets because I love Skid Row and when they announced Lzzy Hale I was floored. I knew it would be great but I didn’t know it would be epic. Wow! She belted out the screams that I thought only Sebastian could hit. I was wrong, she killed it. Just Wow! I felt in someway it was a historical night, having a woman filling the shoes of Sebastian Bach, a rock legend known for his impossible ranges and I was there! Thank you everyone for bringing this show to the Sacramento area!
I have to admit ..It’s been awhile!!! The last time I saw Aaron Lewis solo was seven or eight years ago in Reno. He was still relatively new to his country career. I’ve been in Staind fan since the very beginning ever since I saw them at Family Values. I most recently saw Staind at Aftershock in 2019. That being said this new iteration of Aaron is not my favorite. Admittedly I’m not the biggest country fan. And although I more or less agree with his political views, that’s not the reason why I come to a concert. I come to hear music. And although the musicianship was good, and I enjoyed Aaron‘s interaction with the crowd. This is not the Aaron Lewis crowd I once felt comfortable with. Even the cover songs that he played had a country twang to them. I really like the new Staind album and I will keep my eyes peeled for a tour from them but unfortunately this is probably the last time I’ll attend a solo Aaron Lewis show. I’m not blaming him. It’s my fault. I should have done my research. I didn’t know what I was getting into. I get why people are into it and I’m not faulting them. It’s just not my cup of tea anymore.
Donny Osmond did not disappoint his fans, including yours truly. It was a nostalgic journey back to when I was 13, before Jim Morrison and Elton John. I really loved the review of his six decade career and to witness what I already knew. He’s incredibly talented. Thank you for leaving Las Vegas and bringing your show to Wheatland, California. It was a thrill!
So awesome. Cheered on the borderline or no actually full on jazz pianist and the drummer who SANG. I think he sang on one of their album recordings too! Anyway, they shredded on Big Jilm as a rockin’ opener and then Piss Up a Rope came in hard second. Later on, not knowing many of the lyrics to their songs as I wish i did, I was happy to hear The Blarney Stone belt from Mr. Dean Krabs after a couple one-puff cigarettes. Ok I’m listening to Shia Lebouf with my friends rn. This concert inspired me to do something. I see myself in dean’s curls
I've seen Halsey a million and one times, but never like this! H was so in their element, playing with their voice and looking so comfortable and at home on stage with the string ensemble. Every musician was absolutely incredible! I usually try not to take too too many videos, but I couldn't stop at this show. I want to be able to listen to these songs with strings whenever I want because it added such new life to each one.
Hard Rock Live Sacramento was a great venue, especially for this show! I was in section 102, but even the seats in the 200 section had perfect views of the entire stage. I felt like I was walking into a high school auditorium because of the size, and that is a very good thing! The staff was also incredibly nice and helpful. Everyone I interacted with was so genuine and wanted us all to have a fun, safe time, and they definitely made us feel comfortable so we were able to enjoy the whole experience.
I could go on and on about everything. Halsey is the absolute BEST and they are so creative. Thank you to H, the whole Halsey team, Hard Rock, and the entire staff at Hard Rock Live Sacramento. This experience was incredibly amazing!
IT WAS SO FUN! We got in very quickly thankfully to the people giving the wristbands out (we had problems getting out tickets pulled back up for it but they were really nice and let us get through with no trouble). I definitely recommend going to see her concerts and if you go to hard rock it will be amazing. It was an amazing first concert experience and I will definitely be going to see more
I love Brett Young — I am so happy to have finally seen him live. It was such a bummer that he was sick and really didn’t have his full voice or energy. Personally, I would have been happy if it had been rescheduled. Just sad that I spent the full money and didn’t get the full show. Maybe next time.
Sting was awesome! Sting’s band and his singers were awesome. They performed for over two hours, and all the great hits. The problem I had was allowing people stand in front of the stage. I spent a lot of money to have a front row seat only to watch groupies and drunks dancing and tripping over the people in the front. I’ve been to a few concerts at Hard Rock and never had this problem, so I’m assuming it’s the decision of the artist. If I would have known I could have bought a cheap ticket and just rush to the front of the stage I could have saved a hell of a lot of money. Disappointing!
George Clinton & Parliament-Funkadelic was Fuckhorrific! Every song they played was a hit! I’m so sad to see George Clinton leave. But I was also very happy to see Uché (from American Idol), I freaked out on this show and the fact I seen him along with George Clinton & Parliament-Funkadelic. It was sooo sick! So glad I got to see them before George retired. I have to say my third favorite concert I have ever been too! Great show.
It was wonderful finally to see JB especially since he were to pass away a couple months later. He played my favorite song (cause we/lovers) but of course shorten it to about a quarter length. I don't quite understand what JD is doing on stage. Kind of reminded me of the guitar strumming on Bill and Ted's excellent adventure. JB was magic.
It was absolutely amazing. My dad has always been a big fan of Jeff Beck and has raised me on his music. Never have I ever been in more of a home feel than I was there. Also, seeing the man I love Mr. Johnny Depp, was the best moment of my life I can think.
The only issue was with the vendor ( hard rock c****o ) because buying the tickets here from Bandsintown only gave QR codes for the tickets and hard c****o couldn’t scan them. There was an issue getting in until a group of us complained then they had to let us in. Other then that issue the concert was amazing and BLUE OCTOBER never disappoints !
Gary Clark Jr. put on a great show at the Hard Rock Live! He can go from blues to rock to soul seamlessly. Great band that’s backing him, especially Jon on keys and Elijah on bass. And man Gary can play those (many) guitars! First time at the Hard Rock Live venue, very nice and not overly crowded. Throughly enjoyed the night!
