Chris sang Only the lonely to my sister on stage so this was the best Christmas present ever for her.
Brenda Garrett I hope you enjoyed that special moment. We had an amazing evening making unforgettable memories
Amazing. This is no mere cover band. It was a tight authentic masterclass in Zeppelin. Jason and Mr Jimmy put on a show that honors the original performance without feeling like a kitschy replica. Would be impossible to experience this set performed better in 2025. Mix and sound was true to the original, balanced, articulate, had punchy drums and never felt muddy or muffled.
Good show! Some new, some old. Crowd loved the classics of course. Gavin is maybe the most famous artist that will jump into the crowd and take a lap around a venue, right in with the fans. I saw him at Rock on the Range. 65k+ people, and he was right in it. He did it again last night. I'm sure there are vids online.
This was our first time at the c****o and at the concert venue. Staff were very helpful and efficient, everything was clean and plenty of room to move about. C****o had amazingly cold air after the heat of being outside all evening. Security was prompt to squash what could have been fights.
Ludachris, Flo Rida and Ashanti did amazing sets, full of energy and sass even with the heat and Ashanti feeling ill before the show. The DJs did well to entertain between sets and wow! The dancers were doing their thing!
My only suggestion for improvement would be to have more drinks ready for a large crowd. Show started at 7 and by 8:50 there was nothing to drink but bud light, water and coke. Thanks for a great night!! We will be back!
Rick always puts on a great show! I've seen him every chance I got since he first came near in '82, and have followed him since '72. He and the band are clearly having a blast, which is important to me. If the band isn't having fun, what's the point?
Personally, I'd prefer some newer music; with the exception of "Voodoo House" (which I LOVE), he mostly did 80s songs. Not that I don't enjoy those, of course. But I really love some of the newer stuff too. With as many albums as he's released, though, if he did everybody's favorites, he'd be there all night!
Anyone who hasn't seen him live, check him out. This band ROCKS! And I listen to mostly "hair bands", if that gives you any frame of reference.
I know I'll continue to see any show I can. As long as he's still performing, I'll keep showing up.
I love these guys! I've been in since the very beginning (actually before that since I saw Paul and Kip when they toured with Alice Cooper), and they're always a blast. I admit it was very strange not seeing Reb, as he's busy with the Whitesnake farewell tour. I definitely missed him. But Jake did a great job of filling in and if course everyone else was right in point.
It was a little frustrating as the security guard on my side had been told we weren't allowed up to the barriers, so we had to stand a few feet farther back than we liked. Not his fault, nice guy who was just misinformed. It got straightened out though not in time for Winger (can you tell I'm spoiled?). But on the up side, I was in a great position to be able to really watch what Rod was playing, so that was great fun.
This is my 4th time this year seeing Winger, and I'll continue to see them every chance I get. Great music, amazing musicians, and a blast live. Can't Get Enuff!
